Well, sorta...that's what started the whole thing, all I said was, I was gonna enter the challenge and write a story! Next thing I knew, all hell had broke lose, and then Doc was mad at me because I flirted wih somebody new, and then before that MaryAnne was annoyed because I was gonna make her wear a collar, so she was gonna put me in a dog's ballerina costume, and then Alex pissed off MaryAnne and she threw him in the clink, but I stayed outta that one.

Aw, does this mean Doc and I can't finish our....um...making up in front of everybody?

Ya know, a reasonable person would be embarassed by this situation by now... But this is me we're talkin' about. WAAAHOOOOOO!! Doc, where were we.

GAH!! MaryAnne! You're uh...home early.... Doc and I were just...sortin' out a little misunderstandin' over my welcome wagon gestures.

Anythang for you, Doc. That's what I love about you....yer so understandin', and patient, and forgiving. You take things in such stride.

It's the only thing saving me. My, yer lookin' radiant this evenin', Doc. Can I get you a drink? Pour you some coffee? Clean yer house? Take out your garbage? Paint the garage? Polish your boots? Re-wire a lamp?

You just gotta know when to shift gears. I was just about to crawl into a dog crate with you, and then I wasn't sure what the ID tags were saying, know what I mean? But, now that we got that sorted out - your crate or mine, Poochy?

Probably not, and if they could, we should avoid the discussion. Man, it's a slow night when I'm answering my own posts. Hmm....it's occurred to me that I've given a bark n' hollar to just about everybody else here, but I've yet to challenge the top dog. And since this particular story challenge was Mufn's idea anyhow....
