Lizzy comes back out with damp hair and a clean face wearing the dress. "Oh hey Elly. I always hated this part of the process." Lizzy says sitting at the vanity. -
"Yeah now you can't get into trouble." Kayle says.

"I promise Daisy. You know her best." Jeb sighs.

"You saying she ain't ready?" Jeb asks.

"Why not?" Jeb asks. "It's about time I put a claim on the woman I've loved for ten years."

"Jeb Duke, what's up?" Jeb answers.

"What do you mean?" Kayle asks.

"I don't think Aunt Lizzy's ready for that. Maybe you should call and tell him not to. Maybe that he should just ask her to be his girlfriend as weird as it sounds and wait till she's ready. I don't think he wants to be embarrassed that she says no." Kayle says.

"The invitation will always be open, don't argue with me." Lizzy says before leaving the room to go shower. "Mom is Jeb going to propose tonight?" Kayle asks when she hears the water turn on.

"Hey we all need to be a bit selfish at times and I would love to have her over. You're family and that's what family's do for each other." Lizzy says. "And what do you mean a night like this?"

"Are you sure Kayle? I mean I would be glad to babysit and so would your Uncle Jesse. It's too beautiful I don't want to ruin it." Lizzy says.

"Kayle this is gorgeous but I don't think I can borrow it." Lizzy says.

"He better not." Lizzy warns running her hand over the blue satin.

"I know. Show me what you got." Lizzy says. "Oh and Daisy if I find out that he's proposing tonight and you knew but didn't warn me I will hurt you severely. However I doubt that he would seeing as how this is our first official date in seven years." Kayle hands over the dress and Lizzy is stunned.

Lizzy cringes but knows that it's kind of expected for a night like this one.

"No hard feeling's Dais. It's the way life is. He's always been more of a pessimist than I have." Lizzy says.

They go back to Cooter's and when they reach there they meat up with Kayle. "So where exactly is he taking you Aunt Lizzy?" She asks. "That new Italian place. That real fancy one." Lizzy says.

"Daisy he's got a point. Both of us know Bo got the nickname Heartbreaker of the County for a reason. Am I scared that it will happen to me? Absolutely but I'm not gonna let it control me. I'm living in the moment and Dad's doing that as well but he can see a future neither of us wants to consider. I thank him for his input and kindly tell him to stay out of it." Lizzy says.

"Oh alright, well then lets go." Lizzy says.

"That's not what I said Daisy. He makes her happier than I've ever seen her which is why I'm gonna stay out of it but there's still gonna be part of me that thinks she'll get dumped by the heartbreaker of Hazzard county. I don't it to happen because I want them to stay together but there is a chance." Cooter says.

"The more the merrier. Did you see if Elly would?" Lizzy says.

"I know and that's what makes it an irrational fear but...until the day they say I do or they break up amicably I'm gonna fear it every day." Cooter says.

"Can't help it. I don't like seeing you hurt." Lizzy says.

"I don't hate her decision, I know she loves him I'm just scared like she was that she'll get hurt." Cooter says. "It's an irrational fear but it's still a fear."
