1. This one's probably for Hoss.......Who played Quirk ( if I'm spelling it right) McQuade? I can't find it!

2. What's with the Beer stuff on the front page?? Who are we buying beer for? ourselves, each other, a guest? OR....is it figurative and a  " Cute" way of raising money for the site? ( If it's not a scam and it's for raising money for one our citizens or our supreme superior leader....I 'm DOWN for it!! Let me know!)  :) *

* I should be back later on tonight watching DOH and having a few adult beverages and celebrating DOHD!*

* Happy Dukes Of Hazzard Day everybody!  :)

I'm big on Eastwood. I've got about 34 of his movies! I'm surprised I never noticed him!

I'm guessing that I have 15-20 of his movies myself.

BTW. Guzman is the drug lord who gets shot in his penthouse while Frank DiGiorgio and his partner have him under surveillance.

I also like the guy who was in several of Eastwood's movies as a bad guy and he played  a bad guy in a DOH episode......can't think....the guy who put racing engines in old jalopies and had the smuggled out. He ran a demolition derby.....?? He was the ring leader of the motorcycle gang in Every Which Way but Loose and Any Which Way You Can

Something I Noticed:  I'm watching the one that has Bo N Luke  ( because of their NASCAR experience) " Layin' out the course".....would you really NEED any experience in NASCAR to lay out a race track? Besides ( This is one I never caught until a few days/nights ago) ,  NASCAR is one big oval but the car race in Hazzard had twists and turns etc. so their " NASCAR experience" wouldn't mean anything!   LOL!  :)

That is a good question. There is a couple tracks that are road races where they do turn right as well as left, so maybe they learned something from them when they were on the circuit. Though I am not sure if they did them back then or if that's a newish type thing. But maybe there is more than just the turns that they took from the track as every track has it's own "personality" so to say so maybe they were adding them to their track. Or maybe it was just something to push the plot line along...LOL.

John Quade played Augie Detweiller in 'Hazzard Connection'. As you said, he also made several movie appearances alongside Clint Eastwood, including Westerns 'The Outlaw Josey Wales' and 'High Plains Drifter', and he was Chola, the hapless leader of the Black Widows biker gang in 'Every Which Way But Loose' and 'Any Which Way You Can'.  I posted a picture of him as Chola and Augie several years ago in the trivia thread.

Speaking of Clint Eastwood's co-stars from 'Any Which Way You Can', don't forget that his big fight rival Jack Wilson was played by William Smith who was Jason Steele in '10 Million Dollar Sheriff'.
