That's basically why I made it these colors. High contrast, but a bit easier on the eyes. That said, if there are enough people who would like a lighter theme, I can create one and allow people to choose which one they want.

I'm going to be doing some Spring cleaning around here, so if I break anything, let me know. 😂
Also, if you have suggestions for topics or forums that no longer serve a purpose and should be deleted, post links in comments here. (Or PM me!)

Hey y'all, there are some new features with the latest version of the forum software AND there will be even more features coming with version 5. I thought I'd open a topic to highlight some of them.
In the very right of the forum menu, you'll see a new link for Clubs. Registered members who are no longer on probation (we moderate a number of posts before you get off probation in order to keep the spamming to a minimum) can create their own clubs and invite members to join. Keep it family friendly, of course. Let me know what you all think of the new feature. As I find out what's in the next upgrade, I'll post more about it here.

To me, it wouldn't feel like HazzardNet with a different color scheme.

I'm not sure what I could add, especially considering everybody here knows as much or more than I do but if I think  of something I'll add it on!

Instructions if you're on a laptop or desktop: If you search on Bing and you find a video that's on YouTube, in the lower right hand corner of the video (to the right of the gear), there's "YouTube". Hover over that and it says "Watch on YouTube". Click on that, it will take you to YouTube, once the video starts playing, you can either copy the URL from the browser address bar or right click on the video and click "Copy video URL". Then just past that into your comment in the forums and the video should show up.

There have been studies showing that smart people prefer to watch shows with thought-provoking content. I think Scooby Doo and Dukes of Hazzard qualify, don't you?

Got ya. I was little, but I remember my dad getting upset every time I would wear out the front wheels so quickly. He was also proud, I could outrun all the kids in the area. I was Bo on those big wheels, in a neighborhood full of Rosco's. 
I went through so many. My favorite ones all had the hand break on the rear wheel allowing you to do power slides. 
My dad bought me a battery powered siren that he installed on every one except the General. Man those were good times!!!

As I mentioned on the previous page, it would also have been my mother's birthday today, so I've been remembering her.

Cool. I wouldn't  mind audio but no video. I wouldn't want people to be disappointed that I don't  look like Uncle Jesse. Um, what am I saying? I really do look like Jesse. I just wouldn't want all my rugged handsomeness distracting people from the episode.

Would anyone be interested in having episode watch parties? I can't promise any sort of frequency, but I would love to re-watch the series again with you guys. If you're interested, comment with the days of the week and times that are best for you and I'll try to schedule something that works for the majority. I might be able to schedule a second viewing for folks across the pond. I would also like some volunteers to test things out with me on the website we'll be using.

Hoss and I (mostly Hoss  ) have been working behind the scenes to build a Dukes of Hazzard wiki. If you would like to contribute any information that may be missing, make suggestions, or correct any erroneous info you might find, post about it in this forum.
