Thanks to Hazzardnet being back! ********** "Pam, I don't know what to say to that," said Vicki sighing loudly as she & her sister were walking back towards the room. "Just think about it, Little Sister. It might do you some good to move to Oklahoma for a while," said Pam, placing her hand on her sister's shoulder as they walked back inside the hospital room. "Yeah, some good it will do me especially with my husband being gone right now," said Vicki sarcastically as she sat back down on her hospital bed. "You're pretty bitter right now, aren't you?" asked Katie. "You were acting the same way when Luke was gone to Atlanta for a few days," said Vicki as she stared out the window as she watched some clouds start to form. "Yeah, I was, Little Red. And I know that you can overcome this. What you need is a fresh change of your bitter attitude and your life," said Katie, smiling at her best friend. "And with our help, we will help you overcome this," added Pam. "So you can be happy again," said Katie. "We're only doing this because we all love you and we want to see you happy again," said Mary, placing her hand on her daughter's shoulder. Vicki stared outside at the clouds and sighed again. "You know, maybe y'all are right. Maybe what I need right now IS a change in scenery and a new attitude on my life in general."

"Little Sister, we finally found you!" exclaimed Pam as she caught up with Vicki & Katie. "Is it good or bad that you found me?" asked Vicki, looking in the nursey at the new babies. "It could be good, if you want to hear it," said Pam, looking in the nursey window. "I could use some good news to make me feel better about myself," said Vicki, sadly brushing a tear away from her face. "Anything can be better news than Bo going back out on the NASCAR circuit," added Katie. "Vicki has been crying off and on ever since he left again." "As soon as Doc Applebey can let you leave, Vicki, would you like to move to Oklahoma temporarily and help me run my horse ranch?" asked Pam, smiling at her sister. Vicki just stared back at her sister speechless...

Meanwhile, Vicki was reading a magazine in her bedroom when Pam walked in. "Hi," said Vicki, not looking up from her magazine. "Hi, little sister. You're being awfully quiet," said Pam as she sat down on the bed next to Vicki. Vicki sighed loudly. "I'm sorry. I have a lot on my mind right now." "What is it, little sister?" asked Pam. "I was just thinking WHY some crazed killer is terrorizing the Duke family. It eats me alive knowing that Bo was almost killed earlier this afternoon," said Vicki angrily as she looked out the window. "I know, little sister. I know," said Pam as she gave Vicki a hug. "I keep asking myself WHY? Who do I know would want to hurt the Dukes like that? I want to know some answers, NOW!" said Vicki angrily as a tear falls down her face. "Maybe you should go talk to Rosco about the attacks," said Pam in a comforting voice. "I could, but I'm not sure if Rosco will believe us. He might think that we're making them up," said Vicki as she looked out the window. "Vicki, I wouldn't fret over it. Afterall, Rosco is our god-father. I know that he will believe you tomorrow morning," said Pam, giving Vicki a hug then added, "I'm sure that everything will be all right." Vicki sighed loudly looking out the window towards the Duke property. "I hope so, Pam. I hope so."

Hi Y'all. I hope that you're having a great day today! I just changed the name of this story to RedHead's Emotional State. This title sounds better than what I had written down earlier. It fits my character's emotional personality right now. Talk to y'all later. Have a great night!

"Mom, I wonder where Vicki went? She's in no state to be by herself right now," said Pam as she looked around the hospital room. "I know, honey. She's very depressed right now," said Mary as she looking around the room. She noticed Katie's purse on the floor next to a chair by the bed. "She's not by herself. Katie is with her." "Well, that's good. I was afraid that Vicki might have left the hospital," said Pam worriedly then added, "Maybe we better go look for them." ******** "Vicki, are you ready to go back to the room? We've been walking for over an hour," said Katie as she followed the redhead down the hall. "I guess so, Katie," sighed Vicki loudly. "Are you all right?" asked Katie. "I'm better than I was earlier when Bo was here. Do you mind if we stop at the nursey for a minute? I want to take a look at the new babies," said Vicki as she sat down in a chair in the hall of the hospital. "If you're feeling up to it, Little Red. I'll be there for you," said Katie as she and Vicki were walking slowly towards the nursey.

