AUTHOR NOTE: Thanks for all the good comments. I originally wrote this story in November-December 1999. I am now updating parts of it here. It was originally about 24 computer pages long. **For any additonal comments on this story or my other one, go into Redhead's Emotional State Feedback page here in story ideas.** ***************** BANG! BANG! Vicki's blue-gray eyes grew wide with worry, dread, and anger as she heard the shots from inside the Boar's Nest. *Why isn't Rosco here?* thought the redhead as she was waiting impatiently for the Sheriff to arrive... Still cruched inside the tree, Vicki knew that Jasper might have not been taking direct shots at Bo & Luke, but possibly at her. It scared her to know that her life was in danger too. She could feel him on some instinctive, almost primitive level. She couldn't have articulated a single proof that made her believe that the crook was waiting for her to come inside the door, but still she knew it... -

Holding her breath as she listened, Vicki realized that there was no sound at all inside the bar. Worriedly, she started to head towards the door, hoping to see inside without Jasper noticing her. She stopped walking when she came to a tree in front of her. There were a few trees in the dirt parking lot, and this tree was near the front door. She braced herself against the tree as she was waiting for the door to open or for something to happen. Her shoulders ached somewhat as they were pressed hard against the tree, and she had eased far enough forward to be able to see inside the front door. Her eyes again surveyed the area around the Boar's Nest. Nothing moved. Nothing seemed out of place from what she could tell. Except the she knew that Bo & Luke were in great danger inside the bar with that killer. Just as she decided that, she heard a single gunshot, and then 2 more in rapid succession from inside the Boar's Nest. Vicki could have sworn that they had all come from inside the bar. *Was Jasper shooting at Bo & Luke or at her?* she wondered. Not taking any chances from any of the stray bullets, Vicki put both hands around the grip of her revolver. When she had taken out of her purse earlier, she had felt a momentary frission of anxiety. She was afraid that she would have to shoot Jasper in order to save herself & Bo & Luke. She had never shot a person before, even if it was in self-defense. Her gaze lifted from the Boar's Nest and back out towards the woods where her patrol car was, hoping that Rosco would get here soon... -

*This stillness is eerie...* Vicki thought about 10 minutes later, leaning back against her patrol car while she & Daisy were waiting for Rosco, Enos, and Jesse to arrive. It was so complete & eerie that it seemed unnatural. Not a bird sang in the trees nearby, and there was no hum of insects. *Something isn't quite right here...* thought the redhead as she was getting off the hood of her patrol car. "Daisy, I'm going to head towards the front door. I want to take a look inside at what Jasper is doing in there to Bo & Luke," said Vicki worriedly as she walked slowly towards the front door of the Boar's Nest, with her gun in her hand. "Vicki! NO!" exclaimed Daisy, placing a hand on the redhead's trembling arm then added, "You're liable to get shot!" "Daisy, I'll make sure that the crook won't see me," said Vicki, reassuring Daisy that she will be all right. "Okay. Just be careful," said Daisy worriedly as she watched her friend walk away from her towards the front door of the Boar's Nest... -
AUTHOR NOTE: Parts of this post could be rated PG, depending on how you read it! ******** Meanwhile...at the same time at a motel in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee... Vicki yawned as she woke up. She looked around, and noticed that it was still dark outside. She was content for the 1st time in weeks. Her face was warm against Bo's shoulder as she watched her husband sleep peacefully as she was still in his arms as they held each other earlier in the night. Her body decided to try and make up for all those sleepless nights in the past. Tiredness stole over her as she yawned, weighted her heavy lids, and for a while, she slept. The sun shining onto her face woke Vicki several hours later. She turned her face to where her husband was sleeping, and found that Bo was leaning up on one elbow, watching her. When he saw that Vicki was awake, Bo smiled as he reached out to trail his fingers over her face, then picked up a thick strand of her red hair and began winding it into a spiral. "I like to watch you sleep," he said softly. "Need to make sure that you're still here." Vicki smiled at Bo as she leans her face towards him and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "I was just thinking about asking you the same thing." Bo laughed, then gave Vicki a long lingering kiss on the mouth. "After what you did to me yesterday, I will always be willing to be here with you forever." Searching his eyes, Vicki reached up to touch him all over, letting her hand linger upward towards his jaw, his neck, his shoulder with a scar from a bullet wound several months earlier, and she gave in to a soft sigh she she touched his face with love. "After all we've been through, Bo, I feel the same way." Meeting her eyes, he groaned as he pulled her into his arms. Vicki sighed as she laid her head down on Bo's bare chest. "Just love me forever, my love," he drawled as he began to kiss Vicki again with hunger for her heart. As Bo continued to hold & kiss her with passion & emotion from his heart, Vicki knew that true love had finally found its way back into their hearts. She knew that her love for her husband will always be there with them, forever.

