  1. Bo watched from the small window as he was driven away from the farm, seeing something move at the farmhouse door and realising Luke had seen him being carted away....but hadn't come to say goodbye to him....that stung quite a bit to the young Duke, who probably would have been able to cope if he had had Luke's promisesa that he would come visit...that Bo would be alright and that he wouldn't be there for long. If Luke had stayed away that had to mean that he probably wouldn't be coming back again at all...or that Luke thought it wasn't worth having a cousin that was so weak anymore... Swallowing he turned and rested back against the wall to which he was chained to...just precaution of course..they didn't know what kind of maniac they were dealing with...the men never said the second part of course but he knew they were thinking it from the wary glance his escort kept giving him, expecting him to explode and make a fuss at any minute. But for the first time in months, Bo was more subdued than that, more focused on the fact that Luke had left him to be driven away without so much as a muttered goodbye or a supportive hug than on the small space in which he was confined.
  2. Luke tapped his fingers nervously on the arms of the wheelchair he was confined to, not about to be taken back to his room by any means. He was going to be here when the brought Bo back and he was going to find out what was happening with his little cousin come hell of high water. This wasn't a game anymore, this was his baby brother fighting between life and death and there wasn't a soul of physical imparement that was going to stop him supporting Bo as he always had done.
  3. Bo hugged his Uncle tightly, never wanting to let go but not wanting to put his uncle through the pain of having him torn out of his arms. Slowly he pulled away and turned to face the two men, holding out his arms when he was told and letting them put him in the jacket and restrain him in it, eyes closed and looking to the floor as they led him to the van, not knowing Luke was watching from the doorway.
  4. Bo swallowed, feeling them trying to prise them apart and swiftly lets go, not wanting to make this harder as he already felt his heart breaking at having to leave, being so weak minded that he couldn't accept his family's help, letting the men hold him back away from B.L.
  5. Bo held her close and closed his eyes, resting his head on her shoulder as he felt Jesse's hand rest gently on his, knowing it was time for him to go as he heard Jesse softly talking to the men, hearing something like precautions and good care.
  6. Bo carefully put his hand on B.L's arm and shook his head, getting up and standing slightly behind her and turning her round but not saying anything, watery eyes just begging her not to make this any harder than it already was. In reality, he was more cowering behind B.L, buying more time in order to stall leaving the farm.
  7. Bo looked up as he heard the wheels and doors and swallowed hard as his heart skipped a beat, realising they were there for him. Looking to Jesse, the fear could be seen plainly in his eyes as B.L. ran over, soon followed by the people coming to get him, holding a straight jacket.
  8. For a long while there was nothing but the sound of gentle crying on the Duke Farm until a half hour later on the dot, Daisy looked up as she heard wheels and saw the van that had come to take Bo away from them. She noticed to her horror how much it looked like a prison van and saw when they opened up the back that while they had tried to make it look friendly and comfortable, there were straight jackets hung on one of the walls and chains hanging along the other above a padded bench. Shaking her head, she got to her feet and ran inside, not being able to watch this happen to her baby cousin, running straight past Luke and accidentally elbowing him a little as she passed and slammed the door.
  9. Bo looked to Jesse as he cupped his cheek and wiped his tears, wondering how long it would be before he got to feel that again, wrapping his arms around his uncle and crying into his shoulder.
  10. Daisy watched him go as well, shaking her head as she sat down right on the middle of the ground and wrapped her arms around her knees, lowering her head as she cried softly. Bo nodded a little, tears slipping down his cheeks. He knew his family loved him and weren't sending him away because they didn't love him....truth was though, as much as he wanted to stop being a burden and get the help he needed at the same time, he was plumb terrified....
  11. Daisy swallowed and looked down. "Half an hour...." Jesse watched Luke with a sigh, shaking his head before going outside to find Bo, knowing where he would have gone because its the only place he could go without immidiatly having a panic attack.
  12. Daisy shook her head, sniffing as she tried to hold her tears in. "Me and Jesse talked about every possible way...its just with Boss breathing down out necks for the farm more than usual recently...I even took on extra hours at the Boar's Nest but Uncle Jesse says that I can't do that no more...that I cant keep doing that for a month and run the house....god B...Bo's so bad...he just...every little noise...just sets him off...." Jesse sighed and shook his head. "Luke I ain't standing here and arguin' my case ta ya when yer too stubborn to see that what we're doing to Bo is killing him...if something happens with his breathing or his heart there is nothing we can do about it but in a safe environment they can. They're coming to pick him up in half an hour."