Daisy looked petrified with fear. "Why is this crazy killer trying to hurt us?" she asked fearfully. "I have no idea, Daisy. But I wish I knew who this killer was," said Bo angrily trying to calm Daisy down. "I don't know either, cousin. This person is after us for a reason," said Luke, taking a look out the kitchen window. Daisy looked up at her cousins shaking. "Shouldn't we try and find out why we're getting attacked?" Bo nodded his head. "Yeah, we have enough here to tell Rosco about the attacks. I have proof that I was attacked and beatened." Bo showed Luke, Daisy, and Jesse the rope burn welts on his wrists. "But Rosco will probably say that we made all this up," said Daisy worriedly. "I know, but with Vicki around here when the attacks happened, he'll have to believe us," said Bo as he looked out the kitchen window.

"Daisy! Look out!" hollered Bo as he pushed Daisy out of the way just in time. "Daisy! Are you all right?" Luke asked as he helped Daisy off the kitchen floor. "I'm all right," said Daisy shakely then added, "What happened?" "Cousin, you were narrowly gotten hit by a huge rock that was thrown in here," said Bo angrily as he picked up a note that was wrapped around the rock. "Hey! There's a note wrapped around this rock, and its addressed to you." Bo gave Daisy the note. "Thanks, I think," said Daisy a bit dazed as she opened the note. Daisy read a couple of words, then gasped loudly. "Oh...my...gosh!" "Honey, what is it?" asked Jesse worriedly. "It's this note! Someone is out to kill us!" said Daisy as she handed Luke the note. Luke read the note aloud: "PREPARE FOR YOUR DOOM! I'M COMING BACK TO GET EVEN! YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ARE GOING TO GET HURT PAINFULLY!" Angrily, Luke then crumbled the note, and threw it in the trash.

A few hours later, Bo, Luke, and Daisy were cleaning up the kitchen after supper. Jesse was watching and looking concerned at Bo. Bo was very quiet since the attack earlier this afternoon. "All right, you kids just sit down at the table. I want to talk to you," said Jesse. "Why?" asked Bo as he was putting the dishes up in the cabinet then added, "I don't really want to talk about the attack, Uncle Jesse." "I want to know everything that happened earlier this afternoon out in the barn. Now sit down!" said Jesse in a stern voice. "Yes, sir," said Bo as he, Luke, and Daisy sat down at the kitchen table. "All right, now tell me everything that happened inside the barn, and why our creekbed exploded," said Jesse. After a few minutes, Bo, Daisy, and Luke told Jesse everything that happened inside the barn. Jesse listened to the story. He couldn't believe that Bo was assaulted & beaten out in the barn by a crazed killer. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a huge rock was thrown into the open kitchen window towards Daisy & Bo!

AUTHOR NOTE: Sorry I haven't been online much, due to my computer being down at home, but I will be working hard to finish up this storyline so I can start a new story in the next few days. ********* A few days later... A few days later, Vicki was somewhat better. She was still in a deep depression and very sad, but she knows now that she did lose the baby. "Katie, can you help me?" asked Vicki as she was pushing the buttons on her control pad so that she can sit up in bed. "What do you want me to do?" asked Katie, a bit startled as she noticed the redhead sitting up in bed. "Just help me out of bed. I want to take a walk outside. I've been in bed long enough," said Vicki in an sad, shallow voice. "Are you sure? You still look real pale. Your face is white," said Katie as she put a protective arm around the redhead. "Katie, I'm postive!" barked Vicki then added, "I need to start walking around so I can go home soon." "Okay, okay. I think that you are feeling a little better. Where do you want to go?" asked Katie as she opened the door for a shaky Vicki. "Just a walk down the hall, Katie," said Vicki, taking a few shaky steps as she & Katie walked outside in the hall of the hospital. Meanwhile, Pam & Mary came to visit Vicki in the hospital, but when they arrived, the redhead was gone!

