RogerDuke got a reaction from Skipper Duke in Super Bowl pick
LOL That's funny. Winning the Super Bowl would be a bigger miracle than the Cubs winning the World Series......Garrett's the only person I know who thinks the Lottery can be won without a ticket....ya gotta admire that kind optimism.

Woops, you're obviously way better than me at this game so I'd better quit while I'm ahead (I'm not really ahead I just like to think I am) At this point I'll be lucky to just to keep my tail out of the HazzardNet jail.

RogerDuke reacted to Skipper Duke in Mistakes (Bloopers)/Things I've Noticed About The Show
I caught a mistake in Mary Kaye's Baby and one in Hughie Hogg Strikes Again. The MKB one is during the chase with McQuade & Leo. Luke is driving, then Bo. It doesn't show them make a switch. The HHSA one is Bo driving in the opening scene, and then it's Luke when Hughie in the motorhome runs them into the drink.

'Treasure of Hazzard' was on earlier, and there's a scene near the end where Daisy and Boss are fighting over the box with the payroll in it. As the others run over, I'm not convinced that that's Denver on the right. It's odd because he's in the other scenes at the end (the inset picture is taken about 30 seconds later). What do y'all think?
His hair looks more gray than white. Maybe it's the same double who was caught in the shot below from 'Mason Dixon's Girls'.

$50,000 per toe! Wow!
I'm one of the world's biggest Dukes fans so that makes me kinda famous too. Maybe I'll start saving my toenail clippings and selling them online.

A little girl was staring at me before Christmas ( she was with her grandmother, I think), at the bank and I waved my beard at her and said " Ho ho ho , if you're not good, I won't come and see you." Her grandmother leaned over to her ear and while she looked up at me, she pointed and said, " You see there? That's what I've been telling you?" LOL! Even the girls behind the counter laughed!

And you're good at what you do. Alan would be grateful, proud and thankful. I'm still waiting for my beard and hair to get whiter so I can be a tribute for Jesse. I'm only 175 pounds so I need to work on that too! I'd better drink more high fat buttermilk!

Got another 4.5 inches of snow Thursday night into Friday morning bringing the total in 6 days to 11 inches. Expecting another 2-4 tonight then possibly few more inches Tuesday morning, then right now the forecasters are calling next Saturday "one to watch" which means it could dump several inches of snow or just one inch. My back is screaming from all the shoveling I've been doing.

That's so interesting Skipper. I knew Sorrell was like that but didn't know Alan was. I just thought of something.......you are probably the biggest Skipper fan in the world. That makes you a bit of a celebrity too.

RogerDuke got a reaction from mopardan in The coolest cars in Hazzard!
Thanks for knowing how I feel T.J.
It's getting to the point that poor people can't even work on cars anymore. It's a good thing there are no computers in Hazzard 'cause poor Bo and Luke would have never been able to afford to work on the General if it had all the gizmos on it that these modern monstrosities do.
If I looked under the hood of a 1969 Charger I'd be able to tell you what 95% of the things are and what they do. If I looked under the hood of a new car, I bet I wouldn't know 5% of what's there.
You can't even see spark plugs anymore, let alone replace them. I used to be able to change starters, distributors, alternators, fuel pumps, carburators, water pumps and power steering pumps. Now I can't even find them.
(I've looked all over the place for the carburator on my fuel injected Volvo but it's nowhere to be found...LOL)

Hey there Tony! How have you been? I hope you're doing well. You're right about the cars. However there is a price to pay for everything. When thinking about the loss of those cars realize that they weren't the valuable classics back then that they are today. Nobody would make a show today if it meant destroying 300 Corvettes from the 1950s. Also consider what came from losing those Chargers. One of the most iconic televisions shows in human history brought joy to millions (dare I say a couple billion) people for years and here we are 40 years later and many of them are still finding happiness and many fans who haven't even been born will someday enjoy it. Sure, the glory days of Dukes are never coming back and fan numbers decrease with time (like all iconic shows do) but the Dukes will outlive us currrect fans in some form or another. For Charger fans it can be difficult to think about those cars but look at it this way. Their loss led a fellow Charger to climb to the top of the mountain as the most famous and recognizable car in history.....the General Lee. I doubt anything will ever replace it.

Yes Sorrell was like Alan Hale Jr. Skipper of Gilligan's Island. Neither actor minded being typecast. They both loved being their respective characters everywhere they went. Alan could always be seen walking around wearing that same blue jersey that same black hat the same khaki pants even the same blue shoes.

Roth Potter... That picture of Bo and Luke is from Season 4. The end of Mrs. Daisy Hogg. With Boss and Uncle Jesse too. They are all outside the courthouse. It's the "When your own kin lets you down, it's gotta hurt." "Oh it does. It does Jesse. I wanna thank you kindly for your sympathy. I mean I know you know how I feel, and you don't know how lucky you are having 2 nephews who died and all criminals." "What do you mean, criminals!? Them boys ain't criminals!" "They ain't? Well, then, what else are they?" "Well, they're just good ol' country boys is all." "Though I'm glad there wasn't no wedding, ain't amazing how love can bring enemies together? Even for a short time. Especially in Hazzard County."
