My Name is Andrew. I am 43 years old. I am also a post 9/11 U.S. Navy Veteran. I served from May 2003 to April of 2007. I loved Dukes of Hazzard since I started watching it at a fairly young age. I loved watching DoH and Three's Company. Please pardon me for bringing up another show. Anyway, I do it my best to live my life by at least one of Uncle Jesse's famous quotes. At least along DoH fans like us. He said, "A stranger is just a friend I have no met yet." I live in Southern California. So out here I have to use tact. of course. Probably more so than I would like. Meaning I wish I did live in a place where more and more people saw us as fellow Americans. And not in our liberalized categories. White/Black, Straight/Gay and or Male or Female. I cannot stand all that bull sh_t myself. I am part of the Human Race. And my skin color is what it is because God picked it for me. And I know I had nothing to do with that choice. I do, however, have the choice as to how I treat others and I have the choice how I conduct myself. Sorry for getting on a little bit of a soap box. I just feel much more comfortable to say how I truly feel. Reminds me of Frank Sinatra's song, My Way. And I found this message board/website since I just spent $99.99 on the entire serious streaming on Youtube. Thank you to all of you who took the time to read this. I truly and honestly look forward to getting to know about all of you. 

I think the cancel culture folks don't want anything on TV at all. Hey, I have an idea they might like.....A 24 hour a day show that is required to be on every single station. It would be solar powered  robots and all they would say is quotes from Bernie Sanders. This would also help the environment because nobody would watch TV and they'd use less electricity. 

The odd thing is that only the stuff that offends liberals is what is being banned. The stuff that offends conservatives is not only, not being banned, but it is encouraged. When you attempt to silence half of the people in a large nation you shouldn't be surprised that folks get angry. Can you imagine how Jesse would feel if he was here. 

I just clicked on "Forums" in the main navigation bar and then "Members". I typed the random search term "roger" in the "Search Term" box and clicked "Search Again". The results were:

Apparently, it goes back to an old law whereby the ruling monarch's spouse is known as consort. Then we get into gender politics, because a man who marries a queen is known as prince consort, but a lady who marries a king becomes queen consort, which generally gets shortened to queen.

I'm just watching 'To Catch a Duke'. When Boss fires Rosco:

Rosco: "Listen, I want to take this to a higher court."

Boss: "Then get yourself a ladder."

Boss Hogg:"Rosco, if you ever have to live your life over again, don't!" Rosco:"If I do, I hope I'm a duck!"

Boss Hogg:"Alright! What'd you crooks do with them furs!?" Luke Duke:"We upholstered the General with 'em." Bo Duke:"Teh. They put 'em in that blue car. They're gettin' away." Rosco:"Boss, maybe that was that blue car goin' South that nearly run over our posteriors goin' North." Boss Hogg:"Yeah. But you believe that-" Luke Duke:"Yeah. No MaryAnne, it's my fault. I challenged him to write a quality post. Of course I'm still trying to write my first quality post too. Both of us are pretty competitive so the race is on.

Woops, I needed the edit button on this one. The challenge was to write posts of NO quality. (I guess I succeeded again.)

Got a house full of grandkids right now. It's louder than the Boar's Nest. Nobody is paying attention to 'ol grandpa right at the moment so I thought I'd getaway to Hazzard County for a second. Have a fun weekend everybody. 

He was so much a part of the sport when I started watching it. I read his autobiography about 20 years ago, and I bought it in hardback. The BBC are putting on a tribute show on Tuesday night, so I'll being staying up to watch that. In the meantime, there's a shorter tribute on the F1 site - I hope you take the time to watch it:

Boss and Uncle Jesse were standing in front of the Courthouse and Jesse was getting tired of hearing Boss brag about how much money all his crooked businesses were making so Jesse interrupted him.
"Ya know Boss, I'm a successfull businessman myself. I made $1572 selling firewood last year. That means that in 2008, my business outperformed Chrysler, Merrill Lynch, A.I.G., and Leyman Brothers by $430,000,001,572".

I'm in the middle of a book called "The Case for Faith" by Lee Strobel. I read it a couple years ago but it is worth reading again. His logic for believing in God makes so much sense.

Speaking of names, just my bad luck, the only person ever named Roger on the show was a bad guy. Duke Gaylord Duke was really Roger Blevins back in England.