The next morning... *BALLADEER*: Vicki & Bo were finally back together and slowly getting back to the way they were long before the loss of their baby and the strain that was in their relationship. Back in Hazzard and thanks to Hughie Hogg for giving them information on where Vicki might have taken Bo, Luke & Daisy were packing their suitcases. They were leaving to go to Tennessee, and to go after the estranged couple. "Luke, do you think that this is a good idea?" asked Daisy as she walked into the kitchen where her cousin was sitting down at the table drinking a cup of coffee before they left for their long drive into Tennessee. "What other choice do we have, Daisy?" asked Luke, nodding his head then added, "We need to bring both of our cousins home. They shouldn't be treating each other like this. I know deep down that Bo is still truly in love with Vicki. He told me that a few days ago." "Vicki told me that also, a couple of days ago. She told me that no matter how mad she is at Bo for treating her so badly in the past, that she is still deeply in love with him, and she wants to stay married to him," said Daisy as she was drinking a cup of coffee also. "That is exactly what Bo told me a few days ago. He told me that he wants to stay married to that redhead the rest of his life. He told me that he is going to do his best to keep her happy, no matter what the consequences are between them," said Luke. *"What about if Vicki does decide to go to Oklahoma to visit her sister? Suppose she might like it out there and wants to stay?" asked Daisy. "I'm sure that they will work something out, Daisy. I wouldn't worry about it too much. Maybe Bo will go out there to Oklahoma with Vicki," said Luke with a smile. "Wouldn't it be something to see Bo on a horse again?" asked Daisy with a giggle then added, "That is what Pam is doing out in Oklahoma right now, raising horses." "Yeah, and Bo doesn't like horses all that well either," laughed Luke. "For Vicki, I'm sure that Bo will do just about anything for her," said Daisy. "I'm sure of it, Daisy. Bo told me that they were meant to be together," said Luke as his crystal blue eyes lit up some then added, "If you're ready, let's head towards Tennessee." "I'm with you, honey," said Daisy as she followed her cousin out the back door towards the General Lee...

AUTHOR NOTE: As y'all know by now, this is based on a partial true story. Pigeon Forge is really a tourist town in eastern Tennessee in the heart of the Smokey Mountains, near Knoxville. I went there on vacation about 15 years ago. *I'm going to do my best to finish up this storyline within the next few posts so I can finish getting ready for my baby's birth! Take Care! ********* Near Pigeon Forge, Tennessee... Approximately 4 p.m. "Sugar, are you sure about this?" asked Bo uneasily as he was getting out of the mustang then added, "I still can't believe that you took me all the way to Tennessee." They were stopped at a motel just outside of Pigeon Forge. "Bo, if you're worried about me, I'm perfectly fine now. This is exactly what we needed right now," said Vicki as Bo opened the car door for her. "Maybe it is what we needed right now, sugar. Maybe this will help us build our relationship and our love for each other," said Bo, taking Vicki's hand gently. Vicki sighed loudly as she was holding Bo's hand as they were walking inside the motel office. "I hope that this does help our relationship, Bo." "It will once when we start talking about how we feel for each other," said Bo as he gave Vicki a kiss lightly on the mouth then added as he pulled away from her, "I love you more than life itself. I hope that you can believe me oneday." "Yeah, as much as we talked in the last few hours, I am starting to believe that," sighed Vicki loudly as she followed Bo over to the counter where the motel manager was standing, reading his sales book. "Hello, kids. What brings y'all here on this beautiful early summer afternoon?" asked Stan, the motel office manager. "Nothing much, sir," said Bo cheerfully, then putting his arm around Vicki's shoulders he added, "We would like a room for the night." Vicki giggled as she put her arms around her husband. "And if you have an honeymoon suite, that would be even better." Stan laughed. "So you kids are on your honeymoon. That's nice." "Well actually she kid..." Bo started to say, but was elbowed in the ribs by Vicki. "Hush it sugar. We need to do this now..." she whispered into Bo's ear as she kissed his earlobe. She felt the intensive heat start to build inside her husband. "I know that we do, sugar, even though you did take me against my will," said Bo as he raised his brow, his desire to possess his wife, heart and soul, growing all the stronger.

