Joey Logano took a scary ride Sunday at the end of Stage 1 when Denny Hamlin turned him launching Logano into the air nearly landing on Bubba Wallace's car. Thankfully Joey Logano was fine. 
Matt Dibenedetto came close to getting the Wood Brothers racing their 100th win but blocked the wrong line and Brad Keselowski went on to win. This win ties him with Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt jr on Talladega wins and is also his 35th career win. Matt Dibenedetto arguably had the fastest car as he was able to make power move passes without pushes from other drivers. Part timer Kaz Grala managed to finish 6th place for Kaulig Racing. Surprisingly there was no 'big one' that took out half the field as there usually is at Talladega with this pack racing package.

I  knew what you meant. I was just being goofy.
I was on the way to a high school baseball game this afternoon, listening to the classic country radio station and they played the Dukes theme song. I smiled at every note. And after it was over I turned the radio off to keep the song in my head. Every once in awhile you have a moment where the Dukes of Hazzard feels brand new again. I love those moments.

I just saw her on an episide of Running Wild with Bear Grylss.

I didn't mean straight as in a person's sexual orientation, I meant straight Republican ticket as in they only vote Republican. Maybe it's only an Ohio saying lol.

How can it be possible to vote straight Republican if the person is gay? Seriously though, There are a lot of people who vote for someone just because the candidate is black, female or gay. Those are the people who always complain that discrimination is wrong yet have no idea that they are guilty of it themselves. 

Well keep us up on it and tell her everybody in Hazzard ( even the town " drunk" ( notice the qoutes!) , is in her corner!!

You are correct Petraq. That is the movie that Dukes of Hazzard was based on. It is nice to have you here on the HazzardNet. We hope to hear a lot more from you. Do you watch a lot of Dukes episodes? 

The earlier the episide was made the better....in general that is. There are exceptions, Happy Birthday General Lee was one of my favorites. I am not a fan of anything after 1985. 

My wife had rotator cuff surgery yesterday. Between that and our new puppy I have come out of retirement and taken on a new job as a caretaker. I love this job! I slept good last night. I think I was just nervous about her surgery. She's not out of the woods yet. Infection and blood clots are always a concern. This was the first surgery she's ever had. 

Which do you like more Hazzard from 1979 and from 1985 or from Hazzard from 2005 film ???? Ame that movie sucked it wasn't like the TV series

You need to concentrate on relaxing. Start with your  feet and concentrate on having them get heavier and heavier and more and more relaxed, until you couldn't move them even if you wanted. Then work up to your lower legs and do the same thing and  then just keep moving up your body. Eventually you'll be working on making your head heavy and  relaxed and then......you're asleep!

We got a few inches of snow here....pretty unusual since it is starting to get so green outside. I've been having a lot of trouble sleeping lately. Anybody have any tips for me? I lay down at night and tell myself "I bet I'll have trouble sleeping tonight" and sure enough I do. It's just like when you tell a kid not to spill something you put the thought in their head and they spill it.

Well, we had a wet start to the race in Italy today, and it produced some great driving and a few crashes (admittedly not many by NASCAR standards!). Hamilton made a rare mistake, but made an impressive recovery to finish second and with the fastest lap.

While I've got the thread diverted to F1, it was announced earlier today that the Austin Grand Prix will be joined by a new race in Miami in 2022 to give the US two grands prix next year. The 3.36 mile circuit will be around the stadium of the Miami Dolphins - more info here.