"How are you holding up, sugar?" asked Vicki as she & Bo were walking slow behind Daisy & Luke. "Just peachy, Little Red. My arms & legs are killing me," said Bo, moaning slightly. "You'll be fine in a minute, sugar. We're almost inside the back door," said Vicki. "I hope so, sweetheart," said Bo, putting his arm around Vicki's shoulder for support. Moments later, Luke, Daisy, Bo, and Vicki were walking slowly into the back door of the farmhouse. "Sweetheart, can you help me to a chair?" moaned Bo then added, "My legs are hurting some." "Of course, sugar. The circulation in your legs must not have returned yet," said Vicki, putting her arm around Bo's waist then added, "Just a few more steps." "Uncle Jesse, we finally found Bo," announced Luke as Jesse, Vicki's sister Pam, and Vicki's best friend Katie Williams came walking into the kitchen. Jesse looked wide-eyed at Bo. "Bo, what in tarnation happened to you?" "It's nothing, Uncle Jesse." "Yeah, right. Why do both of your wrists look infected?" asked Jesse. "Uncle Jesse, I'm fine. Really, it's nothing," said Bo. "Vicki, did you do something to Bo?" asked Pam. "Well, the only thing that I did was that Luke, Daisy, & I found him beaten up and tied to a bomb box out in the barn," said Vicki. "Well, that would explained the explosion that we heard earlier," said Katie. "Bo, I know that you have been attacked," said Jesse worriedly, looking Bo over then added, "I think that I better clean those cuts on your hands, and then call Doc Petticord to have him come out here and check you over good. You have bruises all over your face." "No, Uncle Jesse. You don't need to call Doc Petticord. Honestly, I'm fine. I'm very grateful that I was found inside the barn," said Bo as he stared into Vicki's blue-gray eyes as he gingerly grabbed Vicki's hand across the table. Vicki smiled back at Bo speechless.

"Sweetheart, our baby doesn't exist anymore. Don't you remember? You lost the baby during surgery," said Bo sadly as he continued to cradle Vicki in his arms. "So it was my fault," said Vicki as she started to wept uncontrollably. "Sh...honey. You didn't do a thing. It was spontaneous. These things happened sometimes without warning, and nothing you can do or don't do can prevent them," said Bo as he gently kissed her forehead & cheeks. "Bo, I know that you are devastated. I am too. I know that I let you down," said Vicki as the tears continue to fall. "Sweetheart, you didn't let me down. You have to believe that," said Bo. "I know how much deep down that you wanted this baby. I did too," said Vicki, looking away from Bo as the tears continued to flow. "Honey, this wasn't your fault. Please stop blaming yourself. You need to rest," said Bo as he continued to cradle Vicki in his arms. Hadn't Doc Applebey said that he gave Vicki a shot? Why wasn't she drifting off? Maybe she was too agitated to go to sleep. "Bo, I don't think that I can stop blaming myself. I let you down, and it's all my fault. Sometimes I wish that things would have worked out differently," said Vicki sadly as her heavy blue-gray eyes finally close. "Sweet Angel, if you're still awake, we will work everything out. I will help you overcome our loss," thought Bo as he brushed away the tears off his face, continuing to cradle Vicki in his arms until the redhead finally fell into a deep sleep...

Bo took Vicki's cold hands between his and tried to rub some warmth back into them. "I know how you feel, honey. I know." "Bo, I didn't even know that I was pregnant, and yet, I lost a baby! I feel so lost and lonely," said Vicki as the tears start to fall down her face. Bo reached up to brush away her tears. "The main thing is, sweet angel, that you're okay. I'm so sorry that it happened to us." "The last thing that I remember was that Katie and I were walking towards you, Luke, Coy, and Vance. We were going to arrest y'all for reckless driving and evading us. That was when a sharp pain caught me, and I doubled over. I--I think that was when I passed out," said Vicki as she began to sob softly. "Sh...honey. You don't have to go over it. It's going to be all right. Please rest now," said Bo as he was cradling Vicki in his arms. Vicki's lifeless hand curled around Bo's and held on tightly. "It wasn't my fault, was it, Bo? I didn't do anything wrong, except that I want my baby..."

