The Dukes of Hazzard: Racing For Home

Featured Replies

Anyone else notice the flub in Racing For Home the PS and PC versions of the game? The mission where you stop Boss Hogg's hijacked Caddy to save him, in the cutscene, when the General stops, and Luke gets out and walks and gets in the Caddy, Bo is not in the General Lee. There's bobody at the wheel.

Anyone else catch the mistake of black interior in the GL in the PS(PlayStation and GBC(Game Boy Color) versions of the game? But in the PC(Windows) version it has the correct tan.

I know I've seen an incorrect black tan interior somewhere else before but I can't remember where.

Cousin Roger maybe in some of the toys. Some 1:64 and some 1:24 scales have black and even some 1:18 scales.

Currently watching Mad Matty's playthrough of The Dukes of Hazzard Racing For Home on PS1 and I'm loving it! He's playing on Hard difficulty and hasn't failed a single mission yet - impressive! 5/27 missions down, let's see how he finishes! 🚗💨 #DukesOfHazzard #Gaming #PS1

I always play The Dukes of Hazzard Racing For Home PlayStation 1 and The Dukes of Hazzard II Daisy Dukes It Out PlayStation 1 on Easy mode. I'm thinking of challenging myself by trying out the Tuff and Hard modes. What do y'all think?

All done with my first ever time beating The Dukes of Hazzard Racing For Home PlayStation 1 version on Tuff difficulty. I only got caught by Deputy Enos Strate twice and Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane once. 😲 Enos didn't say anything either time he got me. But Rosco gloated "Alright you guys! Alright, get out of yer vehicle!" When he got me. 😂 Later today my first run thru of Daisy Dukes It Out on Tuff difficulty.

Just did it! I finally beat The Dukes of Hazzard: Racing for Home on PlayStation 1 on Hard difficulty with 0 arrests in 3 hours and 20 minutes! Feeling like Bo and Luke, outrunning Boss Hogg and Rosco all the way to the finish line 🚗💨👍 #DukesOfHazzard #RacingForHome #PS1 #GamingVictory

Nitrous Oxide tanks. That was the secret. Whenever I ran them over, I would wait as long as possible to press the button that activates them. Help me win. Use them at the crucial point when absolutely necessary on Mission 12 and 13. Same on Mission 17. I watched the YouTube gameplay movies first though. I knew what those modes Tuff and Hard had in store for me before trying them out myself. Those players are better than me. They beat it on Tuff and on Hard with 0 fails, 0 arrests 0 too much car damage etc.

I played this game on Tuff and Hard all while thinking to myself "Darn people on YouTube who posted the Tuff and Hard mode video game movies, I don't know how the heck you beat this game on those modes. Geez." 😂 Missions 12 and 13 had me wanting to throw my PlayStation 1 controller. 😂 Daisy Duke's Jeep Dixie is slow as a snail. 😂 That's why Rosco & Enos kept wrecking me making me fail. Too much car damage. Because the law improves their driving on Tuff and Hard modes.

I'm sad. I found a Dukes of Hazzard Racing For Home Trivia Game online before and played it. But I forget how or where I found it. Now I can't find no more. It was questions about the TV series but started out with Boss Hogg from Racing For Home saying his line from Episode 1 Scene 1 of the game. "They're gettin' away!"

Rosco replied with his line from scene of the "Khee khee khee Don't you worry chubby little buddy! I'll catch them Dukes. Keep yer gown down an' the pedal to the metal. Khee khee khee I'm gone." During the trivia game the siren is heard like they're chasing you. When the trivia game is over, when you complete the final question 3 more patrol cars show up blocking the road ahead of you. The little General Lee jumps them and the Dixie Horn plays, the little General Lee lands and drives away with the engine fading out as the little General Lee goes out of sight.

The Boss Hogg is very mean. 😂 In The Dukes of Hazzard Racing For Home PlayStation 1 PC and Game Boy Color, he has Rosco arrest Bo and Luke after they save his life from the hijackers who hijacked his Cadillac and stole his money. He has Rosco arrest the boys after they rescue him and get the money back for him. He does this to try and stop them from driving in the Overland Race which is the next day. 😲

It doesn't work. Daisy Uncle Jesse and Cooter get the bail money and get them out. 😀

I could be wrong but this may be related to the type of screens PlayStation and GameBoy would be out put on. Gameboy had no backlight so they often shifted tones of colors to make them appear better. The PlayStation also relies on scan lines for certain pictures to look a specific way. For example the sky might pop a bit more if playing on a crt tv.

So I had been playing the PlayStation and GBC versions on my phone with emulators. Well today I went down to my local game store and traded in two receivers for and a broken rock band controller for parts. Came out with, amongst two- well I just say the whole load. I got TMNT 2 and Sims 2 Pets for the PS2. Picked up a Betty Boop DVD for my mom. A copy of Munster Go Home, as well as a PS1 memory card for my PS2 and a copy of Racing for Home!!!!!!!! Probably gonna delete my ROM for the game off my phone since there are sadly no trophies for it anyway but I'm really happy to own this game again!!!!!!! I only had my PS2 for two weeks and already got me the game. A little store called AFK in East Liverpool, OH. They had two other copies but I made sure I got the best case, disc, and manual. Gona play it in a few moments once I cool off

Road Pirate... You need PlayStation 1 The Dukes of Hazzard II Daisy Dukes It Out, PlayStation 2 The Dukes of Hazzard Return of the General Lee, and Game Boy Color The Dukes of Hazzard Racing For Home now. You'll be all set if you collect them all. Or Xbox Return of the General Lee if you have an Xbox.
