Thanks, Garrett. I hope you get time to watch the highlights videos that I link to. They're only about 8 minutes long, and probably make a lot more sense than my reviews.

That's good news that Chase Elliot got a win at the weekend.

Oooo I'll have to push play. I bet they are great too.

  2. Thank you for the updates, Hoss. It's great to read about the other types of car races and what's going on with them.

NASCAR Cup Series raced last night in Atlanta. As has been the norm lately, sadly I didn't get to watch it as I don't have the channel it was on. But I am excited to report that Chase Elliott ended his 44 race winless streak at his hometown in Atlanta last night!!!

I'm sorry for the lack of details, that's the one that struck out to me. HA

Hey Hoss, no worries! You keep us up to date on stuff and between you and Garrett.....you guys help us stay up on everything!

Thank you Hobie :) . I haven't done very well as of late, I feel.

The biggest race of the NASCAR season is Sunday night at the Coca Cola 600 in Charolotte. Last season, Christopher Bell won it. Kyle Larson will being going for the double header for the second year in a row. Racing Indy 500 and the Coca Cola 600 for 1,100 miles in one day. Or try. Last year's run was ran a little short due to rain and having to make from track to track in a shortened time span. Justin Allgaier started the Coca Cola race last year for Larson before Larson took over the 5 NASCAR car.  Kyle Larson's quest to complete 1,100 miles, Part II | NASCAR

I miss the older days where this was the house that Jimmie Johnson built. Well he didn't build Charolette, but he was good there. Hendrick cars run good here so I am hopeful for the number 9 car of Chase Elliott to have a good run at it...

Thank you Hoss for keeping us updated on F1. You do a great job at it.

I don't know but I've heard Cooter has done something to his wrecker...souped it up or something......you guys watch out for him. I'm still wondering what in the name of Hazzard, Uncle Jesse's done to his truck. He had to do something, to make his truck able to compete! souped it up, got another engine or something!

It will be interesting to see . . . but the 24 NASCAR car is unstoppable and uncatchable! I'll see y'all in my rearview mirror! LOL ;)

It was at a truck stop. It's the biggest truck stop around (Interstate 90) but it's still a truck stop with limited room so maybe they don't want too many people.

Yeah when they came to my area it was at a mall. So I'm sure space was limited as well. They handed out bandanas. I think I still have it.

I'm still irritated that the local news didn't mention the Petty boys were coming. Maybe they were worried the crowd would be too big. I see King Richard is 87....hard to believe.

When I went years ago, it doesn't seem like it was very well advertised. I heard it at the last minute and was lucky enough to go. Makes you wonder if it's on them and it's their way of saving money? IDK. When I went, I don't think Richard Petty was there. It was just Kyle Petty and a bunch of guys I didn't know. LOL. It was neat and odd at the same time. LOL
