HossC
I know several other posts make passing reference to die cast cars, and I'm sure everyone has at least one model of the General at home, but I want to know what else you have in you model garage. My collection is all 1:18, mainly Ertl with a few AutoArt and Shelby Collectibles:TV/Movie CarsGone In 60 Seconds (Original) Eleanor (1973 Mustang)Gone In 60 Seconds Eleanor (1967 Mustang) Bullitt 1968 MustangBullitt 1968 ChargerDukes Of Hazzard General Lee (Authentics)Dukes Of Hazzard General Lee (Authentics) BlackDukes Of Hazzard General Lee (Race Day)Dukes Of Hazzard General Lee (Black) Dukes Of Hazzard Double Zero 1968 MustangChristineGhostbusters Ecto-1Smokey And The Bandit 1977 Trans-AmVanishing Point 1970 ChallengerHerbieJames Bond Goldfinger Aston Martin DB5James Bond For Your Eyes Only Lotus Esprit TurboAustin Powers Jaguar E-Type (XK-E)Austin Powers CorvetteDazed And Confused White Lightning (Trans-Am)Blues Brothers Blues MobileStarsky & Hutch Gran Torino (Barris Edition)Standard Road Cars1965 Mustang GT350 Convertible (Chase Car)1966 Mustang GT3501969 Mustang Boss 429 (Chase Car)1970 Mustang Boss 3021971 Mustang Mach 12007 Mustang GT500 (Same paint scheme as '67 Eleanor)2008 Mustang GT500 KR (New KITT)1969 Pontiac GTO Judge1970 Plymouth AAR Cuda1968 Dodge Charger R/T (Chase Car)1970 Dodge Charger R/T1971 Dodge Charger R/T (Matco Tools)1967 Camaro Z281969 Mercury Cougar Eliminator1970 Chevelle SS 396 (box says 396, fender says 454)1970 El Camino SS 4541971 Plymouth Roadrunner (Like Daisy's, but Plum Crazy Purple)1969 Hurst OldsCorvette Mako SharkLamborghini Miura SVSierra Cosworth RSMercedes 500 SECBMW M 635 CSIFerrari 250 GT California (Similar to Ferris Bueller's Ferrari)There are still a few others I want to add if it weren't for money/space limitations - most a stored in boxes as I can only show about 8 at a time:(. RogerDuke
Very impressive!!What year is the Vette from Austin Powers? I've never see the movie. I'm a big fan of the mid 60s hard tops.
HossC
Very impressive!!What year is the Vette from Austin Powers? I've never see the movie. I'm a big fan of the mid 60s hard tops.Afraid it's a soft-top - the one from The Spy Who Shagged Me. Box doesn't give a year, and the net gives it anywhere from '65-'67. According to IMCDb the car in the movie was a 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray [C2]. The Mako Shark is another soft-top, and from '61, but it's the gorgeously detailed AutoArt version.Forgot to mention in original post, I also have a model of a 1955 Chevy 3100 pickup. It came in Teal, but I'm in the process of converting it to the beige truck Clint Eastwood drove in Every Which Way But Loose complete with toolbox, new mirrors, seat and bumpers. It's my first custom job, and it's on the back burner at present. Maybe I'll get back to it after the summer.