Squaring his shoulders, Bo walked back into Vicki's hospital room just as a nurse named Annie was finishing tucking Vicki back in bed with a clean sheet. "Hi. She keeps asking for you." Annie turned towards Vicki, as the redhead was staring at them, she then added, "Here he is, Vicki." Vicki slightly smiles as Bo approaches her. Annie walked towards the door, stopping to touch Bo's arm. "I'm so sorry." Bo whispered his thanks, but his tear-stained dark blue eyes were on Vicki. She looked so very pale, like the blood had seeped out of her face. It was a total shock to Bo seeing Vicki that way. Bo tried not to react to Vicki's paleness as he bend over her. "Hi, Honey." Vicki blinked, tears leaking and tracking into her ears. "I now realize that the baby's gone, Bo. I didn't do anything wrong, yet, it's gone."

About a week later... All things were not looking too good for anyone, especially Vicki. She was going in and out of consciousness, and when she is awake, all she keeps mumbling is that she wants to see her baby. Bo was there for her, never leaving her side, except when Doc Applebey was in the room with her. That was the only time that Bo has been out of the room in the past few weeks. ******** Early one morning, Bo was getting himself a cup of coffee as he notices Doc Applebey walking out of Vicki's hospital room. "Doc, how is she?" asked Bo as he approached the doctor. "Not looking too good, Bo. She's very depressed and unresponsive. She started crying a minute ago when she was asking me that she wanted to see her baby," said Doc Applebey with a grim face then added, "I wanted to tell her that the baby is gone, but I'm sure that she doesn't want to hear it from me." "Will Vicki be all right, Doc?" asked Bo worriedly. Doc Applebey made a grim face. "I don't know, Bo. She's very sad right now. More than likely, she's still in shock. I gave her shot to make her more relaxed. She's probably groggy by now." "Thanks, Doc for all your help," said Bo, shaking Doc Applebey's hand. "No problem, Bo. Vicki was asking for you a few minutes ago, and after the nurse gets done with her, you can go in and see her," said Doc Applebey. "Well, that's good. I haven't left her side in nearly a week," said Bo as he sat down in a chair that was the closest to Vicki's hospital room. "I'm sure that Vicki will be okay again maybe in the next few days perhaps," said Doc Applebey. "Yeah, right," said Bo sarcastically as an angry tear fell down his face. He pulled himself together, hoping that Vicki would be too fuzzy to see how disappointed and sad he was. He decided that if Vicki was feeling okay later, that they would talk this out. They had just lost a baby, and he wanted to talk out all his emotions with her.

Meanwhile... About 30 minutes later, Vicki & Hughie walks out the back door of the bank. "Well, that went well, princess," said Hughie as he gave Vicki a hug. "It sure did, sweetheart. Now what do we do?" asked Vicki. "Let's move our truck, then we'll get us a room at the Hazzard Hotel for the night," said Hughie as he & Vicki headed towards the front of the bank. Vicki gasped outloud. "Sweetheart, I don't think that it is going to be that easy. Take a look." "Good Grief! Look at what some idiot did to our truck!" said Hughie, looking at the gray truck closely then added, "Someone must have been following us all the way to town." "I know, Hughie. I think that I know who it was," said Vicki, showing Hughie the silver paint on the hood and driver's side door. "I think that I know too," said Hughie angrily then added, "We'll have to go call Dave in Capital City and have him tow our truck in. That way, he can see what else is wrong with it." "Then what?" asked Vicki sarcastically, "I'm not in the mood to stay in Hazzard very long. Especially with everyone mad at us right now." "Sugar, don't worry about it. We won't be here very long," said Hughie as he & Vicki walked across the street towards the Hazzard Hotel then added, "As soon as Dave gets here, we'll go back home and get another set of wheels." "Okay, I hope that everything will be all right," said Vicki as she & Hughie walked inside the hotel... CUE: WHOEVER WANTS TO ADD 8) 8)

