"So this third cousin of yours where is she?" Lizzy asks. -
"Why do you sound upset?" Enos asks.

"Are you sure? I love you with all of my heart Luke and I could never cheat on you." Lizzy says running her hand through his hair.

"Yeah but you know Lizzy can be stubborn as well. It's gonna take a lot to push her away." Enos says.

"Just someone who owed me a favor." Lizzy says kissing Luke's cheek. "Now let's go see about this little girl shall we."

"They make a good couple don't they." Enos says wrapping his arms around Daisy.

"Luke is it really that important?" Lizzy questions taking his hand.

"Luke just drop it." Lizzy sighs.

"Thank ya kindly Daisy." Lizzy says as Jeb carries Heather to the car.

"It doesn't matter." Lizzy says but follows Luke anyway.

Lizzy slips out of Salena's room and seeing the hallway empty she dials the number she shouldn't know by heart but does anyway. "You said if I ever needed anything...I hate to do this but I need you to go get another couple dozen blue sleepers and a couple more things of diapers. She had twins." Lizzy says. "I thought you were prepared for that." The man answers. "We were but we never expected two boys. If you hadn't noticed aside from Matt all of the Duke kids are girls. Most of the colors we bought were neutral but I'd like her to have a few boys things." Lizzy says. "Alright I'll drop them by the house." "Thanks Hughie." "Not a problem." Hughie hangs up the phone and sighs.

Soon Heather crawls into Jeb's lap rubbing her eyes and clutching her stuffed giraffe. "Sleepy Daddy." Heather says softly. "That must mean it's time to get her home." Jeb says.

Jeb sighs not liking how protective his cousin is of Lizzy but know that the protectiveness came with the package.

"I'm not trying to hurt her Daisy I just want her so bad I'm having a hard time waiting." Jeb says. Before either of them could say any more they heard Lizzy calling. "Daisy, Jeb are you coming?" Lizzy called.

"That's because it's his turf and he's not used to have to put up with another male on it. He'll settle eventually I bet all you have to do is get them to talk. Why don't we try some of that now and I'll go fix up some tea." Lizzy says. When Daisy nods Lizzy goes inside. Right before Daisy reaches the door Jeb catches her arm. When he's sure Lizzy's not eavesdropping he speaks "I will have Lizzy, not as my girlfriend but as my fiancee in the next three weeks whether you think it's too soon or not. I don't mean to be harsh Daisy but I love that woman and I'm not a real patient man. When I think she's ready I'm gonna propose and make us a proper family." Jeb says.

"Don't let him get to you Daisy. He's out of your life now for as long as you want him to be. It'll be ok you've got Enos and he's the best a woman can ever ask for." Lizzy says.

"You're not stupid. You're worried and you're right. Don't worry. I will never completely trust that man ever." Lizzy answers.

Lizzy just stands there with her arms folded watching Walker silently. "I've got to get going kiddo but if you ever need anything you let me know. You have my number." Walker says giving her a short one armed hug.

"We're headed back to Texas in the morning, we're needed there. Your forgiveness means a lot and I'm not gonna pressure you or Kayle into anything." Walker says.

"I'm not expecting your forgiveness Daisy. I'm just telling you that I regret and apologize for everything I put you through the entire time I've known you. I know Kayle and April are better off here with you and I'm not gonna try to make them move." Walker says.

Walker shifted uncomfortably and rubbed the back of his neck. "I wanted to appologize to you for all I put you through." Walker says.
