  1. Karen and Nick both looked at each other. They had always wanted a child, this was a good a chance as any. They didn't know where exactly the poor child came from, but knew he needed the help. "Of course." Karen replied.
  2. Karen smiled gently, reaching down to pick the small child up. Cradling him in her arms like anyone would an infant, Karen pushed his blonde curls out of his eyes. "It's alright, you won't be left alone anymore then."
  3. Nick nodded, about to reply to Karen's statement when he saw the blonde haired boy come bouncing around the door. Smiling a little he nodded his head towards him, giving Karen the signal that he was there. Turning around, Karen chuckled lightly at the boy, kneeling down to his level once more. "What're ya doin off the couch? You need to rest up.."
  4. Karen sighed lightly, placing her chin in the palm of her hand in a contemplative manner. Getting up from her spot, Karen went outside to find Nick who was out in the barn. Walking out there at a quick pace, Karen poked her head around the barn doors, and hollered at her husband. "Nick!" Nick nearly jumped a whole 10 feet when he turned around, looking at her with a bewildered look. "What?!" Karen had the good graces to blush a little as she stepped inside the doorway. "The boy doesn't know who he is or where he came from or anything...he has a nasty lump on the side of his head..."
  5. Karen gave him a puzzling concerned look as she examined the lump a little more. "You poor dear, you must have lost your memory... You don't remember anything do you?" She asked him once more.
  6. Giving him a soft caring smile, Karen put a bandage over the lump then got up to get him a glass of orange juice. Bringing it back in to him, she sat down on the edge of the sofa and sat the glass on the table. "What's your name sweetie?" Karen questioned gently.
  7. Karen looked down at him and smiled a little, cleaning his wounds up from the scratches he recieved running through the woods. Lightly, she wiped away the blood smudges from the lump on his head. "Hello there little one..." She spoke softly.
  8. I haven't really read them lol but from what i gathered i reckon they're good.

  9. ah nothin' much i reckon, you?

  10. The Lexington Field Harmonic is an orchestra here in Kentucky, I believe each state has one, not sure on that one, especially a major city in a state, such as ours is Louisville and Lexington. And yes, it was fun we got home around 12 that night, I will admit, I love her voice, but I just don't like her on account of what she did to Keith Whitley.

  11. to a music fair type thing in Nashville or Gatlinsburg in Tennesse. Only trip we went to was here in our state, up to Lexington to see Lorrie Morgan singing christmas songs and the Lexington field harmonic play.

  12. Lori sighed a little, frustratingly, as she wrote down a list of names that she could call who was Luke's friends from the marines. The wheels in her head was still turning. Bo watched Lori, shaking his head. "We're in trouble." Lori looked up at him giving him a confused look, her brow creasing. "Why's that?" Bo smiled a little, despite the mood he was in. "You're thinking...means trouble." Lori rolled her eyes grumbling at him. She looked over the list and ran a hand down her face, wondering if the idea really would work.
  13. Nick yawning and stretching, walked through the house puling his over alls traps over his shoulders.Smiling to his wife, Nick gave her a quick kiss then went outside stopping dead in his tracks seeing the young blonde boy. "Karen..I think you might want to come out here.." He called into the house. Hearing him, Karen went outside to see what was wrong, and seeing the small boy, she smiled and walked over to him, picking him up gently. "Poor thing...has a nasty lump on the side of his head." She whispered a little. Carrying him inside, Karen took him to the couch and laid him down, then went about getting wet cloths and things to clean him up.
  14. When morning arrived, the old man, Nick Larson, was awakening from his night's slumber. His wife, Karen, was already awake and in the kitchen fixing up their breakfast before they headed out to do the morning chores, neither of them aware of the small child curled up asleep outside on their front porch.
  15. Lori fell asleep right smack dab in the middle of the living room floor, Daisy having moved to the recliner since Cooter took her spot on the couch. Soon, all children in the house at one point, was alseep. As all was supposedly going well in Hazzard, young Bo was almost to the hills of Tennesse, near a huge horse ranch where an old married couple had lived, and had never had a child to call their own before.
  16. Everyone nodded at Jesse then turned to look at one another. Saying their good nights, Lori climbed down and got in the middle of the living room floor and laid flat on her back looking straight up. it was her way of thinking.
  17. Once supper was over, Daisy and Lori helped Jesse with the dishes and helped him clean the kitchen up a little. Once they finished, Lori went to the red recliner and climbed up in it crossing her legs in under her, watching Luke and Cooter talk about things to keep themselves occupied. Daisy walked in and climbed up slowly on the couch stretching out.
  18. Daisy looked at the food, it immediatley causing her to get sick. Sighing a little though, when Jesse had his plate, she slowly started to eat, the food turning to sawdust as she swallowed, doing the same for the other children.
  19. Cooter and Luke sat on one side, Lori at the end, Daisy on her side where she usually sat at beside of Boo, then Jesse down on his end at the head of the table. Sighing a little, Daisy looked at the seat beside her and pouted sadly, it just wasn't the same without Bo's tiny hand reaching across to grab a roll, Jesse gently smacking it scolding him lightly.
  20. Lori and Cooter hopped back up on the porch and sat down on the porch swing, swinging a little, their clothes was drying rather quickly from how hot it had gotten outside. Lori clasped her hands in her lap and looked down, thinking. Daisy sighed a little, rubbing her eyes as she moved to get up from where she sat next to Luke. Going inside she went to the bathroom to clean up like Jesse had told them to do.
  21. Cooter nodded a little looking at Lori who was ringing out her shirt by twisting it, growling at it. "It was your idea dummy..." Cooter said, shaking his head. Lori, glaring at him shook water on him like a dog would. "Yea and you was the idiot who followed me..."
  22. Lori looked at Cooter then to Uncle Jesse. "Washing off.."
  23. Lori and Cooter both looked up from where they laid tiredly on the porch. Making small grunting noises in an attempt to get up Lori and Cooter both trudged off the porch and headed straight to the water trough, dunking themselves in the water. Daisy, getting curious when she heard water splashing, Looked up from where she laid curled up by Luke, raised an eyebrow when she saw Cooter and Lori walk back soaking wet.
  24. Cooter looked at Lori who was piled up near Daisy and Luke almost asleep from the hot and humid day. Tapping her shoulder a little he yawned himself and curled up on the porch drowsily. "Wanna just stay here and eat dinner? I'm sure daddy wouldn't mind..." Lori looked at him and only nodded, letting her head flop down on the wooden floor.
  25. Rosco nodded slowly, sighing sadly as he hung up the phone. He went about filling out the papers so he could broadcast them and send them to Atlanta.