"Sweet Angel, I'm not feeling so good," said Bo weakly as he puts his arm around the redhead's shoulder as they were following Luke & Daisy towards the farmhouse. "What's wrong, sugar?" asked Vicki, placing her hand on Bo's bruised face. "I hurt all over. It feels like that I don't have any strength left," said Bo weakly. "Sugar, you have been kidnapped and assaulted. That is the reason why you don't have any energy left," said Vicki worriedly, placing her arm around Bo's waist. "Is Bo okay?" asked Luke, looking back at the couple, who were walking slowly behind him & Daisy. "I think so, Luke. Bo is just complaining that he hurt all over," said Vicki. "Little Red, Bo's cuts might be infected. We need to go inside and let Uncle Jesse look at them," said Daisy as she turned around and watched Bo & Vicki walk slowly towards them. "Okay. We'll be right behind y'all," said Vicki, and she was tugging gently on Bo's arm them added, "Just a few more steps, sweetheart. Then we'll be inside completely safe from that lunatic."

BALLADEER: Tell me they're not about to do anything crazy y'all! "We did it, sweetheart! No one recognized us when we drove past Max's compound!" said Hughie excitedly as he drove slowly into Hazzard. "Yeah, baby. So far so good. These disguises finally worked!" said Vicki, happily as she clutched her husband's arm. "What about what Max said on the CB a little while ago?" asked Hughie as he turned the gray truck onto Maple Street. "I don't like it at all," said Vicki, as she looked out her window then added, "I'm worried for your safety. Max doesn't want to forget what happened 10 years ago." "I know, sweetheart. The way he was talking, he was wanting to keep you out of the way," said Hughie worriedly, stopping in front of the Hazzard Bank. "Sweetheart, I'm not about to let anything happen to me or to you," said Vicki as she moved closer to her husband, then added, "I'll make sure that no one will hurt us or worse." "Yeah, with these disguises on, sugar, we can do anything," said Hughie laughing meanly as he helped Vicki out of the truck then added, "Since no one is around, let's go inside the bank and take a look around." "Okay," said Vicki as she followed her husband towards the front door of the bank. "Just think, sweetheart, after we 'borrow' some money out of Uncle Boss's Bank, we'll plant the money in Max's car, and make it think that he stole the money instead of us!" said Hughie, laughing as Vicki gave him a lock pick set. "And by the time anyone figures out that it was us, we'll be across the state line," said Vicki giggling crazily as she & Hughie walked inside the dark bank... CUE: ANYONE WHO WANTS TO HAVE FUN!

"Luke, I really don't think that someone is trying to kill us, I think that it might be someone trying to get revenge on us for something," said Vicki as she & Luke were following Bo & Daisy towards the farmhouse a few minutes later. "That could be it, Little Red," said Luke. "Maybe, Luke. Do you think that whoever it is also gave Daisy the phone threats," said Vicki. "Yeah, not to mention the stray arrow that caught me in the shoulder, and the car that forced us off the road yesterday," said Luke worriedly. "Bo didn't tell me about that one," gasped Vicki in shock. "I don't think that he had a chance to tell you. He was going to tell you after he cleaned the stalls for me right before he was grabbed earlier," said Luke. Vicki glanced at Bo in front of her. "You know, Luke, I'm glad that I came over today." "Me too. I have a bad gut feeling that this person would have finished Bo off if you & Pam hadn't showed up today," said Luke. Vicki giggled slightly. "Yeah, thanks to Bo for talking me into coming over today, even though I have a cold." Stopping Vicki by placing a hand on her arm, Luke smiled at the redhead. "Yeah, thanks to my lovesick cousin. You know, I've just thought of something." "What Luke?" asked Vicki. "You've saved my cousin's life," said Luke gratefully, giving the redhead a hug.