Meanwhile... Bo & Luke were talking to the crook. Keeping their voices steady & calm. "Why are you getting revenge on us?" asked Bo as he was flexing his numbed fingers behind his back. "Yeah, what have we done to you? You shouldn't be holding us here in the 1st place," said Luke sarcastically. "Hmmm...let's see," said Jasper harshly as he was lightly moving the muzzle of his shotgun across Bo's face, then added, "Well, a couple of months ago, you cost me a million dollars. Isn't that a good reason for getting revenge on ya?" "Yeah, I guess so," said Bo nervously as he heard a car outside behind them then added through his thoughts, *Please let that be Vicki...* Jasper looked towards the door to Boss's office after hearing a car. "Sounds like we have company outside. I better go take a look." After Jasper left, Bo let out a breath that he didn't know he was holding. "You okay, cousin?" asked Luke as he was reaching with his bound hands towards Bo's pocketknife. "Yeah, I'm worried, Luke. Do you think that he's going to kill us?" asked Bo. "Maybe, but we'll escape before that happens," said Luke grinning slightly then added, "Do you think that you can reach my pocketknife?" "I'll try, Luke," said Bo as he started reaching behind him to get at Luke's pocketknife. "Don't worry, Bo. We'll get out of this one way or another," said Luke as he was looking towards the back door. "I hope so, Luke," said Bo as he looked towards the front door, catching a glimpse of Vicki out the window... -

In less than 5 minutes, with her furious fiery temper, Vicki had pulled her patrol car up near the back door to Boss's office. Taking her service revolver out of the glove compartment, she quietly heads towards the back door. Normally, she doesn't carry a gun, but this was an emergency. She knew that she had to take out Jasper Johnson without hurting Bo or Luke in the crossfire. Just as she opens the back door, Daisy stops her. "Vicki! Wait! Don't go in there!" exclaimed Daisy as she caught up with the redhead. "Daisy! I have to go in there!" said Vicki uneasily then added, "Bo & Luke are in there with that killer. I have to go save them!" "But we need to wait for Rosco & Enos to show up. We're going to need back-up if we're going to capture that killer," said Daisy, placing a hand on Vicki's trembling arm. Daisy saw the fear & stress in the redhead's eyes. She also saw a slight twinkle in her eyes too. Daisy could see in Vicki's eyes how much the redhead really loved her cousin Bo, and how she wanted to be with him right now. Daisy knew that Vicki would do anything to keep her cousins or her uncle out of harm's way. "Okay," sighed Vicki loudly as she gazed towards the open back door. She was hoping that Bo & Luke were okay in there with that killer, and that Rosco would show up soon... -
NOTE: I won't be on this storyline again for a while due to me being back in college, and completely burned out from writing. Sorry for any inconvenience! CUE ANY DUKE, COLETRANE, WHOEVER AFTER THIS POST! ***** At an apartment in Chickasaw... Vicki's blue-grey eyes grew angrier as she listened to the CB. Someone was wanting to kill her new husband for no aparent reason. This just didn't make any sence to her at all. "I don't believe this, sugar. What are we going to do now?" she asked as she approached Hughie. "I guess that I will go to that dome, but I'm NOT going to fight. I DON'T CARE ANYMORE ANYWAY. Max can have that land. It sounds like he wants to take over Hazzard County anyway," grumbled Hughie angrily then added, "If I do see him, I'm going to tell him that. He can buy my half of the land for a nice hefty sum." "Even if he did call you a coward," joked Vicki, giggling as she put her arms around Hughie. "Even then. Although it made me mad, I'm still not going to fight. I'm NOT a coward, I'm a common criminal/conman," said Hughie. "Only in Hazzard County though. Boss & Rosco or the Dukes aren't real thrilled about you being around here anyway or me either, especially since I married you," said Vicki laughing. "I'm more powerful in Chickasaw County anyway, especially since I own nearly all of it now," said Hughie as he picked up the telephone then added, "Who needs Hazzard County anyways?? Uncle Boss & Rosco shouldn't have let anyone build an illegal dome in the county. I bet that they don't have official papers for it either." CUE: ANY DUKE, COLETRANE, OR WHOEVER ELSE!

