  1. Hello, there!

Welcome to HazzardNet! I hope that you enjoy your stay, and find lots of fun things to talk about here. There's a lot going on, so you'll find a lot to do!

I see that you met RogerDuke-he's one of the weirdest ones on HazzardNet-as you can see about the Las Vegas! He likes to drink heavily on the Buttermilk, so he gets a little strange. And, then there's General Grant-if you invite her to the Boars Nest, she drinks her buttermilk in a frosted glass-so look out for those two!

At any rate, I hope you have a great time! There are really a lot of great, friendly people. So if you ever need anything, everyone is more than happy to point you in the right direction!

  2. Hey Uncle Jesse!

You're a wealth of knowledge! I never knew Cooter lived on Jessup Road, much less on a farm! But, then again, just about everyone on the Dukes of Hazzard lived on a farm!:p

I just watched a Dukes of Hazzard show that named Mill Pond Road as were the Dukes lived, and that they lived 15 miles away from town! I was so excited to hear that! So, no wonder they can get from town to their house so fast, especially when they "go as the crow flies."

Have you started drawing a map?

  3. Hey mini hogg!

Yeah, if I see that you're in the chat room, I will definately give a shout to you! I look forward to doing that sometime.

I agree, it's really great to meet new people-especially great Duke fans such as yourself. I also agree how neat it is to see how other people have gotten the Dukes of Hazzard into their lives.

Again, welcome and stay for a long time! It's so great to chat with you!

  4. Hey Uncle Jesse!

Okay, I think that I figured everything out that I needed to know. Thanks for explaining.

Like I said, I'll try to watch the show sometime this week. I'm looking forward to this project, it sounds kind of fun!

As for me making a map. It sounds fun, but I wouldn't know where to start! And I didn't know that you knew where Cooter lived! Very cool! You have got to show us this map when you get done with it!

Okay, I'll get this done for you as soon as possible!

  5. Hello plymouth 7!

So glad that you could join all of us Hazzardites! Sit, back, relax, and enjoy all of the great people on here! It's amazing how many great people that join on HazzardNet everyday! I hope that you can stick around for a long time!

    Again, Welcome!

  6. Thank you! I'm not crazy (well, not as crazy as I thought I was!:p ) After arguing for 1 year, that it was not Waylon Jennings voice, I finally have someone to back me up on this. Thank you! Now, you confused me Uncle Jesse, I thought that they stopped the teaser talks after the first couple of seasons, and just showed clips and then went to the song right away? Well, this just gives us an excuse to watch more Dukes of Hazzard!

Okay, hopefully TimDuke will see that we need help!

Was that BrianColtrane or TimDuke that had the Big Bird Turkey for Thanksgiving? Well, whichever one it was, we'll have to restrain whoever it was from RogerDuke, otherwise we'll be talking about Ruldolph on the table for Christmas Dinner! :D

  7. Hey Uncle Jesse!

I would be honored to check out the show. Besides, I've been watching the second season anyways, so I don't mind watching "R.I.P. Henry Flatt" Okay, looking back on your previous posts, and seeing what you want and don't want, correct me if I'm wrong, but this is what you would like me to find:

    Residents (Homes, not individuals)

Roads (in Hazzard? or also other counties? And do I need to tell what county/town it's in?)

Water (creeks, lakes, swamps, ponds, etc.)

Landmarks (canyons, hollows, caves, mountains, bridges, etc.)

Neigboring counties (including bosses, towns, and sheriffs) Do I need to try and telll you what direction (north, south, east, west) the town is from Hazzard?

You know, I feel bad that you can't watch this D.V.D. Just an idea, but sometimes when I have a D.V.D. that doesn't work, you can take a soft cloth and wipe the D.V.D. and sometimes that helps.

Okay, well, I'll try to watch "R.I.P. Henry Flatt" sometime this week! Anymore exciting progress on your map. It just sounds SO cool!

  8. Hi MiniHogg!

I don't know if you remember, but I chatted with you once, I believe. And I remeber I had a great time getting to chat a little. So, I'm really happy that you finally introduced yourself! Good for you. Since you already have been here, you probably have already met a number of great Hazzard fans on this website.

Hope that you keep on posting, it wouldn't be the same without you. And welcome just the same!

    Khee! Khee! I'm gone!

  9. I think that is a super idea! Do you have a time and day picked out? I'm sure if you set one up, people will be glad to try to be there! I know I would try to chat for a while. But, make sure that when you pick a time that you tell what time zone so that others can change it for their zone.

Can't wait to hear when it is!

  10. Hello Everyone!

I've been re-watching the first and second season of The Dukes of Hazzard. And, I've been noticing something-the opening teasers that start the show (you know, when they say, "Tonight on the Dukes...........) and then they play the "Good ol' Boy" song. Well, on that teaser, I don't think that is Waylon Jenning's voice. But, other Hazzard people tell me it is. What do all of you think?

    Thanks!

  11. Hey Uncle Jesse (that's my nickname for RogerDuke, in case no one knows),

I think that jump that bwgath had, wasn't the world record jump. If you look in the background, you'll see the ground and a cop car. Didn't the world-record jump happen over a lake or something.

But, then again, it had to land on the ground, sometime. :D So, I could be wrong. Let me know if I am wrong.

  12. Hi jimmyc877!

I'm so happy that you found HazzardNet! There's tons of great people on this place. So, stick around, grab a drink, some snacks, and enjoy!

As for what type of music I like, I listen to country and the old rock-n-roll-I just like the rock-n-roll beat. As for country, I listen to: Glenn Campbell, Johnny Cash, the newer country singers, and John and Tom (of course!)

How about you, who are your favorite country artist?

    Again, welcome!

  13. Hey, Uncle Jesse!

I just was reading this thread, and how impressive! I think that it's SO cool to make a map of Hazzard, and surrounding areas. I give you lots of credit, you put in tons of work on this, I hope to see it when it's done. I wish I could get a map of Hazzard.

I see that in October you asked someone to watch "R.I.P. Henry Flatt" Do you still need someone to watch it for you? If you do, I would be happy to do that for you.

Great job, again Uncle Jesse! Keep telling us how the map is coming along, I'm really excited about this! If there's anything else I can do, let me know! I sure would be happy to try to help you with this.

  14. Guys,

Come on! I know that it's fun to discuss malfunctions, but this IS a family site! Being a girl, I'm a little upset that we are talking about those types of "malfunctions" in Daisy Duke's wardrobe. Could we please keep these types of clothes disasters to ourselves, or post it in the Hazzard Swamp? I, for one am SO proud of this site for being a fun, family oriented site. Okay, enough said. I don't want anyone to get upset, but like I said, could you please talk about it in the Hazzard Swamp if you HAVE to say it.

Thanks for being considerate about it.

    Laura Duke

  15. Brian Coltrane and Roger-a deadly combination when they start talking together! :)

MaryAnne, I hope that you enjoyed your turkey! Sounds great!

My Birthday was on Friday, and I got two Dukes of Hazzard pictures and a horn, with one of the songs it plays as Dixie! I cried! I admit it! :p

  16. You guys are awful! :-P Suppose a little kid saw a picture of their best friend, Big Bird, on the Thanksgiving table ready to get carved for the meal! That kid would be upset for life and never eat a Thanksgiving meal again!

But, I have to say, I got a big laugh out of that one!

    But still, you guys....:-P

    BigBirdFans.com-Funny!

And the picture sent by Brian Coltrane-hilarious!

You guys just crack me up.:p
