Hey y'all! This is Miss Alma, Ben's wife. He fell and broke his hip this morning and is going to have surgery tomorrow. I know the power of Hazzard Nation'sPrayer Warriors..so please put ol' Cooter on your list and let's get him healed up in a hurry! God Bless you all.

Tell him we love him and we're thinking about him and praying for him. I hope he gets better soon because my car is stuck over on the east end of Mill Pond Road and I need a wrecker.

Today's update:

 

Hey y'all, Miss Alma again...first let me say that Ben is genuinely overwhelmed by the outpouring of prayers and concern from old friends all around the world. Although he says he is in " a heap 
of hurtin' " he is very happy despite the pain and as y'all know he is a tough ol' bird! There has been a slight complication and the surgery has been postponed until tomorrow morning (we hope) so Bless you all and Thanks for your love and kindness.

Friday update:

Good News! Good News!! Ben is out of surgery and the Dr. Is very pleased. Looks like it will be a pretty long recovery but I promise to take good care of him so he'll be back in the tow truck asap:) thank you from the bottom of my heart, Hazzard Nation. You really did make a tough time a whole lot better! XXOO Miss Alma

I should've read this earlier.  Very glad the operation seems to have gone well!

Thanks for the update Miss Alma. It sounds like he's heading in the right direction. 

Miss Alma, I hope you tell him we have a lot of people in Hazzard praying for him. I just saw this and prayed over him!  Keep us up on his progress!!  WE love you guys!!
