He fell and broke his hip this morning and is going to have surgery tomorrow. Mark B / Scooter Davenport Posted June 3, 2016 Author Report Posted June 3, 2016 Today's update: Hey y'all, Miss Alma again...first let me say that Ben is genuinely overwhelmed by the outpouring of prayers and concern from old friends all around the world. Although he says he is in " a heap of hurtin' " he is very happy despite the pain and as y'all know he is a tough ol' bird! There has been a slight complication and the surgery has been postponed until tomorrow morning (we hope) so Bless you all and Thanks for your love and kindness. Quote

Looks like it will be a pretty long recovery but I promise to take good care of him so he'll be back in the tow truck asap:) thank you from the bottom of my heart, Hazzard Nation.
