HossC Posted November 6, 2010 Author Report Posted November 6, 2010 I'm sure I remember an episode of Knight Rider (original) that started with this track - Michael was driving along beside the ocean, and I think KITT had the roof down. Can anyone back me up on this?. Quote
HossC Posted November 11, 2010 Author Report Posted November 11, 2010 Hazard - Richard MarxHow could I leave out a song with a name like that?. Unfortunately, Hazard Nebraska doesn't sound as friendly as Hazzard Georgia. Did he kill Mary, or did the sheriff frame him?. Watch the video, and decide for yourself. Quote
HossC Posted November 12, 2010 Author Report Posted November 12, 2010 An authentic Cockney song (Dick Van Dyke take note ). Rabbit is Cockney rhyming slang for talk (rabbit and pork = talk). When I worked in London, we used to have students from France, Spain and Germany doing work placements with us while they learned English. Cockney rhyming slang is difficult enough to explain to English speakers, so you can imagine the fun we had teaching non-English speakers . The song Self Preservation Society from the original (and best) Italian Job consists almost exclusively of Cockney rhyming slang. Quote