Luke continued to stare at Jasper, and was tempted to take him now. He also thought that it was pointless though, especially with a gun aimed directly at his cousin's chest. Bo looked around the bar. He noticed that Daisy wasn't nowhere in sight, meaning that she was outside on the CB, trying to get ahold of Vicki, Rosco, and Enos to have them come out here. That made him feel better about the situation that they're in. He also knew that he had to bid his time enough for him & Luke to live without Jasper murdering them. "You're not going to kill us here, are you?" Bo asked fearfully to Jasper as he was rubbing his aching jaw. "No, of course not! I'm not going to let the Sheriff find your body here. We're just going to have a talk here right now, about how y'all are going to make me rich. Then I'll take y'all somewhere else & dispose you." Luke added sarcastically, "Yeah, well conversations at gunpoint aren't my style." "Awww...that's too bad, boys. We're going to talk about me getting revenge on y'all, and how I'm going to throw your battered bodies in a ditch somewhere! Have a seat in that chair, so we can start talking," said Jasper as he pushes Luke into a chair, then backhands Bo again in the face. *SMACK!* "Ouch!" Bo said, rubbing his bruised jaw. "Leave him alone!" yelled Luke as he advanced Jasper. "Come & make me, plowboy!" said Jasper as he leveled his shotgun at Bo's neck then added, "One more move, and your cousin's head will be shot off!" Luke had no choice but to back away as Jasper pushed him into a chair. "Just to make sure that y'all won't try to escape from me..." said Jasper harshly. With a gun trained on them, Jasper roughly forced Bo's & Luke's arms behind their backs, tying their wrists tightly to the back of the chair with some duct tape that he found. The hairs on the back of Bo's neck prickled as he realized that he had just put himself, Luke's, and probably Vicki's lives now in jeopardy... -

*AUTHOR NOTE: Parts of this post & the next one could be rated PG+ for minor violence. Take Care!* ******* Meanwhile... "What do you want with us?" asked Luke as he & Bo were being roughly pushed outside into the bar by Jasper. "We're going to talk for a while," said Jasper. To reinforce his point, he leveled the muzzle of the shotgun directly at Bo & Luke. "About what? Was it because of me & my girlfriend arresting you a couple of months back?" asked Bo sarcastically as he continued to hold his hands up. Without warning, Jasper backhands Bo across the face hard, causing Bo's face to start swelling. "Leave him alone!" yelled Luke. "Come & make me, plowboy!" said Jasper threatenly. Turning back to Bo, Jasper added, "Just shut up about it. I'm going to get even with y'all for sending me to jail a couple of months ago! And this time I'm not going to leave any witnesses!" said Jasper meanly as he cocked the shotgun, aiming it directly at Bo's chest then added as he pushed Bo into a nearby chair, "Have a seat. We're going to be a while." -