"Oh..." moaned Vicki as she stirs slightly. "Honey, are you with us?" asked Bo, grabbing the redhead's lifeless cold hand. "Bo...the last time I saw you, I was arresting you," moaned Vicki, as she was trying to sit up in bed. "Hughie," said Bo as he was trying to struggle in Roger's & Torey's hold then added, "Tell your goons to let me go so I can help Vicki sit up in bed." "No, way! You & your cousins caused Vicki to be in the hospital. I'm not about to let you go, plowboy!" said Hughie angrily to Bo then added to Vicki, "Are you all right, Princess?" "No, Hughie. My lower stomach feels empty...tell Roger & Torey to let him go so I can talk to him for a minute," said Vicki, as she gave Hughie a slightly dirty look. "Oh, all right. We'll be right outside if you need us, Princess," said Hughie, snickering meanly as he watched Roger & Torey pushed Bo roughly towards the redhead. "Thanks, Hughie. I'll talk to you in a minute," said Vicki, slightly waving at her friend as she watched Hughie walk outside the door. "Thanks, Sweet Angel. Hughie & his goons were going to arrest Luke & me because they think that we put you in the hospital by accident," said Bo. Vicki didn't say anything to Bo as she looked the other way out the window...

While Coy & Vance were talking quietly, Daisy & Enos walked into the room. "Possum on a Gumbush! What happened to Vicki?" asked Enos in shock as he walked over to the sleeping redhead. "Daisy, has Uncle Jesse told you what happened to Vicki?" asked Vance. "Yeah, honey. I can't believe that it happened to her & Bo. Uncle Jesse said that Bo was completely devastated about it," said Daisy as she sat down in a chair next to Vicki's hospital bed. "That's what Mary told us too," said Coy, grabbing Vicki's cold hand then added, "Why won't she wake up?" "She will, Coy. You just have to give her time. She's in a drug-induced coma right now," said Vance, placing his hand on Coy's arm then added, "Let's go outside and get some fresh air and find Bo & Luke." "Okay," said Coy, sighing loudly then added to Daisy & Enos, "We'll be back later." "Okay, honey. We're going to stay here and see if Vicki will wake up enough to talk to us," said Daisy. "Man...I can't believe that about Vicki having a miscarriage. Everytime I was around her, she was always happy," said Enos in shock several minutes later as he was gently squeezing Vicki's cold hand. "Yeah, she was always happy out at the farm too. Her & Bo made a perfect pair," said Daisy as she was looking at the sleeping redhead. "She has to wake up. She has family & friends here worried about her," said Enos, worriedly. "Not to mention her husband as well," said Bo with a grim face as he was being forced into the room by Hughie & his goons...

Jasper laughed as he aimed the large rock directly at the redhead. "Vicki! Look out!" yelled Luke as he pushes Vicki out of the way, just narrowing getting hit by the large rock. Vicki rolled over quickly, and right into Bo's arms. "Are you all right, sweetheart?" asked Bo as he helped the redhead sit up. Vicki gasped as she saw the blood dripping off his arms & wrists. "I'm fine, but your arms are covered in blood, Bo." "Oh...Lord. Vicki, it is just rope burns. It doesn't hurt too bad," said Bo, showing Vicki the deep red welts on his wrists. "If you say so, sweetheart. I'm going to clean your wounds when we get inside the farmhouse," said Vicki, putting an arm around Bo's waist as he winced in pain. "Bo, you have been hurt by whoever grabbed you," said Daisy worriedly as she & Luke caught up with Bo & Vicki. "Daisy, I'm fine," said Bo. "Yeah, you're fine all right," said Vicki, looking at Bo closely then added, "You have a cut on your lip, right side of your face is swollen, and you have 2 deep cuts on your wrists. It looks like to me that you have been assaulted, Bo." "Vicki, Bo wasn't assaulted. Someone tried to murder him!" said Luke excitedly. Vicki gasped outloud in shock. "Oh...my...gosh!"

