I'm like 'ol Jesse. I wouldn't leave if they gave me a billion. I bought my property in 1979, the first year Dukes came out and it is just as much a part of me as my arms and legs are.

RogerDuke got a reaction from Neil in Identify General Lee's destroyed per episode
I sure wish I could help you Neal. Welcome to the HazzardNet though. Even if nobody here is able to help we hope you stay around and check the place out and make some comments. It's not as busy as it used to be but there's a wealth of information here. Good luck in your search.

RogerDuke reacted to Neil in Identify General Lee's destroyed per episode
Hi everyone
A few years ago I found a Facebook user who was working on how many General Lee's had been estimated to be destroyed per episode and by each season.
He had used HD to pick up on the difference between each car used and even which ones had reused doors from previous jumps.
His estimated numbers wasn't as high as how many had been destroyed but unfortunately I can't find the post and I haven't found anyone else who had done similar research.
Has anyone on here or any other pages done a similar thing before as I'd like to check it out. I believe Season 2 and 3 the cars had most continuality errors and different cages miss minor dents ect are best ones to check.
Look forward to hearing back.
Chears Neil and thanks

Its really unfortunate that F1 doesn't postpone a race a day or two in extreme circumstances like this one. They should look into changing that rule. I hope all the fans in attendance got a refund, if not a refund then free tickets to next year's race there.

The good weather's holding over here, so we took another trip to the seaside today. We started with a walk around the cliffs, and followed that with a few hours on a nice, quiet beach. I even had another little swim. We finished off the day going along the coast to a place called Youghal. It reminded me of Dukes, because it's pronounced "y'all".

Did ya make out like a bandit? Or did the bandits get you?
Found out last month this one guy that has annual garage sales we go to got screwed before the housing boom. He sold his cabin on Lake Erie for nowhere near what it was worth because he had some medical bills to pay. The buyer lowballed him and with Covid lockdown beginning he figured he wouldn't get a better offer so he took it.

A small F1 excursion here. This weekend the Grand Prix is at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium - a favorite track of mine and many of the drivers. In free practice earlier today, Fernando Alonso (back in F1 after racing in the Indy 500 and Le Mans over the last few years) had a helmet camera to give a driver's eye view of the track. I'm prevented from embedding the video, but you can see it on YouTube.

Kurt Busch is moving to the 2nd car for 23XI Racing in 2022 will be driving #45 https://nascar.nbcsports.com/2021/08/27/kurt-busch-to-drive-second-car-for-23xi-racing/ with that Kurt will be the only current driver to drive for every manufacturer since his debut in cup. I wonder since this is Kyle and Adam Petty's old number if that means they are getting the charter that RPM is currently leasing to RWR.
And the car numbers are moving forward

Well another rumor on Twitter is 23XI racing will be buying or leasing a charter from Front Row Motorsports and FRM will switch from Ford to Toyota for 2022 as another JGR satellite team.

The Belgian F1 Grand Prix turned out to be a bit of an anti-climax, but it did make history. They say that the location of the circuit gives it its own micro-climate, and today that meant rain! Because F1 can normally run in wet weather, they don't have the option to hold the race over to the Monday. The rule is normally that the race must be completed within three hours of the start time, including delays and stoppages. They rewrote the rules today to start the race three hours late. The drivers completed just over two laps behind the safety car before the race was red-flagged, and half points were awarded. The 2021 Belgian Grand Prix now becomes the shortest F1 race in history. Let's hope that the weather's better when they return to Zandvoort in the Netherlands next week for the first F1 race there since 1985.

Hey Skipper is it technological possible to post a link of this thread and post it on FB? A lot of Dukes fans would love it and it could bring more members to HN

RogerDuke got a reaction from Skipper Duke in Hughie Hogg's VW Beetle -- Work In Progress
I'm not a fan of the reunion movies but Hughie would have been the best choice. It would have made Boss's death just a little easier to take, knowing he would have approved of Hughie taking his place....even though Huggie drove him nuts.

Another project! Coolness! I'm out of reactions or I would have hit more likes. Did you see that Hughie just turned 70? I posted it a few days ago.

No the rain didn't get me but it was close. I'm about 70m east of Nashville and that's ( Waverly in Humphreys county) about 75 miles west of Nashville.