"Possum on a Gumbush! Are you sure, Vicki?" asked Enos as he picked up the CB mike in his patrol car. "I'm positive. Daisy called me about 5 minutes ago outside the Boar's Nest from the General Lee, and told me that Jasper Johnson was holding Bo & Luke hostage!" said Vicki fearfully. "She also said that Jasper Johnson burst in the back door to Boss's Office, and started taking shots at Bo & Luke. I was hearing shots when I was talking to her!" "Vicki, calm down. We're on our way out there right now to help you with that killer!" said Rosco back into the CB mike. "I hope so, Sheriff. I don't think that I can handle that crook right now by myself!" said Vicki uneasily back into the CB mike. "Vicki, I need you to put an APB out on that crook!" said Boss Hogg as he took the CB mike away from Rosco then added, "I think that he probably cleaned out my safe too. There was nearly $ 10,000 dollars in my safe!" "And for attempted murder & kidnapping too!" said Vicki back into the CB mike. "Judist Priest on a Pony..." muttered Rosco then added as he took the CB mike away from Boss Hogg, "Vicki, where are you at right now? Are you close to the Boar's Nest?" "Yeah, I just pulled up outside the Boar's Nest," said Vicki worriedly. "Honey, no matter how mad you are right now, don't go in there until we get there. That crook is too dangerous right now. He's liable to shoot you too," said Rosco back into the CB mike. "Don't worry, Sheriff. I won't go in there. Just get here as soon as you can," said Vicki sighing loudly as she hangs up her CB mike. Vicki knew that help was on the way... -
Vicki sighed loudly as Bo was driving into Pigeon Forge. Euphoric relief surged through her. Against all the odds, she knew that she and Bo had a future together. She couldn't believe it, but was happy that Bo wanted a second chance at their marriage. "Big talk there, handsome," she teased, laying a hand over Bo's heart. "Keep talking." Beneath her fingers, she felt his strong steady heartbeat, and she knew that her world had righted once again. "Yeah, and everything I told you was from the bottom of my heart," Bo said in a rusty trembling voice. "All these how-to-be-a-proper-husband hints that I have been reading lately must have finally sunk in when we were half-way to Tennessee." "Even though you're against me working in Chickasaw County," said Vicki. Bo laughed as he held his bride in his arms. "I can't go wrong there, sweetheart, but I know that you have a good job there. Even though I dislike Sheriff Little, I will stand behind you every inch of the way." Vicki stared at him, not sure whether to laugh or to burst into tears. She only saw the intent look in his eyes. It kindled her own fires. "Sweetheart, even if I decide to go visit my sister out in Oklahoma?" "Even then, sugar. If you want to go out and visit Pam for a few weeks, go ahead, I don't mind," said Bo as he held Vicki in his arms. "All I want right now is for us to be happy." In a burst of love and relief, Vicki hugged him. "Sweetheart, I'm so glad. And so relieved. But I want you to be sure this is what you want." "It is, sweet angel. Although I regret to admit that it's taken almost losing you in the hospital a week ago to make me realize it. I know that I have been unfair to you," said Bo as he cradle Vicki in his arms then added, "I wasn't sure that I had any more love to give to you until I almost walked away from you permentantly." Vicki wrapped her arms around Bo's waist. "That is when I grabbed you. I grabbed you because I knew that you still loved me deeply inside your heart," she teased and leaned in close, savoring his warmth and his strength and the essence that was him. "Of course I do, sweet angel," said Bo as he kissed her hard and long on the mouth then added as they parted, "Does this mean that you forgive me?" "Guess so, sweetheart," Vicki quipped as her heart soared. Her eyes misted as they met his. She hugged him tenderly. "You are hard to stay mad at, farmboy." Bo laughed as he held Vicki in his arms. "Same here, sugar. Since we're here in Piegon Forge, why don't we get a motel room for the night." Vicki giggled as she held her husband. "Sounds like a good idea to me, darling. Lead the way." Bo laughed as he pulled into a motel in Pigeon Forge. "You're on, sugar. I'm going to lead the way back into your heart & soul forever."

AUTHOR NOTE: As y'all can tell, I made some changes on my writing style. These last few posts and the next ones to come are basically from the character's point of view on how they feel. I hope that y'all like the changes. Take Care! ****** Vicki's heart leapt at what Bo had just admitted to her. She stared in shock directly into his eyes. "Do you really mean what you said? You're afraid of losing me?" she asked, surprised by his remark. Taking off his seatbelt, Bo stared Vicki back directly in the eyes. Luckily, they were stopped at a gas station near Pigeon Forge, or Bo would have went off the road. "Yeah, sugar, I am afraid of losing you. I don't want that to happen. When we took our vows a year ago, we promised each other that we would love each other, no matter what the consequences are. And as the vows said, for as long as we both shall live, I will always love you," said Bo as he kissed Vicki lightly on the cheek. Vicki swallowed. Her pulse was racing. She saw the warmth and tenderness in his eyes. Vicki nearly melted just seeing the love in his eyes. This was the 1st time that she felt loved in a long time, especially coming from her husband. "Is it because of the passion & love between us caused you to be with me right now?" she asked slowly, knowing that if they were going to try to patch things up between them, their relationship had to be real, and it had to be right. She was hoping that their relationship could get stronger. "Sugar, that, and how you kidnapped me earlier when I was being a real jerk to you. I wasn't listening to you, and I was just to pigheaded to see how you felt. I was just upset about you losing the baby. I am sorry for treating you so badly, especially after the loss of our baby," said Bo as he held Vicki in his arms then added, "If there was anything in the world to make it up to you, I want to make you very happy until we die old together. Perhaps, when the doc gives you the ok, we'll try to have a baby again soon."

