Luke nodded a little, moving to stand up, grabbing onto the sofa to steady him.

Jaime quickly stood up and supported him.

"You shouldn't be moving around...you need to rest..."

"I need to get to Bo...he's hurt...I know...he's hurt..." answered Luke pushing himself up again. "I hafta find him!"

Jamie swallowed hard, she had seen the dream too but she didn't think they were hurting Bo..not yet,...they would want to find Luke first and hurt Bo in front of him.

"Luke you can barely walk as it is...what use are you going to be to Bo in this state?"

"I don't know...but I gotta do somethin..."

"There's nothin' you can do right now...look....let me go out and see what I can find..."

Jaime said softly as she helped him to lay back down.

Luke sighed. "I appreciate the offer...I do...but yer what twelve years old...this ain't cops n robbers Jaime...these guys are mean...an' Bo's in trouble..."

Jaime put her hands on her hips and glared a little at him.

"Actually I'm 13 goin' on 14, and I know this ain't cops and robbers but what makes ya think you can do a better job than me in your state?"

He sighed. "I guess I don't."

"Exactly..." She replied firmly, hands on her hips.

He sighed feeling very helpless as he laid weakly against the pillow.

Jaime swallowed softly and sank down to sit on the dloor beside the couch.

"Look, the more you rest up the sooner you'll be better an' able to find Bo....but if yer ill you got more chance of getting captured.."

Luke sighed and nodded knowing she was right.

"I'll keep an ear and eye out for signs of Bo." She promised

"Be careful Jaime."

She smiled and flushed a little at his concern.

"I will...don't worry..."

He nodded laying back against his pillow.

Jaime watched him anxiously, wondering if maybe her and her mother should have called a Doc...and wishing her mother would get back so she could sneak out and go looking for signs of Bo.

Just as she was thinking thather mother bustled inside. "How's the patient?"

Jaime looked up with a small smile.

"He's tried to get up...Ma' I think we should call the Doc...he still ain't lookin' to well.."

She frowned. "Well, I'll call him... but you skidaddle...we don't need no one askin questions..."

Jaime nodded and headed upstairs to her room where she knew she was usually banished whenever someone came over usually.

Her mother looked at the pale young man on the couch. Checking to ensure that Jaime was safely upstairs she went to the phone and called a doc.

Jaime however didn't stay in her room very long. As soon as she shut her door, she went under her bed and retrieved the backpack she always took with her whenever she snuk out. She opened her bedroom window and climbed onto the windowsill, shutting it behind her, before shimmying down the drainpipe and running across the back garden, knowing her mother was in the living room calling the Doc. She reached the back fence and jumped straight over it, before running off in the direction she had found Luke. First thing to do, was to look around the site and see if she could spot anything that would lead her to Bo's whereabouts.

Luke fell into a restless sleep once more. Jaime's mother waited by his side until there was a knock at the door. Quickly she got up to answer it. "He's right in here Doc," she said as she led the man inside.
