  1. Hey y'all, just a thought but we can create a forum here at HNet for role playing too. And it can be restricted role playing with just the original characters too (as opposed to the open ended format of the RRs). It would be up to whoever starts the RP to keep folks in line but remember the Mods are available to come in and lay down the law. Would you guys like me to create a forum for y'all? Just say the word!!
  2. *as if on cue, one brown haired female deputy walks in with her cousin Sheriff right behind her. Literally. She stops to look around and Rosco runs smack into her* "Ooof!" *turns to Rosco* "Jit-jit!" "Sorry. That's my line by the way." *Rosco says with mock complaint. He glances around and sees Alex and Brian. And Doc as well.* "The gang's all here." "Yep, so they are." *walks over to Alex and Brian, openly* "Howdy there. Find a table, have a seat. We'll give ya the lowdown."
  3. After a year hiatus, the HNet fanfic archive has an update! Two stories from Doug Fowler! http://www.hazzardnet.com/index.php/10
  4. Well that settles that then! Awrighty, now we got that settled, I guess I better go feed them horses. They're gonna be here for awhile yet...
  5. Hey y'all! I made a slide show of vid caps from the first five eps of the Dukes set to the song "Georgia On My Mind." A tribute to where it all started. Take a look! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JeDbXFTi0SA
  6. Given the way the strike is going, you'll be waiting until hell freezes over for that pay raise. Come to think of it, just like all those striking writers, you too can be replaced. So go ahead and strike.... I'd recommend either option 2 or...yes, even 3. Getting you to take option 1 would be out of character. I don't suppose it would be possible to get back to work while still engaging in nonesense?
  7. Wow, talk about having power. We as mods/admins can be so utterly obnoxious and nobody can ignore us!! Muhahahahahhahahaha!!! I can't imagine why anyone would want to ignore Brian tho'...
  8. *thinks about how much to reveal over the radio. Decides that the less that is spoken, the better.* "Bear and I are on our way back to town now, once he leaves off his car we can pick up that other one. Meet us at the Boar's Nest."
  9. A parade sounds like a wonderful idea! Yes, Brian can mess with my posts. But I think he forgets that I can mess with his. Hey Brian, why don't you write up all that news for the front page of HNet that you've been meaning to do for the past four days or so instead of contributing to the deliquency of the entire town? And Roger...I'll admit Maudine can kick some butt. She's kicked Rosco's a few times. I think instead of kicking these four horses I've got in waiting (they ain't city horses), she can kick Brian's butt! Get to work, Brian. You lazy black clad slacker!
  10. Hmmm....would I? I dunno. I actually had something different in mind, thus my requirement for four horses.... Like a nice parade float. I could decorate my patrol car, put it in neutral and have the horses pull it down the road, while I toss candy out of the car windows.
  11. Interesting to note that political debates on the Colbert Report and my having to motivate you to do any work around here sometimes look the same... Roger suggested Osage County. But they do serve the Alpo. I mean, why else would Droopy Cathcarte look like a bloodhound? Daney suggested something about not dragging this matter out further. Contraire! I think I can find four horses to keep on retainer...
  12. *After picking up MaryAnne's patrol car, she and Rosco were on their way back to town, the two Plymouth Fury's moving along at a brisk clip. MaryAnne picked up her mike and answered* *there was relief in the deputy's voice* "This is Songbird, I read you."
  13. I have a pic. (Actually Mufn made this screencap a few years ago. Khee!)
  14. If it's the scene I'm thinking of it's from the episode Too Many Rosco's which was from the...er....sixth season? (Somebody wanna check me on that?)
  15. Howdy Chris, welcome to HNet!
  16. Brian, are you harrassin and annoyin' the regulars AGAIN?! What did I tell you last time? Sheesh! Keep this up and you'll be playing the Folsum Prison Blues on your harmonica in the Sing Sing orchestra....
  17. May I also add...Bonjour! Welcome to HNet!
  18. Welcome to HNet! We have Dukes fans from far flung parts of the globe, Amelia, but like Roger said, Hazzard is as close as your computer (Or your DVD player. Khee!). I think it's great how the Dukes have an international appeal.
  19. Howdy enosgal! Ya made it in! =) Welcome to HNet. Khee!
  20. BAHAHAHAHA!! You'd have been better off to let sleeping bassett hounds lie. Khee!
  21. Yep, ol' Brian does not *sings* walk (with personality), talk (with personality), smile (with personality), charm (with personality)... I'm not? It is? You're easily goaded into just about anything, Brian.
  22. "What the heck is he comin' this way for---GAAAH!!!" *slams brakes on Firebird and turns wheel to the right* *Jack slams brakes on patrol car and turns wheel to his right, putting the driver's sides of both vehicles facing one another* *once the dust settles, the lieutenant looks at the deputy* "Now I'm begining to understand why you had such a hard time with traffic lights in Atlanta!" "Oh hush! We have vehicular laws here, and you just broke about 40 of 'em! The worst of which is you stole my patrol car." "I commandeered it." *Rosco, at this point, has joined the conversation standing on the otherside of Maverick* "Shoot heck, he can actually pronounce the word?" "Look," MaryAnne continued, "I'm sorry your car got stolen. That was my idea, it was a prank. We'll get it back and we'll get you on your way--" "Oh I'm not hanging around here just because my car got stolen. I came to Hazzard with a purpose and I'm not leaving until I do what I came here to do." "Which is?" Rosco asked. "I already told you. Justice is demanding payment and I'm here to collect. Now if you two want to bust me for taking your patrol car, go ahead. You can try and delay justice for your cousin, but you'll never deny it." "Yeah, well maybe only a just justice can never be denied. As for right now, you stole my patrol car, you are now going to have to deal with a little small town justice." *puts Firebird in reverse and backs up, allowing Rosco to step in to place Lieutenant Morrison under arrest*
  23. You both have some of the best Rosco/James Best pics I've ever seen. Plymouth77, where did you find most of your photos? I especially like the candid "behind the scenes" type shots taken on the set of the Dukes.
