"No!" came the reply followed by a sob.

Jaime was buried in the hay in the hay loft, sniffing softly.

Jesse shrugged. "I dunno."

Jesse looked to him. "I think she's in the barn."

Daisy looked at him. "His girlfriend?!"

Jesse looked up as Bo came into the room. "Well? How is he?"

Luke lay limp in Bo's arms as he was carried inside, hardly noticing that he was being moved.

Eventually Luke fell asleep worn out wih the events of the day.

Luke leaned silently on the seat his leg stretched out in front of him, absorbed in thought.

Luke hopped into the truck and once more handed his crutches to Bo.

"Kay" said Troy sleepily. Luke hobbled out the door.

Troy noddd and quickly closed his eyes, rationalizing the sooner he went to sleep the sooner Bo would be back.

"Not yet..." answered Troy. "He won't neither...Dukes keep their promises," said Luke.

Troy sniffed. "You promise?" Luke shifted a little on his crutches.

"No! Don't go!" whimper Troy holding tight to Bo. Luke squirmed uncomfortably trying to think of who he might get a ride from.

"Are ya leavin?" asked Troy with a whimper.

Troy threw his arms around him though the IV's one pulled a little. "Thank you." Luke smiled at them marvelling how alike they were.

"I did!" exclaimed Troy a wide grin on his face.
