She was on the phone with Lizzy who was trying to calm her down.

"It's not your fault Ms. Duke. Things like this happen sometimes." The doctor says.

Eventually Daisy was released from the hospital and Lizzy had to go back to Atlanta as Daisy went home to plan the rest of her wedding.

The doctor comes back and injects something into Lizzy's IV and then Lizzy slowly drifts off. "What did you do to her?" Bo asks angrily. "We've sedated her. It kills her pain while she sleeps. We're gonna take her in for x-rays just to make sure she hasn't jarred something and it's pressing on her lungs." The doctor says.

"It's not your fault Daisy. It's Danny's and he's gonna pay for it." Lizzy says.

Bo looked at Daisy worriedly but looked back at Lizzy with a concerned face.

"No stay...it just hurts." Lizzy says. Bo comes back with a nurse and she checks Lizzy over. She disappears and comes back with a doctor shortly. "Ms. Davenport...because of your reaction to morphine we can't give you any more right now." The doctor says. "Then give me something else. It hurts." Lizzy says. "Fine we'll look into it." The doctor says leaving.

"It's not your fault Daisy...Bo can you get me a nurse." Lizzy says.

"It's alright." Lizzy says taking slow breaths.

"Daisy easy off." Lizzy says slowly moving her arms. "It's these broken ribs. The doctors have lowered my medication to the bare minimum because of it's effect on me. It hurts."

"How could I ever hate you?" Lizzy asks with tears in her eyes.

"Settle what?" Lizzy asks.

Last night I had a dream that he was going to leave me pregnant and alone." Lizzy says.

"Mornin' Daisy. I had a really strange dream last night. Do you know if Bo's enlisted?" Lizzy asks.

Lizzy continues to sit and watch wondering if something bad was going to happen again.

When Lizzy wakes up that morning she sees Daisy sleeping in a chair and knows that it really isn't that comfortable but is touched that her best friend would do all that for her.

They talked for a little while longer before the nurse asked Bo to leave. Lizzy really didn't want him to go but she knew that if she put up a fight the nurse would get a doctor and he'd ban overnight stays completely so she sorta agreed. Bo sighed and kissed Lizzy's forehead before leaving the room. Once out of the hospital Bo decided to go see if Cooter could give him some advice. He found Cooter in his barn with one of Lizzy's horses. "Hey Coot." Bo said. "Hey Bo. We should talk." Cooter answers. "About what?" "My daughter is truly one of a kind. Most of the time she says what she's thinking and there really is no filter between her head and her mouth but other times she'll...She'll try to test you even if she doesn't mean it. She did it today when she said she wanted you to leave. She didn't honestly mean it." Cooter says. "How do you know that?" "Was she looking at you when she said it?" "No...she wouldn't look at me." "She didn't mean it. It's one of those moments when you should have said no. She may have wanted you gone but she needed you there. I know it's confusing but I also know you'll get the hang of it one day. Watch her carefully when she talks you can usually tell what she means and what she doesn't. Also your cousins were here earlier and they're concerned about something you said." "What did I say?" Bo asks. "That you think of Julie, your sister, as a maid." Cooter answers. "I was teasing. I said we could always use Julie but we don't. Luke and I don't need a maid. The reason Luke and I don't cook or do the laundry is because last time we did we almost burnt the kitchen down and we put too much soap in and flooded the back room. We completely appreciate Daisy and what she does for us. Luke and I don't show it as often as we should but we do love what she does. God knows she's one of the best cooks this side of the Mississippi." Bo says. "You need to tell her that more often and straighten up this maid business with your cousins." Cooter says. Bo nods and after a little more advice Bo leaves.

"Oh...I get it." Lizzy says.

"If you love me then why did you leave?" Lizzy asks.

Both girls sit in silence waiting for Bo to say something.

"Bo I..." Lizzy starts then she loses her nerve and stares out the window.

"Maybe we should call him and be the bigger person." Lizzy says.

Lizzy sighed trying to dry her tears. "You think it'll help if he knows I'm still madly in love with him?" Lizzy asks.

So Lizzy calls Cooter and through her tears she explains what happens. He understands and says he'll try to talk to Bo.
