  1. You ever try to listen to a song on radio, and alway get the end of the song, that was me and the trailer. I don't like yahoo, so I don't go there. Last night I saw the full trailer, it was real good. I expected real bad things. I was pleased with the camera angles, and the stunts. I think the movie will be better than we all thought.
  2. Bo and Luke, called for help. Cooter heard the call, and made it over first. He was able to, break Jimmy out of the car, with a torch, and a crowbar. The ambulance, pulled Jimmy out of the car, and put him on the flatboard, and put him in. With Jimmy being new, The boys had no one else to call but Jesse. Everyone raced over to Tri-county General. By the time the stretcher made it into the er, Jimmy had passed out, and was almost in shock. They all waited in the er waiting room, until the dr. came out and told them that his arm was broken, and he has a concussion. Jesse sent the boys and Cooter, to rescue the wreck. Bo- Why would he try a jump with slicks on the back, he wouldn't have the traction to land it right. Luke- Not only that cuz, but he isn't that experienced of a driver. That car was too much muscle. Cooter- You two, know why he did that. He has looked up to you two, ever since he was able to walk. Every summer, when he came down from Conyers, he would hang all over you two, and drool over the General. I remember when he got his licence, he called me and asked me to bulid him a car just like it, and he would wire the money for it. After he hung up, I called Luke's brother, and his father to see if it was ok. He said no. I ain't sayin' you 2 caused this, but he is definatly influenced by you guys. Bo- I know, we tried to tell him no, but he wouldn't give up, so we did it to get the race out of his system. We just followed along, so he wouldn't get hurt. I just wished I hadn't jumped the General. Luke- Hey Coot, you still got that old mustang, at your farm? Cooter- Yeah why? Luke- Well he'll need a car, and if we use some old parts, from our mustang we had from the circuit last year, we could teach him how to drive, and how to handle a car so he don't get killed the next time. Cooter- Sounds like a good idea, I'll run the wreck to the junkyard, and strip it for parts, I'll drop you guys at the farm. It's still runs fine, shouldn't need any major work yet. {Cue alex, or anyone}
  3. i'm the same way with directions. I always try to find the nearest mcdonalds, or walmart, and go from there. Usually, all roads lead to a mcdonalds, or walmart somewhere.
  4. My fiance bought me 8 flannel shirts, a cobra cb, and parts for my truck for christmas. The ringtone for my cellphone, is the closing to the dukes of hazzard. I have a #3, tattooed on my shoulder, and a rebel flag on my arm. My Idea of dressing up, is tucking in my shirt, and changing hats. For an aniversery present, I sung my fiance, good hearted woman by waylon. You had a Ford Escort, that laid rubber in 3 out of 4 gears. I destroyed my truck, by getting air, over a small hill, and railroad tracks. I bought that truck from a junkyard. I can the differece between good moonshine and the cheap stuff. Marlboro, and Budweiser, sent me a Christmas card.
  5. What's the name of this website?
  6. My parents were cool with the dukes, they got me 2 of what they could find. One to play with and one to stash away. The more expensive stuff, I could play with, only with supervision. 1980 metal lunch box coloring books, and annuals the original posters the general lee dash board toy the four car box set (both with two cop cars, and the one with the rest) the waylon 45 the soundtrack the record player the models the coleco game the t-shirts the slot racing set the jumper set all the cars, in 1/64,1/18,and 1/24 the action figures the flash teddy bear (even though i would have preferred daisy lol) General Lee's autograph. They are mostly in the boxes like I said. I keep them displayed, with my dale earhardt stuff, in room off of my garage. It's my play room, with tv, a homemade bar, and a jukebox. The jukebox, I bought from a bar that was going out of business, got it for a 100.00, with the records in it, old waylon, hank, willie. I love my playroom. And before you ask, no you not move in, and nothing is for sale, and yes it is heavily guarded, well my dog lucky is heavy. Anyway thats my collection.
