Luke: *sighs, nodding, getting in the truck miserably*

Lavinia saw where Bo was looking and smiled. "You see the fawn do you?"

Lavinia smiled just continuing to rock him. The fawn meanwhile stayed still under the blankets.

Lavinia reached over, finding his pacifier on the table and pputting it in Bo's mouth as she continued to rub his back.

"Now...now... you finished it...it's all gone baby..." said Lavinia as she softly rubbed his back.

Lavinia just smiled, before taking the bottle from him and once more putting him over her shoulder rubbing his little back softly.

Lavinia smiled down at him, her fingers twirling his abundant curls.

Luke didn't hear him. He was already fast asleep. Lavinia, meawhile, had gotten a bottle out for Bo and sat in her rocking chair, just rocking her baby, gently singing to him.

Luke's hands fell to the side, already mostly asleep well wor out with the excitement of the day. "Love Unca Jesse..." he murmured softly, his eyes closing.

Luke knew it was no use arguing with his uncle, so he just rested his head on the man's shoulder reaching for the watch fob his uncle always wore and playing with it as he was carried.

"But what if she needs me?" asked Luke with a whimper having decided for himself that it must be a girl since she didn't have any horns.

Luke opened his eyes as he was lifted. "No....no....no...."

Lavinia walked into the kitchen stopping as she stood before Luke, who lay under the blanket, cuddled into his fawn fast asleep.

Lavinia smiled holding the little boy close, knowing the curly haired blond loved hugs more than anything else in the world. "Cmon to the kitchen..."

Lavinia reached in picking him up from his crib. "Now what's the matter, little one? Ain't you gettin enough attention?" She put him against her chest tickling his cheek a little.

Lavinia nodded before getting up to see Bo. "Well ya woke from your nap didja?" Luke kept up his song, stroking the fawn gently.

Lavinia too shook her head. "He sure has a tender heart when it comes to critters."

It wasn't long before both Jesse and Lavinia could hear Luke's small voice singing the lullaby he remembered his mama singing to him to the little fawn. The fawn, as if understanding, closed its eyes falling to sleep with its head on Luke's lap.

Lavinia shook her head. "No...but I dont wanna be the one to tll him that." Luke, meanwhile, was talking softly to the fawn. "I don't have a mama neither...or a daddy...I got an auntie...and an uncle...we's both orphans..."

Luke frowned a little, but his sadness didnt last long. Instead, he reached for one of the unused blankets, carefully covering his fawn with it, before kissing the top of its head softly. "Sok...you sleep...I'll stay here..."

"Well...will ya look...I wanna know what to name it...an I don't wanna call him a her name if he's a boy..." answered Luke quietly.

The fawn soon drank what little of the formula it could and tiredly rested its head on Luke's lap. Luke caressed it gently. "Unca Jesse? Is it a boy deer or a girl deer?"

Luke's lip quivered though his eyes showed a fierce determination. "No... he's gonna live...he will.." With that he caressed the tiny deer's ears speaking softly into them.

Well to answer one of your questions, the perfect day for me would be to wake up, go shopping, get my hair and nails done, then go to a Dolly Parton concert. Course, it'd be even better if I got to sing with her...

Luke shook his head. "It'll be alright...I know it..."
