  1. "Then you shouldn't have to worry about him. I can only imagine the pain you went through that night and why you're still scared but you don't have to forgive him. Sometimes it's better to just brush it off and forget it than actually forgive someone." Jeb says.
  2. "You had a point. I may have overdone it a bit but I'm trying to make up for seven years of loss with my daughter. I'm sorry too; for upsetting you." Jeb says.
  3. "I guess that would be ok. I mean I've never been shopping with anyone but my best friend before and when ever I invited my adoptive mom to go she would spend hours on herself and it wasn't much fun." Kayle says. "Oh...I can assure you Daisy and I have tons of fun even if we don't get a lot. But I can understand if you just want this to be you and your mom this time." Lizzy says.
  4. "Are you sure you want me to go? I'm sure if you want it to be just you and Kayle the guys could find my help useful. I don't really have to go if you don't really want me to. I won't be offended." Lizzy says.
  5. "What do you say tomorrow you and I go shopping Mom." Kayle suggests. "Why not I'll bring Jeb over here and with Enos and Chad helping I'm sure we can handle the five kids." Lizzy says.
  6. "I'm sorry that you think that Mrs. Strate and I don't know how much of that you heard but I meant everything I said. One day I'm gonna make sure everyone I care about is taken care of just like Jeb is trying to do." Chad says.
  7. "Follow me." Kayle says. "And be quiet." Lizzy looks at Daisy but shrugs as the two of them follow Kayle back to April's nursery. "Hey there sweetheart you know one day I promise I'm gonna make things good for you and your momma. I'll by you a big old house in the country and a couple horses and ponies and a few doggies just for you and I'm gonna make sure one day that your grandparents are taken care of too. I just have to wait until I can get enough money. Your uncle Jeb says the motorbike races bring in a lot of cash though. I hope he's right. You just wait one day when I have enough I'm gonna make this all better for everyone. I promise you little girl." Chad says gently laying April back in her crib. He turns around and jumps a bit. "You scared me."
  8. "But Chad's not like Walker. Chad loves me and you should see him when he's alone with April. He honestly loves her. I'm sorry I've been ignoring you and all but it's hard being 16 and being a mom. I'm so sorry." Kayle says.
  9. "Is that what you really think of him? A Fonzie wanna be?" Kayle asks unable to hold her silence anymore.
  10. Glancing over her shoulder at Kayle for a second Lizzy shakes her head before sitting next to Daisy and wrapping an arm around her. "I'm sure she's just confused Daisy. I know she loves you with all of her heart." Lizzy says.
  11. "Surely you don't mean that Daisy." Lizzy says as Jeb scoops up Heather and takes her out of the room.
  12. "Can I help it I want to give her the world?" Jeb asks. "He also promised me a baby brother or sister one day." Heather says. "Jeb Stewart Duke!" Lizzy says angrily. "If you don't make good on every promise you just made your daughter I will tar, feather, draw, and quarter you do you understand me?"
  13. "To the uh...the petting zoo, and then the movies, and then the amusement park and the circus and the water park and the beach and, and, and..." Heather says. "Jeb Stewart Duke you had better start explaining why you promised my daughter the world when you know I can't afford it." Lizzy says. "He also promised to take us to the Nascar races and the motorbike races and over the summer if I'm real good he'll take us to see these huge waterfalls and the best part Aunt Daisy is Mama's coming with us." Heather says. "Jeb." Lizzy warns.
  14. "Daddy took me and Momma to the zoo and bought me this giraffe. And tomorrow guess where we're going." Heather says.
  15. Hey I've got to go I'll talk to you later.

  16. "Which doesn't make any sense either because she was only like two months pregnant when I had Matt five months ago." Lizzy says.