  7. maybe instead of the dukes of hazzard, cbs should called the show the hatfields and mccoys
  8. I listen to southern rock, like skynyrd, zz top, allman bros. I love "outlaw country", Waylon, Bocephus, Mr. Cash, Willie, Steve Earle and Kris Kristofferson. I also like SOME, of the new country, Shooter Jennings, (The kid is excellent, that cd is one to get), dierks bentley, toby keith, montgomery gentry, and brad paisley. Rap, isn't music, just words I dont understand. The newer rock, hurts my ears. Pop, just makes me wanna toss me cookies. Classic rock, like guns and roses, and metallica - (don't shoot me, but I like the black album, and up from there). The only rap I can tolerate is Kid Rock, and he aint rap anymore. You know country music is in trouble, when a pop star, and a rock star make a better country song, than the "pros".
  9. I just posted part 7. Tell me what you think.
  10. Part 7 John stirs up dust as he kicks the car, out of the garage. He muscles it on to the main road. He grabs the cb mic, “Break 7, this is the 1hellraiser, anyone home on the farm?†Static crackles for a second or two, “Hey hell raiser, you got Luke here, what’s goin on?†John shoots back, “Not much, me and Kylie, are going for a Sunday ride, how’s things going over there?†“Ok, were all gathered around the TV, watching the race, it looks like Jimmie Johnson, got it again.†Luke tells him. “How’d Jr. do?†John asks almost to scared to ask. “He came in 3rd, not bad, but he’s still off track. He ran loose all day, and Talladega, is a bad place to do thatâ€. Luke Tells him. “10-4 on that uncle, Me and Kylie, are gonna pull off, by the field, for a bit. Ya’ll need anything?†John comes back. “No, just take it easy on her son, she’s a good kid. And, uh don’t name him after me.†Luke, jokes with him. Kylie, takes the mic, “No danger of that, there’s enough jackasses, in the world without another Luke Duke.†Kylies tells him laughing. Just then, the radio breaks in, “She gotcha pegged, huh Luke? By the way John, if you want bring her by for dinner.†Debbie breaks in, as she’s coming back from the grocery store. ( Balladeer: for, those who missed it, the Dukes quit farming, because of low profits, and more mouths to feed…. Damn inflation!) They pull up to the field. John climbs out of the car, and walks around to open Kylies door. He takes a blanket out of the back a boom box, handheld cb, and a six pack of Coke. They walk hand in hand, to the middle of the field. John spreads the blanket, on the ground. He tosses her a pack of smokes and a lighter. He chugs ½ a can of soda. “We’ll use this as an ashtrayâ€. John tells her. They sit down, on the blanket. “John, not to bring up a bad subject, but do you miss Alabama?†Kylie asks. “A bit, (he’s fumbling with the radio, to pull in the local station) but the farm was sold after my mom died, my grandparents died a few years ago, so I had no reason to stay. If I kept with my friends, I’d a been in prison, or the ground. They all ran shine, most of them got caught, and the one’s who didn’t went to work in the mill, for minimum wage. Neither, was a life that I wanted, so, I drove out here, to meet my father, and my new family. There got it (he got the radio fixed)â€. John tells her. The radio comes in clear, playing the newest Tim McGraw song. “Did, you run shine?†Kylie asks. “I took a few runs, with the money I made, went to keep us going, and to fix the mustang. I quit, after seeing a revenue agent, blow up my best friends car. He pulled out his gun, and shot the gas tank. He was so close to his car, that both him and my friend went up in flames. I decided then it was enough reason to stop.†John explains. “Are you on the runâ€, Kylie asks, as she lights up a cigarette. “No I made peace, with the sheriff, in Hueytown, he said that he knew that, we didn’t have any money, and had to make it somehow, so he gave me a fine. I paid it, then left town. The sheriff, was a nice guy, he never forgot what it was like to be poor. Enough of my sob story, how about you?†John tells her. “Well my father was a trucker, and my mom was a barmaid that worked with Daisy. They left for Arizona, and forgot to comeback, so I got sent to the orphanage. I went to school, with Jake. Daisy used to take me on Saturday afternoons, and get our hair done, watch movies. I even got to hang out with Bo and Luke, a few times. Then when I turned 18, I took a job in the hospital, in the maternity ward. That straightened me out. Then I tried to be good, but being a little young, you don’t make the right calls in life, and got my 2 idiots of ex boyfriends. (Kylie changes the subject trying not to tear up) You got it good, Bo is so cool, and Luke is nice, I just like to bust his chops a bit.