Seasons Greetings(Christmas 09)/New Years Challenge?

Featured Replies

Too late for a Christmas challenge? Tonight, was reading through previous holiday stories. There are some really good ones, that were only a few pages. Focused on one character. Terrific longer stories too.

Here is the challenge:

Write a story that takes place around Christmas or New Years.

Even if you only get part of it done, share a preview and turn in when finished.

Maybe you have a story that you've never submitted, submit it!

Does that sound good?

Some days ago I was thinking to submit a Christmas story I wrote last year (and I posted to an italian fanfic site), and this challenge could be a perfect chance to translate it.

Seeing the title of this thread, got me thinking that there was no challenge for Christmas. There is still a few days to write one if wanted to. Perhaps I can think of a short one to write...something that may kick my other muses in gear. LOL. Nice idea, Daney! Thanks!

Well despite what I had said earlier, I doubt that I will be sending any in or writing any...due to the lack of time and my muse finally cooperating in my other story. Though it is great to see others writing and sending them in!

Thank-you Daney! After several months of being stuck on chapter three, I am definately not going to fight or argue with my muse when it finally wants to cooperate! May have chapter three done by New Years if luck continues to go my way...just hope my luck carries over into chapter four. ;) Thanks Daney!
