My father heard on the radio today that Dodge is bringing back the Chargers for the 2006 line. Anyone else hear this?

I once saw a picture of a concept car of the "new Charger." The car was made in '99, and had a 4.7Litre V-8 that was fueled by Natural Gas. (Of all fuel types, go figure.) I believe they ditched the idea since I have'nt heard nothing more about it.

From what I understand The charger is coming back as a 4 door car, it is suppose to replace the Intrepid. The Charger template was submitted to NASCAR last month for their approval . I am not sure what it will look like, maybe it will be like the concept of a couple of years ago..don't know yet...

Hey Capt and Eddie, I'll try and get ya some more info on that 4-door, but the only new Chargers I have heard about is the one in the link above. But I'll check my sources and see what I can find.

In the link above, it says the concept car ran on Propane, not Natural Gas as I previously stated. Ooops, I guess I was close enough.

Too bad the Plymouth name got dropped. I was hoping Plymouth would bring back the GTX.

Supposedley the Charger will run in NASCAR in the Daytona 500 and then will go on sell shortly after that...here are acouple of links

I saw pics of it the first day it was debuted in Detroit......long story short....I was some dissapointed....a 4-door Charger?

I saw pics of the new Charger sometime last year, the two-door kind. Gotta say, the body shape is reminiscent but it's like the new GTO...it's not the same thing. I doubt I'd be able to fit in any of these junkers, like every other new car out there. Give me a big steel machine any day.

For anybody interested, there's pics of the modern-day Charger somewhere in the Movie threads...I think it's "Cars we'd like to see on the big screen."
