TomBo Posted February 26, 2011 Author Report Share Posted February 26, 2011 I have since put a dress up Edelbrock kit on thereValve coversAir Cleaner Then went with a KN type filter that was dyable yes dyable so I dyed it orange (the element itself) pretty cool.I cannot believe I haven't really taken any pictures of the engine since it's been completed but it came out great. TomBo Posted May 28, 2011 Author Report Share Posted May 28, 2011 Hey everyone just wanted to say it's been a long road and well that the General Lee in this thread MY GENERAL LEE and I will be in the Philadelphia Comic-Con with John Schneider all weekend this June!!!!!!!!!!It has really been a great time making this car and, well between the fun with my son, car shows, making people happy, winning trophies, the thumbs up & smiles we get every time we take it out and now we are going to spend the weekend with John and then taking it to Sperryville VA in August well it's been a fantastic journey and I wouldn't change it for nothing!Click the link below & scroll down and you will see MY CAR! LOLI saw that John Schneider was going to be a Comic Con in Philly so I made some calls & got a call back and low and behold (who says that anymore anyway LOL) anyway I got a call back to have my General Lee next to John as well as my buddys cop car Billy on the other side! She asked if I was available to do an event with Ben THAT FRIDAY in Maryland?! I scrambled and called her back to say we'd be there! Went and did Fred-Neck-Night at the Haryy Grove Stadium! How could I say no to that?!Heres the video from that shoot. Between all this and taking it to show after show with my now 7year old son and win after win it's just the most fun car I have ever owned! So glad I decidef to build this icon of a car! YEEHAW!!!!!!
