Daisy laughed watching the two before dunking B.L.

"NO one picks on my cousin and dunks him 'cept me..."

B.L. squeals as she's dunked coming back to the surface pushing the hair from her eyes grinning.

"I just did....."

Turns around dunking Daisy with a chuckle only to be dunked again by Luke.

"That goes fer me too.....ya can't dunk Daisy like that."

Comes back to the surface splashing him playfully.

Daisy spluttered and laughed as she surfaced and saw Luke dunk B.L before splashing her back as she splashed Luke before indicating her older cousin to pick B.L. up with her.

Luke nodded at Daisy and grabbed B.L. under the arms as Daisy grabbed her legs then picking her up they gave her a toss sending the screeching young woman through the air and splashing into the water. Surfacing moments later mock glaring at the two grinning Dukes.

"That ain't fair two against one"

Luke shrugged grinning at her.

Daisy laughed, wrapping her arm around Luke's waist.

"Ain't our fault your cousin's sleepin'."

"He'd prolly just help ya'll instead of me anyway..."

B.L. rolls her eyes giving Cooter's sleeping form on the bank a look. He protected her when it counted but picking on each other was just part of their relationship, both would do whatever it took to help the other come hell or high water as well.

Luke chuckled at B.L. and squeezed Daisy's arms as she wrapped them around him.

Daisy smiled up at him before kissing his cheek and resting her head on his chest. She loved to be like this with Luke sometimes, just to feel her older cousin with her, protecting her even though she didn't need protecting.

Luke held Daisy for a few more moments it made him feel like she still needed him when she hugged him like that. He knew she still needed him but it was more as a friend now than a protector.

Daisy smiled happily before pulling away and starting to go for a swim, gliding eaisly through the water.

When Daisy had swam off in one direction B.L. and Luke did the same. B.L. doing the backstroke and Luke just floating along peacefully. The three of them were as quiet in their activities as the two sleeping on the land.

For Bo, life hadn't been as simple and peaceful as this for many many months now. The noises didn't scare him anymore,..okay so maybe the occasional twig snapping made him a little jumpy but he didn't break out into a panic attack anymore and the sounds of the water and his cousins mucking around with their best friends didn't make him want to run and hide either.

No, for once life was simple for him again...well as simple as it ever got in Hazzard County anyhow.

Luke swam around for a while enjoying the peacefulness of their surroundings. Happy to see that Bo wasn't practically jumping out of his skin at every sound. Maybe things were starting to get back to normal or at least what passed for normal in Hazzard anyway.