  13. Daisy looked up, tears in her eyes as B.L. caught her, shaking her head as she ran her hands down her face. "Bo's not getting any better...he just had an argument with Jesse about a condition he's got that he ain't tellin' us about....and...Luke and Jesse are arguin' now because we need to send Bo to a professional...we just can't handle him like this...he's riskin' his life B...." Jesse shook his head "Luke we don't have time to give him months! J.D is breathing down our necks for the mortgage payment as it as and trying to help Bo and run the farm is too much for this family to do! Daisy's already worn down as it is with working extra shifts to cover the losses we're making where we cant concentrate on the farm! I can't let her keep doing that and so we have to admit defeat and let these doctor's help Bo."
  14. *One Week Later* Daisy winced as she kept her back to the argument going on behind her, hearing the door slam as Bo ran out of it and her older cousin yelling angrily back at Jesse, all thoughts of respect and obeying orders gone as the two faced off in the biggest battle of determination she had ever seen the two have. Luke was practically the co-patriarch of the Duke Family, the cousins went to him for advice as much as they did Jesse, and sometimes Jesse even went to Luke if there was something he needed to figure out with some help. But now the two heads of the family were dead set against each other. Swiftly she ran after Bo, not liking to leave him alone in his condition. --- Jesse shook his head as Luke yelled back at him, saying just as angrily back. "Now you listen to me Lukas Kevin Duke...I don't like the idea of sending Bo to those people anymore than you do but we just ain't makin' any progress with him, in fact he seems to be gettin' worse if anything! You heard the doctors, he nearly had a heart attack the last time we did this and there's some other complication that they are not eligible to say to us as per Bo's request that they don't! We need to get him professional help Luke...."
  15. Daisy sighed and cuddled her Uncle close again, watching Bo sadly.
  16. Daisy swallowed and looked back to Bo in the kitchen, glad Luke had gone somewhere else for the moment. If he heard this conversation he would hit the roof and then some. "But how are we gonna get him there....Luke ain't liable to let us do that to Bo...."
  17. Daisy swallowed softly as Luke soothed Bo, sighing gently before kissing his forehead and going out to help Jesse, whispering. "Uncle Jesse....maybe we can't help him...maybe he does need to go to those doctors...."
  18. Bo whined softly and whimpered a little as Luke soothed him, focusing on what he was saying and feeling the touch as he gently started to slip asleep, his breathing evening out slowly although it was still quite raspy.
  19. Bo closed his eyes a little, shifting gently on the couch as he tried to get comfortable but found that it caused a sharp jolt of pain to ripple through his chest, winding him and leaving him unable to breathe again as he looked up to Luke with wide frightened eyes.
  20. Bo walked inside shakily in between Jesse and Luke, feeling completly drained and out of breath as his heart still raced and his still healing chest tried to cope with it. He lay down on the couch and swallowed gently, looking to Daisy as she sat on the floor beside him and smiled a little, trying to reassure her it wasn't her fault.
  21. Bo shuddered and settled his head back into Jesse's touch, whimpering softly.
  22. Bo huddled in his arms and hid his face as he heard footsteps, knowing they were just Jesse and Daisy's, hearing their voices not too soon after but still not looking up. "Oh god....i'm so sorry Bo...." Daisy sighed gently, kneeling down and rubbing his back with Luke.
  23. Bo shuddered and cried a little, swallowing hard as his heart still raced in his chest. He knew it was just Daisy in that mask but still the shock of having her jump out had set him off, and he felt so very ashamed of that. He was beginning to think that maybe there was no cure to how he was feeling besides going to a psychiatrist...
  24. Bo fought a little longer until his brain registared it was Luke talking and Luke's firm grip holding him down to keep him from hurting himself. Slowly, his body relaxed in Luke's hold and he rested his head on the ground, ashamed and fearful tears falling.
  25. Bo yelled and struggled violently as he felt someone grab him, trying to keep getting away and run to a place where he wouldn't be scared.
