(I did notice a while ago that this thread isn't going very far other than back and forth. Guess we all have our favorites that we want to see win...no one wants to back down it looks like. )

Remember this from the end of January? I ended up getting cast in quite an iconic role from a popular Irish movie that I'd never seen before. We did the filming a couple of weeks ago in the middle of a snow storm, and then left it in the hands of what must be a very skilled editor. The awards night was held last night, which gave me chance to dress up for the evening. Our little movie was voted best picture by the audience (amongst some strong competition), so I'm going to have to get used to having my picture taken .

Thank you for the updates. I haven't been able to watch the races due to no cable. But do keep track on my phone. Guess its better than nothing. 
Though I did get to watch the first three games of the Chicago Cubs season last Friday thru Sunday since I was dog sitting.  What about them Cubbies?!

I have to give you a hard time. I'm just happy when the Cubs are playing well and winning.  It's a bonus if its against the Cardinals. 
Yeah sadly it doesn't look too good. Several teams are being affected right now. Cubs will be playing the Cardinals next weekend and theybh as ve several players out with it. Hope the Cubs will stay healthy. 

I'm not even going to be doing much trash talking this year. Your Cubs are better than my Pirates so I might as well just admit it and get it over with. The big question is: can the season make it until playoffs? It's not looking good. 

All I know is that your boys are beating up my poor Pirates. I bet you're enjoying that!

Great news. The Dukes of Hazzard wouldn't be quite the same if the Duke boys weren't ahead of Rosco kicking dust on him. And NASCAR wouldn't be the same if Chase Elliott wasn't in front of Jimmie Johnson making him smell his exhaust.

Scarey stuff. I have lyme disease and a faulty heart valve so I have to be careful and do my best to avoid it. My wife works in a hospital so of course we are concerned and take precautions. Very few people around here are taking precautions though..

Yeah I'll be shocked if they don't cancel MLB and NFL seasons this year. 
My wife's cousin caught it, he's been in bed the better part if the week. His fever finally broke yesterday. He's a strong healthy guy in his mid 40's and he says it's like the worst cold/flu he's ever had. A couple of days he only got out of bed just to go to the bathroom. It's definitely not a virus to take lightly.

I bet you are right. The numbers are spiking (no fault of yours Spike). It's not looking good for any sport in 2020.

Jimmie Johnson has tested positive for Covid after his wife got it. He isn't showing symptoms,  but will be sitting out his first race since his career started 20 years ago. Justin Allgaier will be in the 48 car on Sunday. Tho Johnson won't be getting any points for it. 
Ugh. This 48 fan is just heart broken. Am glad he isn't showing any symptoms and is following the guidelines,  but still...

Sounds like Roger is talking in his sleep again.  He's doing to be disappointed when he wakes up and has to face the reality of him losing to me and my amazing and powerful fantasy baseball team .