†Kylie tells him. “Well one thing is sure, we both been put through hell, but heres to a new day. Maybe we can make heaven together.†John tells her. He leans in for a kiss. She backs him off. “Nobody kisses me unless they are my boyfriendâ€. Kylie warns. “You got it, just remember I am not like the other 2. I don’t hit women, and I don’t need a mother.†John warns her back. “You know that old song, ladies love outlaws? Waylon must of sung it about you. She whispers, as they lean in for a kiss. After about 30 seconds of kissing they break free. “You wanna come over for dinner, it is Daisy’s turn, so were in luck.†John asks. “Sounds like fun, lets radio in and find out what is for dinnerâ€. Kylie grabs the hand held, “Daisy, John and I are wondering, whats for dinner.†Kylie asks. “Ham, and fried potatoes, with macaroni salad.†Daisy replies. “Cool were on the wayâ€. John tells her. They bundle the stuff up and head back to the Admiral, and take off for the farm. As they pull up Jake and Luke are working on the Trans am, that Jake is driving in the race. John skids the car, by the hood of the classic Pontiac. “Jakey, what’s this, I thought you were my wheelmanâ€, John asks. “I was, but I just made enough money to get the entry fee, so, I’m racing the Trans am, and I have Bo jr. as my wheelman.†Jake tells him. “Oh well, one more car to pass, ain’t nothing†John then parks the Admiral, next to the General. He walks in holding the hand of Kylie. Daisy looks over, and notices, but doesn’t anything. Bo walks in from the living room, “Kylie, haven’t seen you in months looks like you and John are getting along.†“We are Bo, actually were going steady, “ Kylie, bursts out. John just blushes and shuffles his boots on the floor. “That was quick. Bo, why don’t you and John go and get me a loaf of bread at the storeâ€. Daisy says as she shoo’s them out. John and Bo, leave. They jump in the General, “there’s a loaf of bread on the table, why are we going to the store?†John asks in a confused tone. “That’s code for girl talk, and trust me you wont wanna be in the room, they are going to talk about you, Daisy is motherly that way. Don’t be worried, she is a pro at this. She broke in Beth, and Debbieâ€. Bo explains. “Kylie, John has been through a lot, be careful with him. He may seem like all car talk, but his heart isn’t nuts and bolts. You had it tough too, I know. But just remember, you both are damaged goods. So take it slow.†Daisy, tells her. “Oh, I know, he had it tough but I can handle him. I’ve seen his type before. But, I don’t wanna rush, the last time I rushed, look what happened.†The girls giggle. Meanwhile, while coming back from Rhuebottom’s, Bo told John the same thing. “John just take it easy with her, she’s like an old car, partially hurt, and in need of major tlcâ€. “I know, I plan to. The last one hit like a hurricane, an left just as much damage.†John tells Bo. They stop at the garage, to pickup some tools for the race tomorrow. “You ready for the race tomorrow, it’s gonna be a tough ride.†Bo asks. “I should be, the problem is I’ll need a wheel man though. Jake, and Jr, are running together, I was planning to take Jake. I need someone who knows the layout of the area better than me. I was thinking of asking Mace Davenport, but he has his own car, and Derrick Jones is with him. I really wouldn’t ask Kylie, because she isn’t hot on the idea of me racing, plus of something happens I’ll never forgive myself. It, looks like I might have to sit this one out. You and Luke, are running together, and Daisy, Beth, and Debbie are doing the concession.†John tells him. “John, tell me, do you and Jr. get along ok.?†Bo asks. “Well we seem to be ok, he really don’t talk to me much, I guess I been so focused on the car and the garage, I lost track, of people.†John tells him. They power slide into farm. They jump out the car, and walk in the house. “Where have you two been, dinner’s been waitinâ€. Debbie asks. “We, had to get bread, and leave for the Daisy’s speech to Kylieâ€. Bo tells her. They sit down for dinner. (Balladeer- the race is tomorrow, John needs a wheelman. The boy needs help.)
  11. I forgot about the monkee mobile, and the munster mobile. That would work better, just take out the rockford car, one of the others and there ya go
  12. Robot who? I thought it was a bad dance move, that got thru a few weddings
  13. (NO DISRESPECT MEANT!!!) I have a dream, of a car race The Ultimate race a 10 car field We have the most legendary cars In row 1 Bandit 1 and the Gran Torino, from starsky and hutch In row 2 Elenor, and the charger from Bullitt In row 3 the charger from the fast and furious and the camero from the rockford files In row 4 the batmobile and the movie batmobile in row 5 General Lee and Kitt Who would win the ultimate race.
