  1. Bright and early the next morning, Luke was wide awake. Standing up, he stretched his aching body, every limb he had popping and cracking. Scratching his brunette locks, Luke looked out the barred window, seeing the robbers outside. Smiling when he seen two of them leaving, and one staying, he knew it would be an easy escape. It was just the part of getting Bo to Doc Appleby's in Hazzard, in fact, it was getting to Hazzard period that was the problem. Shaking hs head to clear his thoughts, Luke looked around as much as the iron bars on the window would let him, trying to scout out an area around them. Seeing a pine thicket straight ahead of them, he smiled to himself. Trudging back over to Bo, Luke knelt down beside of him shaking his shoulder as gently as possible. "Wake up cousin...we're gettin' outta here..."
  2. As it grew dark outside, hearing the shuffles of feet and muffled voices above finally die down, Luke let out a sigh, closing his eyes sleepily as he stretched his legs out, leaning back against the wall putting his hands behind his head for a pillow. Keeping one eye open to watch out for Bo or for anyone to come down there, Luke yawned tiredly, tomorrow proved to be an interesting day for the two of them.
  3. Luke smiled putting an arm around Bo's shoulders consolingly. "S'ok Bo... I ain't mad...none of us are.."
  4. Luke smiled lightly, shaking his head. "You was buggin' me and Daisy all day, t' play cowboys and indians with ya.. well, a couple of our friends...Cooter and Lori Davenport...came by and we managed t' rustle them in on the game... me and you was runnin' from 'enemy fire' and you darted off in t' some bushes...last we seen of ya....we searched for days on end....I never stopped..." Luke sighed heavily, remembering all the laboring and tiring days he spent out in the woods or walking down the roads searching for him.
  5. Luke grinned widely. He could tell his cousin remembered and was as pleased as punch he did. When Bo handed the picture back, Luke put it back in the pocket of his wallet, putting his wallet in his back pocket. Sitting down, his back to the wall in a comfortable position, Luke sighed. "It's been twelve years Bo since we last seen ya cousin..."
  6. Luke smiled, catching sight of the glint in his cousin's eye. Pointing a finger to each person in the picture, Luke spoke softly. "This is your family Bo. There's Uncle Jesse, Daisy, me, and that little baby he's holding there is you."
  7. Luke looked down, the doubt and sadness clear in his eyes. Bo didn't remember him, Uncle Jesse, or Daisy. The muscle in Luke's jaw worked, his eyes still diverted to the floor as he thought of ways that would help him jog Bo's memory. Pulling his knees up to his chest, resting his tired forearms across them, Luke felt his wallet as he scooted around a little, smiling, Luke got up on one knee pulling out his wallet. Opening it up, he pulled out a picture, in perfect condition, of Bo, Uncle Jesse, Daisy, and him. Turning to face Bo, Luke held out the picture for him to take and look at.
  8. Luke opened his mouth to say something, though when a thought had occured to him, he shut it tight and nodded slowly. He thanked God that someone had found him when he had run away from home twelve years ago. "Bo... do you remember anything at all before age six...like say, people or places?"
  9. Lori knew he wouldn't ask, he was too derned proud and stubborn to. "You're pride is going to get you a one trip on ya a** in the floor if you try to move on your own, you know that right?" Lori smirked, her chin in her hand. She walked around the chair and held her hand out for him to take so she could help him.
  10. Howdy Mike, wow sounds like ya got a busy life! LOL Wanted to give you a warm Hazzard County Welcome! hope ya enjoy it here!
  11. Smiling her thanks, Lori took the wheelchair, turning around in the direction of Luke's room. Wheeling it inside, she grinned at Luke, rolling the chair beside his bed. "You ready Señor Duke?" She teased him, leaning on the back of the chair.
  12. Luke looked up at Bo, confusion swirling around in his eyes. "Bo....your parents are dead, same as mine and our cousin Daisy's..." Luke's brows drew together in a line looking at him.
  13. The Fortune Tellers is sticking out in my mind with this one, but im thinking its not correct. But this is the one where Bo does go to the circuit without Luke.
  14. Luke had to chuckle despite the situation they was in. It was great to see Bo again, but not in under these circumstances.
  15. Luke looked at him, swallowing a little. It pained him to see his cousin like this. "Bo, ya just gotta hang on...least til tomorrow mornin' cousin.."
  16. Luke sat down, rubbing his chin deep in thought. Looking up at the door, Luke got up and quietly climbed up the stairs, looking through the keyhole on the door knob, he watched the three men move around, hearing their muffled voices. "We'll leave tomorrow morning...you stay here and watch those two, when we get back...we'll take care of them." One of the men had said. Smirking to himself, Luke went back downstairs to where Bo was, a plan forming.
  17. Luke nodded a little, looking up at the door, his eyes narrowed the wheels turning. "Is there any way we can get ahold of someone, by CB or anything?"
  18. Luke swallowed a little, he was cussing the theiving morons above them with every breath he took. "We gotta get you outta here and get you to Doc's..." Luke said, examining Bo's sides. Though, how would be hard to figure out.
  19. Luke nodded, a smile crossing his face. "Yea...it's me cousin, God I've missed you." He moved to hug him, but seeing he was more in pain, Luke worried. "You alright?" He asked, concerned.
  20. Luke blinked at Bo a couple of times, letting the question register with him. His own cousin didn't even know who he was. "Bo..it's its me...Luke...you're oldest cousin..." He almost whispered, deep in thought.
  21. Rolling off of what he felt under neath him, Luke groaned more, his back aching, pain shot through his head ad whole body as he shook his head a little. When he looked up the sight he saw made him blink, doing a double take. "B...Bo?" He studdered shockingly, staring at Bo. His eyes wide as dinner plates. He did a quick scan of Bo seeing just how much he had changed over the years.
  22. When the robbers did return, They grabbed Luke, tying him and gagging him same as they did Bo. shoving him in the back sharply, they snapped at him to go on. Once inside the other man looked at him and pointed at the door to the basement, giving a small nod, indicating Bo had gotten free and was waiting. Nodding the other two quickly opened the door and gave Luke a hard shove, causing Luke to trip over Bo and cause them both to take a tumble down the stairs. With each thud came a groan from Luke's lips as he finally stopped rolling at the bottom of the stairs, feeling something warm beneath him though. Rubbing his eyes painfully, Luke blinked his cerulean eyes, looking around once his vision cleared.
  23. Lori nodded lightly to her, drumming her fingers on the desk patiently.
