"Er no I uh...I heard that all from Cooter. Said he over heard you and Lizzy talking about it one day." Luke says.

"I'll take your word for it." Lizzy says.

"Don't worry about it Daisy, I'm sure he'll be happy just to have another child so don't worry too much about what he'll think of the name." Lizzy says.

"I'm sure he'll be alright with it. If you spell it e-y instead of i-e it makes it a girls name." Lizzy says.

"I so hope you're right." Lizzy says.

"But surely you know what Lizzy's looking for in a guy." Bo says. "Bo leave her alone. That's your job to find out what Lizzy wants without hurting our cousin about it. Look if you really want to know then get Lizzy a bouquet of Lilac and Rose colored carnations." Luke says entering the room. "Rose colored?" Bo asks. "It's like a pink. If she knows what it means then she just might start believing you." "What does it mean?" "Lilac means sincere love without asking anything in return and Rose means a new love and admiration besides what girl doesn't like getting flowers. Just don't add chocolate. The flowers are enough." Luke says.

"That's so sweet." Lizzy says.

"That makes me feel so much better. Luke do you think we can make it through?" Lizzy asks.

"I have never lied to get into a girl's pants. Stretched the truth maybe but never flat out lied to them. And I haven't been with every girl in Hazzard. Maybe inside the city limits but not the county and only a few of them lived in Atlanta. Daisy you know her best how can I make her see I'm telling the truth?" Bo asks. He really seemed as if he was pleading.

"Cause it'll push you away right?" Lizzy asks.

"Why should I have to? Isn't it enough that I love her? I mean...why would she make such a vow with no prompting surely something must have happened to her." Bo says.

"Are you saying that it's a bad thing?" Lizzy asks.

"What if it's a boy?" Lizzy asks. "You know in case the doctors are wrong?"

Lizzy sighs thinking about why she wouldn't give in to Bo. Sure she had a stubborn streak a mile long with she only slightly passed on to Daisy and Julie, she had a feeling they got it more from Bo, but then she remembered Adam Sigler and Jack Grant. Both of which she had dated in high school. Nine months with Adam and 7 1/2 with Jack. Both boys treated Lizzy as if she was the only girl in the world but towards the end began pushing hard for her to sleep with them. Adam had used the excuse that he loved her and if she loved him she'd do it. Jack had told her that sleeping with him would earn her rights that she had never had before. As it turned out both boys had cheated on her for about two months before she ended it. Adam had been caught behind the football stadium bleachers with his hands all over another girl and Jack had admitted to it when she finally punched him for suggesting it too much. From then on Lizzy vowed never to believe a guy when he couldn't back up what he was saying when it came to love.

"Oh alright." Lizzy agrees. She and Daisy talk for a bit longer before she has to leave. After leaving the hospital Lizzy drives to her father's garage only to find Luke talking to Cooter. "Hey Dad, hey Luke." Lizzy says. "Lizzy." They both answer. "Hey Lizzy can we talk for a minute?" Luke asks. Lizzy nods and walks into the office with Luke right behind her. "I've talked to Daisy, Bo, and Cooter and now I want to hear it from you." "Hear what?" "Your reason for turning Bo down." "That's between me and him." "You mean between you, him, Daisy, and Cooter." "Fine you probably already know, I'm scared that he's only after me because I'm the only girl in Hazzard that he hasn't had yet." "You know that ain't true that boy is totally smitten with you." "Smitten or not that doesn't change the fact that I'm the only one he hasn't had." "That's not true either." "Yes it is. I'll give you a week to find a girl who has not slept with or been on at least one date with Bo Duke. He's been with every girl in the city and even some outside the limits that go to Hazzard high." "There's something else you're scared of." "Yeah I'm scared he only wants in my pants Luke. I'm not that kind of girl Luke and you both know it. You know that most girls still look for that fun flirtation, the easy going friendliness, and that I'm one of them. I want to know that everything's being driven by love and not by that urge to get in my pants." Lizzy says. "You're not going to believe me are you? That he's in love with you?" Luke asks. "No, I know he says he is and that Dad said he's alright with it but...I want to know it's genuine and it really does come from his heart." "Interesting. Well I guess I should be going. I've got to go see Daisy and Julie before I have to get back to the farm. Just try not to completely shut Bo out. He does love you even if you don't want to see it." Luke says before hugging her and leaving.

"Because he loves you. You know that he does. But you know it wouldn't be that way with Bo." Lizzy says.

"I want to I really do but I'm scared that his charm will be driven by his want to get in my pants and not by his love. I want that fun flirtation, the easy going friendliness, I want what you have everything's driven by love and I'm scared it's not gonna be that way." Lizzy says.

"Well I was talking to Luke the other day and he was talking about how not everyone finds that once in a life time love. You're among the ones that do and that makes you one of the lucky ones." Lizzy says.

"I guess that makes you one of the lucky ones." Lizzy says.

"Daisy you're happy with Enos right?" Lizzy asks.

"Well that's a nice feeling but I doubt the doctor would agree with that." Lizzy says.

Lizzy left her house the next morning in high spirits and found herself in Daisy's room. "Hey Daisy how are you feeling?" Lizzy asks.

The girls were moved the next morning to Hazzard county hospital. Slowly the days and weeks pass and it's been about four weeks since the girls got put in the hospital. Jim and George were charged with kidnapping a federal officer, abuse, neglect, torture and three other counts of kidnapping and one intent to rape. The charges stuck and they were serving sentences of 20 years in prison a piece. Lizzy had slowly been coming back to her normal self with the help of her family and friends. Cooter and Bo had dropped by every chance they got and today was the day Lizzy was to be released. The psychologist seemed a little iffy on it but the doctor saw no reason to continue holding the girl so Cooter dropped by after work and took Lizzy home where she collapsed on her bed and breathed in the the scent of her pillows before running out back and firing up her four wheeler.
