She smiled and nodded a little

"Didn't expect ya to recognise me...it has been near 10 years now...I'm Ms Pedderstone..."

The name sounded vaguely familiar, recollection starting to dawn on him. "Jamie...I used to bring her a cookie every time I came..."

She nodded with a small smile

"Yeah you did..."

"But...you ...you lived in Hazzard then..." he said trying to make sense of it all.

Sighing, she nodded again and looked down at her lap.

"There were...changes which meant we had to move away from Hazzard...we moved out here where its quiet and peaceful..."

He nodded. "So...exactly...how far am I from Hazzard?"

"Well....about a county and a half away by the ridgerunner's routes..." She said gently

"So far away...need to find Bo..." he muttered.

The mother listened to Luke a moment before she stood up.

"I'm going to find Jamie...she ran off somewhere around the house.."

Luke nodded, watching her go.

Jaime was still sitting at the bottom of her bedroom door, trembling a little at what she had seen but slowly calming herself down.

"Jamie..." asked her mother bending over. "You ok?"

Jamie near jumped a mile when she saw and heard her mother, getting quickly to her feet and nodding.

"I'm fine..."

"You recognize him Jamie?" she asks. "He's Luke Duke...what brung ya cookies when ya was knee high to a grasshopper"

Jaime swallowed and nodded with a small smile and a sigh.

"Oh yeah....I wondered where i'd seen him before..."

"So what else did you find out?" asks her. "I saw ya with yer hand on his forhead."

Jaime swallowed a little and shook her head.

"Nothin' important..."

"Don't you lie to me girl..."

"Was just a dream is all, nothing important!" She near yelled back, not wanting to share this with her at all.

"It's important enough to raise your voice at me though...ain't it?" she shook her head. "I have to run into town and get some supplies...you stay put you hear me?" she asked before going downstairs and pulling away in her truck.

Jaime sighed and leant back against her door for a moment before heading downstairs once her mother had gone.

*looks up* jamie...little Jamie

Jaime looked him and smiled a bit, biting her bottom lip before going into the livivng room, sitting next to him.

"Yeah...s'me...cookie man.."

He smiled. "Chocolate chip still your favorite?"

Jaime nodded with a small giggle.

"Uh huh..."
