"At least save me my pie," he called over his shoulder as he walked on.

Bo laughed and headed back for home.

Luke went to the window that he knew was Jenni's and softly tapped it.

Jenni sighed from where she was laying on her bed, swallowing softly before going to her window.

"Can we take a walk?" asked Luke hopefully.

Jenni sighed, turning away again.

"Luke I got homework to do..."

"So bring it with ya...I'll help ya with it," he offered knowing full well she didn't need help.

Jenni sighed, sitting on her bed again as she called out.

"Luke I don't want any help...I just...want to be left alone this time okay..."

Luke shook his head leaning on the window sill. "Sorry...I don't leave my friends when they's hurtin..."

"Look go home! You got your own homework to do and I got stuff I need to do here. I don't want to talk about it, I don't want to do anything about it! I just want to be left alone!"

With that, she got up and walked out her bedroom, slamming the door shut.

Luke swallowed and headed back to the farm. He hated that she was so angry with him and though he didn't cry, he felt like it.

Bo was already back home, doing some homework at the kitchen table because Jesse had collard him as soon as he had walked through the door and had gotten him started on it.

Luke came inside, slamming the door as he did. "Girls..." He looked at Bo. "If you're smart, you'll keep far away from 'em.."

Bo jumped as Luke slammed the door, causing a big pencil mark to go across his page. He scowled deeply.

"Thanks a lot Luke..."

Luke paid no attention. Instead he just went to his room and threw himself on his bed.

Bo got to work rubbing the pencil line out and continuing on his work.

Luke lay on his bed staring up at the ceiling.

Eventually, Bo came into the room, having finished his homework, throwing his books back into his bag carelessly, muttering something about how stupid and pointless maths was, before looking to Luke.

"Take it Jenni didn't take to kindly to you goin' after her then..."

"Not at all," he said with a groan.

Bo nodded a little, jumping onto Luke's bed.

"So what ya gonna do now?"

"I'm gonna knock ya int' next week if ya don't get yer butt off my bed," said Luke giving hm a playful shove.

Bo chuckled, near toppling of the bed but somehow managing to stay on.

"No seriously what're ya gonna do.,.."

"She don't want me t' do nothin..." answered Luke sadly.

"Since when have you taken no for an answer from girls?"

Bo asked with a confused look on his face.

"Since this ain't just a girl...it's Jenni."