About the same time in Chickasaw County... "Sugar, where are you heading?" asked Vicki as she followed her new husband Hughie Hogg down the steps of their cabin. "Princess, why don't take a ride with me. We're going to head towards Hazzard," said Hughie, opening the door for Vicki to their dark gray truck. "Why?" asked Vicki, getting into the truck as she slide over to the passenger side. "I didn't like what Max was saying just now over the CB. It makes me think that he wants to have it out with me, and he told Uncle Boss & Rosco to bug off," said Hughie angrily as he pulled out of the driveway. "So why are you going there? Don't you know that your Uncle Boss & Rosco might throw you in jail for coming back to Hazzard?" asked Vicki sarcastically as she looked out the window at the wildflowers then added, "They might even try to throw me in jail too for trying to side swipe them yesterday." "Vicki, I want to confront Max myself. I want to get some sort of revenge on him for what he did to me 10 years ago by sending me to jail for something I didn't do." "Like that fire he started," said Vicki as she squeezed her husband's hand. "That's right, princess. When I get down in his throat, before I squeeze it, I'm going to ask him why he sent me to jail," said Hughie angrily as he turned the truck onto Hogg road. "Well, that's one way of getting even with him," giggled Vicki wildly. "Honey, aren't we on the road that crosses over that land that Max thinks that he owns?" asked Hughie a few minutes later. "Yeah, we should be coming up to the turnoff that goes to my dad's moonshine still site & cabin. Hopefully, Max hasn't run across it yet," said Vicki as she brushed her auburn red hair back away from her eyes. "Uh...oh. We have some company in front of us. Take a look," said Hughie as he slams on the brakes. "Well, I knew that our timing couldn't have been much better," said Vicki sarcastically, glancing at the cars stopped in front of her near the county line. "I'd thought that Roger & Torey were supposed to keep an eye on them," said Hughie angrily as he pulled the gray truck over behind a large tree. "They were. I don't know why they let them leave the Boar's Nest. They were supposed to call us," said Vicki angrily as she gets a small suitcase out from under her seat then added, "I guess we're going to have to use these so no one will be able to recognize us." As Vicki opened the suitcase, Hughie laughed. "Yep. This should do the trick. Maybe we can outfox them with these disguises." "It should work, sweetheart. Considering that we will be using these disguises later when we start our rash of trouble across the county," said Vicki as she was pulling her long red hair back into a ponytail then clipping it up so she can put on the brown wig. Hughie laughed as he pulled his new bride into his arms. "Then we can frame Max Davenport into giving us the land." "Yeah, but only if no one knows who we are, sweetheart. I definitely don't want anyone to start snooping around us or our hideout. It will spoil everything!" said Vicki excitedly. "Princess, calm down. You're thinking of your past again. I'll make sure that everything will work out fine. Don't worry," said Hughie as he gave Vicki a hug. "Are you sure?" asked Vicki as she pulled away from her husband. "I'm positive, Princess. Everything will work out for us. Maybe by luck, maybe those idiots from Hazzard will think that we're a honeymooning couple just passing through," said Hughie as he slowed the gray truck down as he drove towards the cars in front of them... Howdy Y'all! Thanks for being there for me, and thanks for being patient with me as I start to finish up this storyline! I just thought to let y'all know that until Monday, October 14 at the latest, that the only time I will be online to write will be from my boss's computer at work on my break, due to my computer at home still being down. I'm so sorry that I haven't been on at night like I used to. I miss chatting with y'all! Hopefully soon I will be back online at night again. I recently made some changes to the beginning of this story and throughout to make this story a little more readable and worth reading. This storyline will move into a new story as my character Vicki will move out of Georgia, and move back home to Oklahoma to help her sister run her horse ranch for a little while.
