Thank you Roth for your kind words. I REALLY appreciate it And, now, a new chapter: "A small notebook". Catherine, the journalist, is starting her "research" among Hazzard's folks. Hope you enjoy it. Just one question: I remember an episode where Enos' absence is explained as "he's in Capital City to visit some relatives"... or cousins... I don't remember.

OUCH. I remember pretty well that feeling. Get ready for a yellowish bruise surfacing on your cheek in the next days (oh, well, sometimes it happens)... so bringing people to ask you "What did happen to you???", LOL. Fortunately I had a small bruise just for one tooth (I had all four wisdom teeth removed... not at the same time!!! Obviously!!) but someone I know had, some days after, a cheek so livid as if someone punched her. It depends a lot of how long the operation has been: I had no problem with my upper wisdom theet (they "surrendered" quickly) whereas I had some problems with one of my lower ones... it was bent and the dentist had to "mill" the mandibular bone (really) and then cut the thoot in two parts before to remove it. I felt no pain (just some cold sweat), just a bit of pain for the next couple of days, but I can't forget that mill's sound. BRRRRR. I HATE dentists; I'm scared every time I go to a dentist to have a check. OK, sorry for my digression. GREAT pictures as always, and, yeah, the last one about Catherine is new, to me, TOTALLY new (never seen her with that outfit).

Yeah, for sure Facebook and Twitter "stole" people from various Forums (not only this one). I use Facebook, I have my page and I created one devoted to Enos Strate.... but a Forum is something totally different. In FB you can't talk the same way than in a Forum, in my opinion. Anyway, Roger, you pointed out something I also was noticing, and that saddens me. I find scaring the absence of Moderators, for example. I know people are busy with real life, any of us has his real life, but... I don't understand this silence. You know, I decided to write fanfic thanks this Forum (and thanks to the great Round Robins ongoing) and I remember the great challenges (I had a lot of ideas from them). I admit I also "abandoned" this Forum for a while (I read the posts but I didn't join in), too much focused in my writing, whereas now I'm finding back the passion for the TV-show, above fanfics. I'm here since 2007, and, thinking at those times, yeah, this Forum seems now as DEAD. It's sad. And I don't know what to do to "revive" it. I keep on skimming it, posting something here and there, and linking my stories, but... it seems it isn't enough. SO, I'M GOING TO MAKE A PLEA TO GUESTS!!! Come on guys, I know you're out there, looking at old and new posts, several "guests" reaching the Forum every day. UNWEAR THE MASK OF GUEST AND REGISTER TO THE FORUM. Add your posts to the thread you're reading, thought something simple as "I like read it, I was wondering if.... blah blah blah". Sometimes I feel like if a lot of people are somehow shy or discouraged 'cause they think "I don't know what to say, there are people who think the same things I'm thinking of but they're better than me in saying it, so it's pointless to add my opinion". In effect, I joined this Forum in 2007, after several YEARS spent just reading it 'cause I felt that way (I thought I had nothing to add/say). So, LET US FEEL YOUR PRESENCE and STOP BEING JUST A GUEST. YOU GUEST, who's just read the thread about Hazzard's map, yeah, YOU, I'm talking to YOU you: what are you looking for? And you, looking for retired Round-Robin... what RR are you looking for? Why? Do you want to see some stories completed?

I'm waiting to know especially about "odd tidbit about the stars". I'm EAGER to know what happened behind the scenes.

OMG, Roger, we're not SO old!!! LOL

Really? The same facility? OMG, never noticed. Sometimes I feel like coming from an alternative universe. (I don't notice obvious things to anybody and I notice small small small things nobody else notices). OHHH yeah, I can say I watched Hazzard the FIRST time it was aired. I was a child, but I remember how much I was eager to see it and my happiness (happIness, LOL) when my sweet Enos showed up.

I think everybody noticed it. In this new Forum, if you check "Who's online", you can see what thread guests are watching. I always check "who's online" 'cause it's GREAT, from time to time, re-watch some old threads. Yeah, you open the page "Who's online" and you bump into some old thread that make you nearly shout "OH MY GOD, I remember it.... and that story... and that user". And it brings a lot of reflections: - It's incredible how many people watch this Forum, ALL threads, the oldest ones too. It means this is a GREAT Forum, attracting DOH's fans year after year. - It's sad to realize the time's passing. I watch at those old threads with a mix of happyness and sadness. Sadness because I realize a lot of users are simply disappeared. Round-robins, challenges, chatting about episodes.... where are now all those people? Lost in real life, or driven to another Forum/TV-show/interest, and it's good... but it's sad too. - And the last obvious reflection.... I'm OLD!!!!!!!!