AUTHOR NOTE: After reading & getting a few ideas from a few mystery novels in the last few days, (I'm an avid reader of romance & suspence), I'm now writing through the character's point of view of how they see things. Take Care! ******** *I'd better try to get a hold of Rosco & Enos, and tell them what is going on,* thought Vicki as she picked up her CB mike in the patrol car as she switched to the emergency police channel. "Rosco or Enos, this is Little Red. Do y'all have your ears on? Come back," said Vicki worriedly into the CB mike. Inside Boss Hogg's house, Rosco picks up the CB mike. "Little Red, this is Rosco. What's up? You normally don't call me on this channel unless it is an dire emergency," said Rosco back into the CB. He was wondering why his god-daughter would be calling him on this channel. *Something has to be wrong for Vicki to call me on this channel...* thought Rosco worriedly. "I know that I normally don't call you on this channel, Rosco. But for once, this WAS an emergency," said Vicki as her voice was trembling. "Yeah, most of the time you usually call in after arresting Bo & Luke illegally," laughed Rosco. When Vicki didn't laugh with him, Rosco knew that there was something wrong. He then asked Vicki in a worried tone, "What's wrong, honey? What is the emergency for you to be using the emergency channel?" Fearfully, Vicki blurted out, "That convict Jasper Johnson is at the Boar's Nest right now holding Bo & Luke hostage!" -

Max and whoever else that is writing in this story, Right now, I'm a little busy with my family & college, so I WON'T be able to write too much more in the storyline, maybe one more short post, then I'm done. I may write Hughie into the storyline after y'all start writing the fights, but it may not be him fighting though, since he'll probably sell you his part of that land that he partially owns. After all, Hughie does own nearly 100 acres on Mountain Creek Lake in northern Chickasaw County anyway, well through his new wife anyway. And Hughie does have a few hideouts near the Tennessee border in Sweetwater County too. Hughie does fight for his honor, but it's mainly for his wife, money and nothing else. He's a better conman than a fighter, any devoted Dukes fan would know that. He would always have his friends take care of any fighting. Hughie would mostly be a coward most of the time. Take Care & Keep smiling! Vicki -

After getting off the CB with Daisy, Vicki switched to the emergency police channel. Before calling Rosco on the CB, Vicki took a deep breath that she didn't know she had, she was thinking about everything that has happened. It was her nightmare coming alive again. Never in her life had Vicki felt so torn in two. Bo & Luke were in dire danger, and she really can't do anything about it right now either. She didn't want to risk her life too if she were to try to attack Jasper without Rosco or Enos backing her up. But seeing Bo in the clutches of that crook, hurt Vicki's emotions terribly. Oh, God, it hurt so badly to think of never seeing him alive in her arms again! She didn't know how much Bo cared for her right now-even the weight of the gold locket that he gave her for her 18th birthday that she wore everyday didn't assure her that he saw her as someone that was special to him. Looking at the gold locket around her neck, Vicki sighed loudly as she turn her patrol car onto Highway 36 towards the Boar's Nest. Something inside her squeezed tight with dread, so tight she didn't know if she could bear it when she got to the Boar's Nest and found Bo lying dead in the parking lot. *There is no way that I'm going to let you get the best of me, Jasper Johnson!* thought Vicki angrily, pushing her foot to the floor then added, *We're going to settle this once and foreall, especially for taking my 2 best friends hostage!* -
LOL! Of course I care for everyone! Y'all are special to me! Hugs to all! ((((hugs to all)))) Take Care, Vicki

