The fact that the video is mirrored made me think it might not be the original. This slightly longer video was posted two days earlier, is the correct way round and has a different voice-over.

The casting seems to be Jake Gyllenhaal as Bo Duke, Ryan Gosling as Luke Duke and Charlize Theron as Daisy Duke. While the cousin characters are the same as the TV show, Jesse and Boss have passed, and Leonardo DiCaprio plays Boss's grandson Jefferson Hogg. There's also no mention of Rosco, as Nicole Kidman plays Sheriff Lorena Dawson.

There are three different General Lees: the original '69 Charger; a Charger Daytona; a modern Charger. I can't see the flag on the roof of any of them.

I'm sure the caption "Except The Fight" should be "Accept The Fight".

So I came across a video while looking through Google articles yesterday of a Dukes of Hazzard Reboot. Though there's a catch, it's all AI and fake.  Though it is a bit entertaining and sad to think that it's all fake...
 
 

I have to admit that since I have been into pro dirt bikes these past few years (and Moto GP sport bikes) I haven't followed NASCAR as much. 

Jesse mutters to himself "Yep, but Emma's dirt bike blew up. I'd rather not remember that." 
Emma responded quickly, grabbing Jesse's arm "But I'll never forget that kiss" She winked at him. 

"Now that's a race to remember!" Garrett yells out in celebration while raising his beer glass to cheers with those around him before he eyes Hobie and gives him a nod. He slowly lowers his raised glass and says, "As I'm sure this race will be, too."

Is the NASCAR season over? No one's mentioned it for ages! 

All English eyes were on Atlanta earlier tonight. Most of the games are on too late for me to watch, but England v DR Congo was on at 5pm our time, which meant that the match was over halfway through with England 1-0 down by the time I got home from work. Luckily, they pulled it round after the commercial hydration break and won 2-1. Now I have a dilemma - I obviously want England to win, but they're playing Mexico in the next round, and I have Mexico in my work's sweepstakes!

There aren't any stupid people in America so it must have been an AI bot posing as an American and it just got Australia and Austria mixed up.

Yes, I believe they were. That was the major selling point. But, I think by the time Dukes ran on TNN, cable was showing ads.

I lived in the country when cable TV first came out but (correct me if I'm wrong my fellow Americans) but weren't all the cable stations back then commercial free? As I recall, that was one of the big selling points. 

I know I've made this comment before, but when one of the satellite channels over here was showing Dukes a few years ago, it was the first time I'd ever seen it with commercial breaks.  It was originally shown in the UK on the BBC which doesn't show any commercials, and then I got it on DVD. Other shows like The A-Team, Knight Rider and the Fall Guy were shown on ITV which does show commercials, but not nearly as many as the US.

Garrett rolls his eyes at seeing them kiss but applauds with everyone else. "I guess that means we won't know the finishing order now," he states under his breath and turns around to face to take a drink of his beer that was sitting on the bar.