Oh.. YEAH. Just posted a new chapter, "Between gestures and words". Again, I liked to switch perspectives between Catherine Burns (the L.A.'s reporter), Daisy and Enos. I hope it isn't too much confusing, but I tried my best to show different POVs and feelings. Hope you enjoy it. And thank you for reading.

Yeah, I love writing using a different perspective (so imaging how a stranger could see Hazzard and Dukes). Funny. I wrote of Bo as the blond man and Luke as the brown (not dark) one... I suppose "blond and brown man" means man with blond hair and man with brown hair. I'm not English, as you... so I'm confused In italian there's no reason to say brown-haired man, 'cause brown is usually referred to hair and not to skin, as blond is referred to hair and not to skin... Some English out there to solve this doubt??? LOL I decided to call the reporter Catherine Burns thinking of Catherine Bach, yeah, you got it , but ... I wasn't thinking of George Burns. The surname Burns was... casual. Thank you for reading, and I'm glad you're enjoying.

Just posted the new chapter. "Strange fate". Quick update but I had really fun in writing this chapter. I've always loved to write of Dukes and Hazzard using an "external" perspective (through the eyes of a new character, someone who doesn't know anything about Dukes and Hazzard). So, now, image a L.A.'s reporter arriving to Hazzard and meeting Dukes and their "strange orange car", ROFL. Hope you enjoy it.

"You really seem to take all the characteristics of the characters, explore them and add feelings to them in the way we expect people from hazzard to react. What I mean to say is that everything in 'Shattered' is something which could most definitively happened in Hazzard County." Roth_Potter gave me the best compliment EVER. THANK YOU!!!! :-)) I'm really glad to write this story, 'cause I've found something to say above the plot in itself, and a way to explore characters: as I said elsewhere, writing for me it's not just a matter of "plot", but I usually try to say something more in a story... and this story is about idealism and honesty (despite the thorny topic about police brutality). I want to THANK everybody is reading it, I really appreciate it and I'm really happy to realize how many people are reading it. And I hope the "sense" of this story is going to reach the readers. Obviouly, it's just a DOH's fanfic, and I'm doing my best to keep the story "in Hazzard". So, I think in the next chapters you're going to meet some of Hazzard folks... Miss Tizdale, Granny Annie, and... maybe... Emery Potter :-)) It's a broad story involving ALL Hazzard, all the town around its beloved deputy.

Sonny... Sonny.... SONNY!!!! There are few pictures of Sonny behind the scenes... I'd like to see more of him :-)) (I'm a fan of Enos/Sonny, if someone hasn't realized it, yet, LOL). Anyway, GREAT pictures, all of them, as always. I love "Boss" wearing glasses. Thank you!!!

THANK YOU SO MUCH for your kind words, Roth. I really appreciate it, and I'm glad you like it though you mostly dislike to read books and stories (whereas I'm a fanatic reader... I'm actually reading THREE books together... books are like a drug, for me). OK, and now... JUST posted a new chapter, "Hot milk". Do you like drinking hot milk in the night? Dukes for sure like it, really relaxing. Hope you enjoy it (I mean... the chapter, beside hot milk, LOL).

Watched the episode (for the first time) only Yesterday. I always avoided it 'cause a lot of people said ut's the worst episode ever. I don't know if it's the worst episode ever... for sure it's themost weird one, LOL, but FUNNY!!! I enjoyed it, some way or another,

REALLY love this one. Boss was a sort of "oddball" (I don't know if it's the right word) in the show (and the same for Rosco, in a less extent), so you can't see Sorrell behind the character, whereas these pictures are showing me the actor behind the mask, and it's beautiful. :-))

ROFL. One of the FUNNIEST episode EVER. Rosco and Boss dressed as Daisy and Lulu were priceless!!!! And this picture is even more funny, James' "sexy" look, Sorrell's "mysterious" one, and Tom's "perplexity".

Just posted the new chapter. "Closed window" It's a chapter really meaningful, to me, 'cause in this chapter there's MY idea of World and MY idealism (reflecting Enos' idealism) through uncle Jesse's words. It's the chapter that explains the REAL meaning of this story, it's WHY I'm writing this story. After all, it's what my signature is about, writing is digging up myself. :-)) Writing fanfic, for me, it isn't just a simple writing a story and a simple keeping alive my favorite characters (yeah, in part I write because of it), but I write for digging up my values, emotions and... what's important to me, in life (and maybe it's why I write more slice-of-life stories than action stories). Hope you enjoy it.