Vicki started to say something, but Bo continued pouring his heart out to the redhead as he was driving into the Smokey Mountains. "Sugar, I don't have any excuses for what I did to you, I felt bad after saying that to you in the hospital. I was so upset that I almost left again to go back out on the NASCAR circuit." "Yeah, you were going back out on the NASCAR circuit only because you really don't care for me," said Vicki, looking out the window of her mustang, hiding another tear that was building in her eyes. Pulling off on the shoulder of the interstate, Bo made Vicki look at him. "Honey, I didn't want to go. You opened my eyes when you took me away from Hazzard several hours ago! You made me see our marriage in a new light. I am so sorry for ever hurting you." Vicki pressed her lips together hard, determined not to cry again. That had been happening too many times lately. Maybe she could forgive Bo for everything. She didn't know what to say to him though. She was still in shock. Even if she had known the words, she couldn't have said them anyway, especially right now. Bo had never spoken to her like this before, opening his emotions out on her. As Bo continued to drive towards Pigeon Forge, Finally, Vicki asked, "So what stopped you from going back out on the NASCAR circuit a week ago?" She knew the answer she wanted to hear. "I think that you know the answer to that. It's you. You're the only reason why I didn't leave Hazzard for good," said Bo, with his eyes darkening seriously as he dove his hands into Vicki's long red hair. After a moment in which he stared long & hard into her tear streaked eyes, he forced himself to go on. "The thought of a life without you would be unbearable, Vicki."
-
Slowly Vicki said, "What kind of fresh start did you have in mind?" She couldn't believe that Bo was wanting to have a second chance with her. Bo smiled and touched his hand to the curve of her cheek. "Sugar, I want to make things right with you. I'll go to whereever you go. I know about you wanting to go to Oklahoma to help Pam run her horse ranch." Vicki couldn't believe it. Was Bo really saying this directly from his heart? She also wondered who told Bo that she was thinking about leaving temporarily... Bo continued on. "Sugar, I'm now glad that we're 200 miles away from Hazzard. What I want to say to you can't be said in front of anyone else." Vicki stammered. "W-What is it, Bo? Is there something wrong?" Bo laughed as he held Vicki in his arms. "Heck no, sugar. Do you remember how cold you were earlier with your emotions?" "Yeah, sweetheart. I felt so sad after losing the baby," said Vicki, looking down, hiding a tear building in her eyes. "I felt the same way, sugar. I treated you so badly after that, even though it wasn't possible then for us to have a baby," said Bo as he cradle Vicki in his arms as she wept quietly then added, "If there is anyway I can make it up to you & help you through this, I want to be there every step of the way."

Okay, okay, sorry for delays. I have been busy going back to college and taking care of my family. I'm not online more than twice a week now. I added something to storyline. I'll add Hughie into fighting later on. (He's more of a con man than a fighter. If ya have seen all the Hughie Hogg episodes. He never did fight in any of them. His goons did all the fighting) Have fun fighting each other! Take Care & have a good day tomorrow! Vicki -
AUTHOR NOTE: This is just a short post, Max. It won't be much, but it should work into the story okay. I probably won't add again for a little while due to me back in college. ****** BALLADEER: Friends, there had been delays from Hughie Hogg. I wonder what is going on with the little marshmallow this time?? At an Apartment in Chickasaw... "I don't believe this!" said Hughie as he slams down the phone. "What wrong, sugar?" asked Vicki as she rushed into the bedroom after hearing her husband's angry outburst on the phone. "I just found out that fighting is going to be legal around here, and they want me to fight in some dome arena too!" said Hughie in a frightened, but angry voice. Vicki tried to soothe him as she held him in her arms. "Sugar, can you tell me why you're being asked to fight?" "Princess, I think that it was that land that we were fighting over a few months ago. I really don't want to fight either," said Hughie angrily, as he held his bride. "You don't have to fight for that land, Hughie. You could leave them alone about that land. We really don't need it right now anyway," said Vicki, brushing her red hair away from her face then added, "Where & when is that dome supposed to be ready?" "It's where our land & Max Davenport's land intersects each other. Near one of our hideouts on the Hazzard/Chickasaw county border. Some guy named Billy called me to tell me about it. All he said was that dome would be ready soon," said Hughie. "I knew that you were more of a con man than a fighter right now." (**I have never seen Hughie fight in a Dukes episode ever. I'm thinking that he was more of a con man anyway.**) "Maybe we'll fight with them later on in that dome/arena. Why don't right now, we just worry about us. Okay?" asked Vicki as she held her husband then added through her thoughts, *I'm NOT interested in seeing violence right now.* "You're on, Princess." Hughie laughed as he playfully grabbed Vicki as he kissed her lightly. He then added with a snicker, "We'll let Max and his friends fight each other or ANYONE ELSE for a while. Maybe later, we'll join in the fun too." CUE: WhoEver wants to add...

As Vicki walked back towards her car several minutes later, she gasps in shock as she sees Bo in the driver's seat. "Bo, did I tell you that you could drive my car?" asked Vicki as she sat down in the passenger seat. "No, sweet angel, you didn't tell me anything. I thought that you needed to rest for a while. You're face is white as a sheet of paper," said Bo as he was putting on his seat belt. "Well, that makes me feel better, sugar. So what caused you to do this for me?" asked Vicki sweetly, placing her hand on Bo's arm. "Sugar, I'm worried sick about you. I don't want you to leave me. We've got so much to look forward to in the future," said Bo, taking off his seat belt again as his blue eyes were directly locked on hers as he pulls her into his arms. Cupping her face with his hand, he then added, "I want us to have a fresh start with our life again."
