Roger, you totally made my day....my year. I didn't even realize it was my anniversary. I am so blessed to get to know you and others on this great platform. As much as I love the Dukes, it's all of y'all that brings me back and keeps me coming back. I love you and everyone on here. Thank you so much. Time does fly when you are having fun. Sadly that also makes me older. HA. :) Thank you so much, Roger, for this post. <3

Well y'all. I got some news. I got a new to me dog on Friday. So far it is working out great, though my older dog is having a rough time adjusting to the new pup. She is slowly getting better and used to him. So I am hopeful it will work out.

Last September my sisters and I got my parents two chihuahua and min pin mix pups after their boxer passed away a year and a half ago. They named them Dusty (after George Strait's Pure Country movie) and Dolly (Dolly Parton).

Well, a couple of weeks I was talking to them in text about my worry about my Rosie dog (she will be 13 at the end of June) and my dad was quick was to say that I could have Dusty. Which I didn't take him serious at first and when I did felt bad, but he said two dogs were too much for them and the dogs being siblings would do better apart from one another. So last Friday I picked Dusty up to see how he will do at my apartment. So far, so good. My only challenge is my landlady. LOL.

I am really hoping it works out. Otherwise, my parents said that he can go back home to them and Dolly. But hopefully it will work out with him at my apartment and my older dog will come around to having him around.

I have renamed Dusty to Bandit after Smokey and the Bandit. I was thinking Dukes of Hazzard or Ryno after my favorite baseball player (yes he was a Cubs player...LOL) . My last dog that I lost two and a half years ago was named Rosco.  And couldn't find another name I wanted to for him. And Bandit really seems to fit him.

So here is Bandit :)

Good to hear from you Garrett and congratulations! And nice job with the Dukes name since the very first episode was "One Armed Bandits." (and you thought you named him after Smokey and the Bandit). Good thing I cleared that up for you. Our new Shih-tzu puppy Lulu is doing well. She's only 8 lbs....a little smaller than Lulu Hogg. We are crazy about her.

Thank you Roger. OOOooo great save there, Roger. I didn't even thought of that reference. HA. My Rosie is a shih tzu corgi mix. They are so cute and smart. I bet Lulu is cute and sweet too. Dogs are the best!
