(Thank you Kitt Kat for your unique assistance.) Dixie sped toward the location that Rosco had advised, the radio playing a required KHOGG advertisement. There was dynamite, Jesse’s pellet shotgun over the kitchen archway, bows and arrows. Plus all the goodies in and around the barn that made chores easier. So if the two criminals did change their mind and follow the white CJ – 7, Daisy and herself might be able to handle the situation. “I wonder what's going on?†Daisy questioned. "Rosco sounded real serious 'bout them fellas." "They looked like bad news to me. That's why I called the Sheriff." Daney paused. "Seemed to me like those two were hiding something." "Like what?" "I don't know. Remember that CB call Brian made earlier? It was weird....like there was an emergency but he didn't want to say what it was over the air." "There's a connection, isn't there," Daisy said worriedly. "Has to be," Daney nodded. "Rosco told us to go to the farm, though. That's what we're going to do." Daisy eyed her cousin suspiciously. "You didn't promise Rosco anything about staying there, did you." "Nope." As they neared the farm, the Jeep radio started playing "Devil Went Down to Georgia." Daney hummed along. (cue Brian/Fargo/Anderson or MaryAnne/Rosco!)

Having absolutly nothing to do to Hazzard....
DaneyDuke replied to pendragon1980's topic in General Discussion
Dear Pendragon, best wishes and take care. Take it easy =) -
Hazel eyes flickered between the two men riding their separate ways. Attention turned to the town’s law officers walking up to the still alive Chet. Why couldn’t the little rascal have just been patient for once? She didn’t wait for a verdict on his condition. Chatter of folks discussing what to do now sounded where mayhem had been moments before. Shakily, she went to where Examiner was. She undid the reins. Maybe this was a crazy thing to do but she decided to follow the one who had tried to be nice to Chet in the saloon. His actions had been so vivid and precise, like a painter working on a masterpiece. If it wasn’t for him being in that time and place, who knew what Chet and the rogues would’ve done. Happy that his mistress had returned, Exam broke into a trot before Daney could stop him. A weary smile came over her lips. She grabbed a handful of crushed hay from the ground, then ran toward the brown stallion. He galloped away. His movement and a hot wind tousled his hair. Daney walked slowly. By the time she caught up with Exam, the hay had been dropped. She looked curiously at the Morgan staring down. Carefully, she retrieved a pair of gloves from the saddle bag, preceded along Exam’s left side. Examiner’s right hoof kicked the square material, tossing it for his owner to catch. He tilted his head. Big brown eyes saw her amused expression at his find. He rested his head on her left shoulder. The damp bandana was in her right hand. Daney’s posture tensed at the implication that the dark haired man had been injured. He hadn’t done anything wrong and that was the thanks he was given? (cue Chance Walker)

Daney saw Rosco and some other familar folks coming down the street as Brian led the other two fellas away. (cue Garrett or Val)

"Yeah," Daney nodded. She looked over to Brian and Alex after speaking. Chet was probably going to escape when the three walked out of the place. She turned her head and stared at Chet. "If you try to escape, you'll never see Red again." (Cue Chance or Min)

“The Sheriff didn’t specify a preference, darling.†Daisy replied. Daney stepped up behind the handsome black clad man, his blond companion and Chet. Daney silently laid a wrinkled paper on the counter. "You may find this of some assitance in your decision, sir." She answered respectfully.

Allright, I guess I'll be the first to post here.
DaneyDuke replied to Eddiemunster's topic in The Patrol Cars
The first episode had a 1974 Dodge Monaco. Cooter flipped a 1970 Dodge Polara. After that episode... 1975 AMC Matador, 1977 Dodge Monaco, and 1978 Plymouth Fury. You know this would be a good trivia question, Deputy. =) -
"1,000 dollars." Daisy recited the amount that Rosco had told her in the alley. She looked at Brian, Alex and Chet.

