Ginger:"Would you let your wife wear this?" Producer:"Which wife?"

Ginger:"Your daughter!"

Gilligan:"How 'bout that robot? R2D2?"

Skipper:"Well, there's nothing dirty in that!"

Dubov:"Nincoompoopers, it's upside down!"

(Season 1 Goodbye, Old Paint)

Ginger:"Belly dancer?! I'm not a stripper!" Dubov:"Who said anything about stripper? Belly dancer!"

Professor:"Ginger, he means Bali. Bali dancer from the island of Bali." Ginger:"Well, why didn't he say so?!" Dubov:"I did. I said "Belly dancer!"

Pilot Episode Marooned

Professor:"Skipper. How long do you really think we'll be on this island?"

Skipper:"With that transmitter on the bottom of the ocean, we're stuck here. Unless we're spotted by a plane or a ship."

Professor:"That could be days, weeks, or even months. No wonder you insisted on building a shelter."

Skipper:"Correction Professor. 3 shelters. A his for the boys, a hers for the girls, and a theirs for the Howells."

Season 1 Goodbye, Island

Ginger:"Gee, I've seen brand new girdles that weren't as snappy as this!"

Skipper:"It's beginning to be like glue, even worse!"

Professor:"It certainly is! It's setting like cement!"

Gilligan:"It sure is! Look!" Jiggles fork back and forth on the plate and it vibrates (Boing)

Professor:"I wonder. I just wonder! Come on, follow me!"

Mrs. Howell:"Really Thurston, such matters, eat and run!"

Mr. Howell:"Positively vulgar!"

"Happy 60th Anniversary to Gilligan's Island!

On September 26, 1964, the SS Minnow set sail, and we were introduced to the lovable castaways who would capture our hearts. Six decades later, we're still laughing with the Skipper, Gilligan, the Professor, Ginger, Mary Ann, Thurston, and Lovey.

Who's your favorite character? Do you still dream of being stranded on a deserted island with a never-ending supply of coconuts?

Share your favorite Gilligan's Island memories and episodes in the comments!

Season 1 Two on a Raft.

Gilligan & Skipper are out at sea on the raft, trying to find civilization to bring back help. A heavy rain storm arrives, complete with thunder and lightning. The raft starts sinking under the strain of the rain.

Gilligan:"Skipper, do you think we should abandon ship!?"

Skipper:"It's too late! It's already abandoned us!"

Season 1 Two on a Raft. Gilligan & Skipper emerge from the ocean in a tired and exhausted state, both collapse on their knees onto the sand. Gilligan is carrying with him a long lone bamboo pole.

Skipper:"You alright Gilligan?"

Gilligan:"Oh, I'm fine Skipper."

Skipper:"What's that?"

Gilligan:"Well, I saved the raft."

Skipper:"Good work Gilligan!"

Season 1 Two on a Raft.

Skipper:"Must be the wail of the Marubi."

Gilligan:"Oh no!"

Skipper:"Oh yes! We better camouflage ourselves!" They are camouflaging themselves by stuffing leaves under their hats and in their clothes. Skipper stuff a tree branch down the back of Gilligan's shirt, who is ticklish.

Gilligan:" Hehehe!"

Skipper:"Stop that Gilligan! This is no laughing matter!"

"Did you know?

The lovable, hapless Wrongway Feldman from Gilligan's Island was inspired by a real-life aviator!

Meet Douglas "Wrong Way" Corrigan, who in 1938, famously flew from Brooklyn to Ireland... instead of returning to Los Angeles!

His unexpected detour earned him international fame and a permanent nickname.

Hans Conried brought Wrongway Feldman to life on screen, but Douglas Corrigan's daring (and slightly misguided) spirit sparked the character!

Share your favorite Wrongway Feldman moments!

Season 1 The Return of Wrongway Feldman

Wrongway:"That's awful! What is that!?"

Ginger:"It's coffee!"

Wrongway:"It's coffee!?"

Ginger:"Sure. We make it from fish. I mean, the instant's not as good as the regular. But here!"

Wrongway:"No! I don't want anymore!"

Ginger:"Skipper! He's ready!"

Season 1 So Sorry, My Island Now.

Skipper is stuck in Japanese Sailor's submarine.

Skipper:"I'm stuck!"

Gilligan:"You mean you can't get in?"

Skipper:"No Gilligan!"

Gilligan:"You can't get out?"

Skipper:"No Gilligan!"

Gilligan:"Then that's why you're stuck."

Skipper:"Yes Gilligan!"

Gilligan:"I got just the thing. Coconut Oil. It's nice and slippery."

Skipper:"But Coconut Oil is gooey!"

Season 1 So Sorry, My Island Now

Gilligan's Island fans... Ever noticed how every time Gilligan says "Smooth sailing" something goes wrong?

Season 1 Episode 1 Two on a Raft, when he says it, the rain storm came and made the raft sink. In Season 2 Episode 6 Quick Before It Sinks, when he says it, the ark they built falls apart during high seas and strong weather testing.

Season 3 Court Martial. Gilligan & Skipper have been dumped out of the simulation S. S. Minnow.

Professor:"Skipper!? Gilligan!? Are you alright!? Skipper, did you find out what went wrong?"

Skipper:"I think so! Gilligan, when you threw the anchor overboard, was the anchor line attached to it?"

Gilligan:"Anchor line attached? Anchor line!? What anchor line!? Well, nobody's perfect!"
