My mom is on a ton of medications and they can definitely have side effects in certain combinations. The thing is....there are so many different meds and so many combinations of them, doctors don't even know what can happen. They do know that some meds aren't compatible with others but when you are on a dozen of them it can be confusing. My wife's uncle (RIP) was a happy guy but as his health failed he got on one med after another and eventually had 16. He needed heart surgery and had to drop all his meds for a period of time before his surgery. For awhile there he was back to his fun loving old self. 

I can't believe Hamlin didn't do any better than that!  I did better than that in yesterday's Moonshine 400! ( Where were you guys?)  I didn't win though because I was constantly behind Daisy......keepin' an eye on her tail!  Also  Uncle Jesse kept tryin' to knock me off the track......think he was protectin' daisy!

Saturday night's Cup race didn't have the exciting finish that the Xfinity race did but did have some drama. It looked like it was going to be Denny Hamlin's race to lose and he did when he cut a tire while beating and banging with Kyle Larson for the lead. When Kevin Harvick and Chase Elliot were battling for the lead Chase Elliot also cut a tire and went a lap down. That didn't end there though... on fresh tires Chase raced his way back to Harvick and doorslammed him on his way by to regain his lap and then took Harvick's line away which allowed Chase's teammate Kyle Larson to catch and pass Kevin Harvick. Kyle Larson went on to win. Chase and Kevin had a heated discussion on pit road and had another discussion later, then Kevin got into a reporter's face about recording them and so they went to Chase's hauler to have their discussion. Aric Almirola, Tyler Reddick, Kurt Busch and Michael McDowell are out of the Playoffs/Chase.

It appears 23XI racing has bought a charter for the #45 next year 
and talks with FRM are still ongoing with either FRM selling both it's charter's to 23XI racing and not racing in the cup series or one charter and becoming another JGR Toyota satellite team. That would leave Ford with only Penske racing and RoushFenwayKeselowski Racing teams in 2022 with 6 or 7 Ford's each race.

In-laws can be a great stress to ANY marriage! ( Better stay in  Hazzard!)

I'm sick and tired of dealing with family drama this year so it looks like it's just going to be me and the wife celebrating the holidays together and skipping any family get together's if there even is any. What sealed that was my M-I-L accusing me of kicking her dog the yesterday while she was talking to the wife on the phone. Only thing I ever did to the dog was smack it with a newspaper when it nipped at me when I was playing fetch with it one time years ago. For god sakes I only seen the in laws 3 maybe 4 times in the past 2 years due to COVID-19 so I don't know how the heck that happened in that time period. Maybe it's time she had a doctor take a hard look at all the meds she's been prescribed to see which one(s) is causing her to see stuff that's not there or not happening. 

Well, you can do what I do for my arthritis in my spine.  I take BC's! ( They're an all time NASCAR favorite you know!  ) I feel for you Rog! I hope you get to feeling better. I can sympathize with you on that one! ( unfortunately!)

Heading to the local fair with the grandkids tomorrow. I won't be riding any rides though. My back has gotten pretty bad. I have an MRI in 6 days to see if I need surgery. I had an MRI once and felt pretty claustrophobic but I guess you have to do what you have to do.

Found it! It's from 'The Sound of Music - Hazzard Style' (also in season 4). The federal officer confronts the boys and tries to identify himself, but he has a problem there:

Ben Jordan: I seem to have misplaced my wallet.
Bo: Mister, we've heard that 100 times.
Ben Jordan: You just take my word for it. I am a federal officer.
Luke: Sure, and I'm Santa Claus, this here's Bugs Bunny.

The episodes had different writers, so maybe the two Bugs Bunny references were a coincidence.