  14. The normal probation for running shine is 3 years, (don't ask how I know). I have a hunch that it ended, when the boys joined the nascar circuit. (If they werent allowed to leave the county, then why when they came back, they didn't get violated.) Either that or it was a very liberal probation, but why would Boss let that happen. Or if it was for the full seven, they may have had more than one offence.
  15. I didn't say they werent good choices, I agree with willie as jesse. I just used that line to stop the why this and why that questions. Bo and Luke leave a little to be desired. I would of liked to have seen this for a cast and for a movie. Bo: Kid Rock Luke: Joquin Phoenix (The guy from ladder 49) or Shooter Jennings Daisy: Shannon Elizabeth Rosco: Jeff Bridges Enos: Jim Belishi Cooter: Travis Tritt Jesse: Willie Nelson Boss Hogg: Well, there isn't many short chubby actors.....But, little enos, from smokey and the bandit, (I'd like to kick them duke boys just once) Balladeer: Toby Keith. Music: Willie doing the theme. Use "In the Drivers seat", from the 1981 soundtrack, in the opening scenes. Storyline: The dukes lose the farm and the only way to get it back is to go back bootlegging. Make it a cross between, the Moonrunners, White Lightning, and Smokey and the Bandit. The timeframe would be within the first 5 episodes. The Dukes lose the farm, and since Boss, has them over a barrel, Jesse has to break his deal with the Goverment. The only thing is Boss, dont know that Jesse and the Boys are wearing a wire to set up Boss, to put him in jail. They have to start in Hazzard, and goto Birmingham.
  16. I had heard in an interview, the Bo was to be in his mid twenties. I also, remember from the happy b-day general, that daisy started the story, saying that luke was just home from the marines, and bo was just out of high school. Considering that Vietnam ended in 1975 (we assume he was in Vietnam, given the timeframe, there is no proof), that would mean that Luke was about 23, (if he was 27, when the show started in 1979), With Bo being just out of high school, he would be 17-18. The general was registered in 1976, (look at the licence plate), and Bo would had to have been 18-19. This was also 1976. He would had to have been 18, to be tried as an adult, for the shine running rap, and this was a year before the show started, (this is where it gets hazy again, in the first episodes, the boys were on probation for about a year, but in the happy b-day general show, they were just starting their probation which makes 3 years earlier again). So lets say they were on probation for a year, this would make 1978, so he was actually, 21 or 22. Confusin' aint it.
  17. The info, was taken from posts as well as interviews from joblo.com

  19. Dei, came in the top 5 last night. Considering the luck they been having that's a much needed shot in the arm. Down with the hendrick empire, Dei is coming, and there is nothin that can be done. With Jr. at the helm, things will be looking better. Go Dale jr.
  20. It is the most reconized car in television history. John Schneider, (Bo Duke), owns the last general lee anywhere, from 200 - 317 Dodge chargers were destroyed in the 7 year run. also, it is not just the 1969 model that was used, the warner bros. producers, used, 1968, and 1970 models, when the 1969 was not availble) Also, here is some background on the show it ran from 1979 - 1985 147 episodes It was a "spin-off", of a little known movie, The Moonrunners The show has a large cult following There is a "Dukes fest" annually, where fans display their own General Lees, cast and crew, take the stage. 21. t-7 tranny tan interior vector rims engines: 318 - 440, (even though the engine, was homemade) 12 note dixie horn roll cage/push bar Hope this helps you out
  22. I read the interviews, with sean, and johnny. Sean wants to put an american flag on the general. He compares Bo to Stifler. Oh no, were in trouble.
  23. I was watching the tv guide channel, yesterday. They had a behind the scene look at the movie, this is the info I got. 1), willie is singing the theme, and skynyrds, call me the breeze 2), him and jessica simpson are doing a duet, for the soundtrack 3), the movie is coming out in august. Since it is on cable, this is basically confirming alot of the rumors.
  24. no slight towards you meant jbama. Just trying to make a point, to the other bama
