B.L. snuck upto the other window of the boys room so that she couldn't be seen from the barn where she'd seen Luke working. Supposing that Jesse and Daisy were inside. Looking in she saw Bo tidying up the room but not looking too happy about being stuck inside. Pecking on the window lightly she leant against the side of the house and waited for him to open it.

Giggles, then takes a cautious look out toward the barn to make sure Luke hadn't decided to check up on Bo. Not seeing him anywhere in sight holds out her hand to Bo.

"c'mon let's split before the warden catches us"

Once he was out the window they walked off through the woods to one of their favorite hiding places when they'd been younger.

Bo managed to grab his coat before B.L. helped him out the window, knowing that if Luke should catch them he could lessen the telling off he would get by wearing a coat and protecting his chest...even though he didn't have a cold or anything. Still. getting one that made him cough would be pretty dire so he decided to anyway.

He chuckled a little as they snuck out the farm and into the woods, to their small hiding place they had as kids. Grinning he sat down, sighing in relief and coughing a little.

"Thanks....B....B.L..."

Pulls his coat a little tighter around him and rubbed his back a bit as he coughed meeting his frown about her molly coddling with a don't mess with me I get the right to molly coddle cos I snuck you out look.

"ya ok?"

Can't help questioning worriedly if he got sick it'd be her fault for sneaking him out of the house. While she wouldn't hover as Luke was apt to do she wasn't go to not keep a concerned eye on him just to make sure he was ok.

Grinned patting his cheek gently.

"Just checkin', I'm in enough trouble already without ya gettin' sick on top of it cos I snuck ya outta the house."

Sighed she was sure to get yelled at by Luke and a stern lecture from Uncle Jesse if not taken to the woodshed to boot. It was worth it though Bo already looked more relaxed just for being out in the fresh air without someone hovering over him at every little cough or wheeze his lungs immited.

Bo closed his eyes as he put his hands behind his head, not sleeping as he wasn't tired, just content to listen to the world around him...something a little while ago he didn't know if he'd get to do again without being in bed with an oxygen mask on his face.

He had never told his family or his friends, and had asked the doctor's specifically not to tell them, that the doc's weren't sure if his lungs would recover from this, if they would get stronger again as he had had to be on supported oxygen for so long. He didn't want them to know because it would only worry them further, and he wanted to get through this on his own with having to do some stupid set of exercises that Luke and Jesse would make him do. He had some to do of course from the doc, but they didn't know that. He would do them every so often, but he would also do his own excerices, the ones he knew he could do and work at to make his lungs as strong as possible and keep them that way.

He had promised the Doc that he would tell them....but he just couldn't bring himself to put them through anymore of that kind of worry.

B.L. looked over at Bo and smiled seeing his eyes closed she knew he wasn't asleep,he just looked peaceful and content. She thought back to that day in the hospital when the doc had told them that Bo would probably need professional counseling to get over the mental anguish. Looking at him though she thought again that the doc had been wrong all Bo needed was the love and support of his family and friends and he would get over the ordeal. She believed as his body got stronger again that he would be able to at least put the experience behind him if not totally forget it.

Sighing again she closed her own eyes just listening to the peace around them. It was like old times again they didn't need to talk but just sit together and listen to the sounds of the birds and other wooded creatures around them and if you listened closely you could hear a little creek bubbling over the rocks not too far away. A casual listener would miss it,even their cousins might miss it but she and Bo were like a part of this place and could hear it plainly as if it was just outside a few feet away.
