Jaime grinned

"Cause that would make it too easy for ya..."

Luke laughed. "I recon so."

At that point, Bo walked into the room again with a smile and holding a brown paper bag.

"Hey there, your awake again then?"

Luke nodded to Jaime. "Can't sleep with her mouth goin a mile a minute...girls..." he said rolling his eyes teasingly.

Bo chuckled as Jaime looked indignant and said right back at Bo but directed at his father.

"And for once he's not talking about me...he's talkin' about the female doctor he's crushin' on..."

Bo laughed and shook his head,

"You know maybe I should come back later when I won't walk into a father/daughter battle zone..."

Luke gave her a playful glare before asking. "What's in the bag?"

Bo smiled and headed over to him.

"Thought you might want some edible food..."

Luke smiled at Bo's thoughtfulness. "Thanks."

Bo nodded and placed the bag on the table by Luke's bed.

"No problem...know from too much experience what hospital food is like...and no matter what cute doctor may be looking after ya, eatin' it never gets any nicer..."

Luke nodded. "Well so long as you didnt cook it..." he said with a mischievous grin.

Bo chuckled.

"Are you sure? I know you wanna stay here longer, food poisonin' is always a good excuse..."

"Nah...even that ain't worth eatin yer cooking for..." answered Luke with a smile.

Bo shrugged with a grin and put a hand on Jaime's shoulder.

"Right young lady, I think its about time you got home and to your homework ain't it?"

Jaime sighed and nodded.

"I suppose..."

Luke smiled giving his daughter a hug. "You be nice to yer uncle."

Jaime mock pouted before saying in a fake whiny voice.

"Do I have to..."

Bo chuckled a little.

"Yes you do... I don't want the baby t come cryin' t me cuz you hurt his feelins..."

Bo put one hand on one of his hips, pointing at Luke with a slight scowl.

"Your pushin' it too far now Lukas..."

Luke frowned not sure if Bo was serious or not.

Bo raised an eyebrow before smiling to Jaime.

"Come on then..."

Jaime nodded, kissing Luke's cheek before heading out the door with Bo following.

"See ya tomorrow cousin."

"See ya," he answered quietly. He hated when that happened.

Bo nodded and headed out after Jaime, putting an arm around her shoulders as he started to talk with her about things.

Luke sighed resting his head against his pillow a soft frown on his face.

The doctor returned with a nurse and some equipment not too long later, smiling to him as she gently lowered his foot to the bed.

"You ok?"

"Honestly, no... but I'm afraid you can't help much..." he answered softly.

The doctor gently started to work with the nurse on casting Luke's foot.

"Well why don't you just tell me about it instead....I'm gonna be here a while..."
