Forgot to mention the wife's surgery Monday went well. Hopefully she heals up great and we can get back to living a full adventurous life again.

NASCAR officials probably noticed it during one of the many wrecks. As for Joey Logano's gloves I don't see the point of penalizing him as he most likely wasn't the only one wearing them during Daytona 500 qualifying. And the video they released on Twitter is so low quality that you can't tell the difference from a regular glove.

One bad thing about owning a sports sedan is people want to stop light race....a lot , especially when the lanes merge down to 1 lane. Tuesday I almost got ran off the road by one of these clowns. I just got lucky that the light turned green as I was coming up to the light so I just kept going the speed limit but apparently this jerk in a Lincoln wasn't happy and floored his SUV and as I was making my way over in front of him he put it right next to me and since there was oncoming traffic I slammed on the brakes so no one would get hit head on by that idiot. This clown was amused by this when I caught up to him at the next stop light. Really your amused at almost causing a head on collision and running someone else off the road. I was so mad at their selfishness and ignorance but remembered the local road rage shooting that happened a few weeks ago so I let bygones be bygones.

That car is actually a Holden Caprice, long wheel base version of the Commodore/G8. GM imported them as Chevy Caprice's for police departments from 2011-17. Police departments could order 9C1 or 9C3 packages, 9C3 was the detective package with cloth or leather seats instead of plastic rear seat. They came with either the 3.6L V6 or 6.0L V8. The V8 Caprice was the only vehicle to pass all the CHP speed and handling testing. So if you ever find a 9C3 spec Caprice at a police auto auction buy it.

Did Toyota buy Fox Sports, seems like they've been mentioning Toyota almost every other minute. Wish there was a local MRN station so I could just mute these clowns and listen to some decent play by play.

Cup race looks like it's going to go on as scheduled today but Xfinity race has been postponed once again to 9pm after the jet dryers crashed while drying the track off before the race. I get the feeling this is going to be a long NASCAR season of goof ups.

They don't, it's a 2009 model year. Only 35k miles though and it still had the new car smell. I cringed when my mechanic said what Pontiac used to stand for lol.

Enjoy this season as it will probably be the last that has an actual car body. There won't be a Camaro for 2025 and GM as well as Ford want to race "CUV's because that's what they mostly make anymore.