Anderson chuckled listening to Fargo speak with the woman called Daisy. Now, he understood that his partner was only trying to see if he could get any information about Riddick, the Sheriff from her or the passenger seat chick. When the loose wire fixed, he smiled and echoed Fargo’s courtesy goodnight to the two. Fargo waved as the jeep sped off. He hadn’t learned anything new but that was alright. A crooked grin appeared on his face. He began to walk with Anderson back to their vehicle. Down the road and away from the two strangers, Daney picked up Dixie’s cb mic and pressed the talk button. “Sheriff Rosco, there was two city fellas askin’ about you and Riddick just now...†(open cue)

and rolled to a stop when the driver saw a female standing on side of the road. She stepped to the passenger side and hazel eyes looked over the front seat occupants. “You fellas lost?†Daisy asked. “No,†Fargo spoke gruffly. He left the keys in the ignition. The engine idled down. “Oh,†Daisy smiled. “Then you wouldn’t mind helping me fix my vehicle over there…†She pointed to a white Jeep. “Just take a coupla minutes.†“We don’t have time-†Anderson’s answer was cut short by a stare from Fargo. They exchanged looks for a moment. Fargo exited the Camaro and followed the brunette woman. Anderson also got out of the vehicle when it appeared that Fargo was motioning him over. He walked slowly. “What is that smell?†He wondered out loud. “It’s fresh air,†Daney called politely from her seat in the jeep. “So where you fellas headed too?†Neither Fargo or Anderson replied. “I think it might be a loose wire or something…†Daisy patted the jeep’s hood. She glanced over her shoulder and wondered if this was such a good idea. “We’ll check it out.†Fargo and Anderson agreed.

Sway/Cameron Morrison, Who exactly was it that you spoke to at Cooter’s Place that gave you the information? What websites did you go to for research? Thank you, Daney

Your welcome, Rob. =) It’s possible that someone made that shirt themselves; did you see more than one person with it? http://www.buildagenerallee.com/shirts.html has one similar to what you describe but I can’t guarantee it is the exact one. Try this site, http://www.confederategeneralleefanclub.com . Or you could buy a white “01†t shirt from http://www.cafeshops.com/hazzardnet and get it dyed orange.

Daney was on her way to the Sheriff’s Office to find MaryAnne or Rosco when the unmistakable sound of walnuts shattered the quietness of the night. Pistachio not filberts, she mused. Examiner stopped with the gentle nudge of his rider’s boots into his silky brown sides. Concerned that it might be Daisy in trouble, Daney urged him to go. Hazel eyes widened at the sight of two unknown women on a gray mustang. A leather whip in pieces. A black clad figure with a gun atop a beautiful black horse. The young man from the paper she had given the Sheriff lay on the ground. Quietly, Examiner made a wide path until he and his brunette rider were in back of the mustang and came to a stop on its left side. Daney took a deep breath. She looked at the two women. She glanced to the mustang’s rider injured hand. (Note for Kristy: My apologizes, Jax's post changed after this one was made. )

A thick cloud of coal smoke wavered in the direction of a figure standing on the depot’s platform. Daney lifted a hand and picked the bridge of her nose with her index finger and thumb from the pungent smell. Her other hand still held the Morgan’s reins. Click Clank Whoo… Whoo… A freight train pulled away from the station. The whistle sounded louder than the engine’s steam hissing and the cars moving along the narrow gauge rails. She had been passing gas when the sight of work men loading a horse into one of boxes caught her attention. Having already taken three similar Thoroughbreds back to the livery stables at the Sheriff’s request, the detective messenger had a feeling that Chet Duke had been sold out by his own gang. The train’s noise became just an echo in Daney’s ears. Clink Clank… She used the platform to her advantage in getting back on Examiner. Clip Clop… Examiner walked around the building. Daney leaned forward and hugged his neck gently, whispered instructions. She straightened in the saddle and Examiner skipped trotting and cantered into the darkness backwards toward town. She wondered how everyone else was doing. (edited to take a dupilcate line out.)

In that crowd, Bo and Luke nodded to each other. The star on Chet’s horse’s nose and the marking on it’s left back leg gave the young man’s disguise away. The two smiled and reached for their rope lariats laying coiled over their boots. They were not pleased that Chet had pushed the Sheriff like he was some outlaw wanna be. Rosco deserved a lot more respect than he had been given. Rosco had told Bo and Luke not to worry about it. But they were, what if Chet decided to disrespect more folks? (cue Kristy or Garrett Duke!!!)

Has anyone else tried it out yet? My opinion is that it's better than AIM and yahoo chatrooms.
