Luke just nodded. "You know Bo...you take eggs from their mamas...they might not hatch"

Luke looked indignantly at him.. it wasn't like Bo tto keep something from him.

"I have plenty of reason!" returned Luke. "When the person who used to tell me everything suddenly starts keeping stuff from me, I'd say that's plenty reason to get upset..."

Luke smiled taking the laundry out of the basket not realizing the egg was actually behind it frowning when he didnt come to it. "Where is it?"

"An so would your egg, wouldnt it?" asked Luke pointedly.

Luke shrugged. "I dunno... looks nice an' warm..."

Luke spun around. "Me apologise?!" He shook his head. "I didn't do a thing to ya!"

Luke, by this time had turned away. knowing if he walked away his uncle would just pull him back, but not wanting to stay.

They're both wrong...the first boy I ever actually kissed was Enos Strate, in a game of truth-or-dare when I was in 7th grade... *gives Bo a shove* Ernie Ledbettter?! In his dreams maybe...or my nightmares...

*sighs- his uncle wasn't gonna let him hide, but seeing the way Bo turned from him he just took the box out of his pocket and laid it on the table, not being one to stay where he wasnt wanted*

A devilish grin came across Luke's face. "Maybe if ya slept in tihs old basket..." he said as he pretended to go to sit in it.

"Was real nice...if I stay will ya sing it t me?" he asked.

*smirks putting his hand on his uncle's shoulder and walking in with him*-it was true he let him win, but that was only because he wasn't sure he wante to be there*

"Who was ya singin to?" he asked innocently.

Ok I doubt very much that this would be found in Hazzard County Georgia, but right now, as I write we here in Michigan are in the 15th hour of a snowstorm, averaging about an inch an hour of snowfall. To put it another way, my own "velvet ears" who is a cocker spaniel, gets buried when she steps off the deck and it's up past my knees. Wonder how the General does i snow?!

Luke ventured out going over to where Bo was. "Whatcha doin' Bo?" he asked as if he knew nothing.

Luke bit his lip, sure from the trail of straw Bo had left behind that it was an egg, and more sure that it now wouldn't hatch because Bo had taken it from its nest.

Luke crept closer to where Bo was, wondering who he was talking to.

Luke watched him from a hiding spot of his own ondering what his baby cousin was up to...it was unusual for him to be so quiet.

Jesse nodded. "Let's see I think Bo was about three at the time..." ***flashback***

Jesse smiled. "Well now...seems t' me I remember a time that Bo tried to hatch an egg..."

"Once maybe...when they was real real young..." said Jesse.

*pulls up to the Boar's Nest, the same time Jesse did, sighing softly as he slipped out the window*
