  1. HA! Fooled ya!! *abruptly shoves cousin into the open holding cell, and slams the cell door shut* *CLANG!* You have the right to ree-main silent! Not that you would. KHEE! This livens up a dull night, don't it!
  2. Mm. Yeah. Zzzzzzzzzz.....
  3. You realize, of course, if we just stand here quiet, I'm gonna lose mah mind.
  4. No. But you can chase yerself.
  5. I think we were leanin' towards Alex, but then we had that outbreak of minor drama which kinda threw a bucket of icewater on the whole thing. Whoever goes into jail next might feel safer for bein' there.
  6. You know who's got a right to be really upset? Alex. He's tried so hard to have MaryAnne arrest him. He's had fantasies along these lines for years. Finally, he was this {-} close to being cuffed, if not stuffed, and then somebody enters a mood-killer. Alas, poor Alex. So close!
  7. Was it a full moon or something?
  8. MaryAnne, as you were the one who got smarted-off to, I'll leave it to your discretion how you wanna handle it. I'd just as soon hit the button. I don't mind us being knocked in fun, but genuine disrespect earns my fury.
  9. Yeah, like that woodchuck stew post. Saracsm in response to MaryAnne's post is a sure-fire way to find yourself on the outside looking in. Kindly apologize to her, and mean it.
  10. Cowboy, Lori, and B.L.... That was mean-spirited. I'm disappointed in you guys. Really, truly disappointed. Cowboy, I'm especially unhappy with you, for starting the bullying. Picking on these guys and their story is uncool. It's also disrespectful to HNet as a whole. For somebody who's had a whole slew of second chances, and who's been around HNet for years, I'd expect better of you. Pick on somebody your own size. You know where to find me.
  11. Ah'm positive they wouldn't be interested. Besides, everybody's about to see some sordid details about Alex. We might be bumpin' right up against that PG-13 rating heah.
  12. Parked right over there, couple spaces down. S' all ready to go. Just like you. Drive safe, now....wouldn't wanna see ya back in jail...too soon. *grins*
  13. *clears throat* That was an entirely different situation, Doc... *looks to cousin* You can just pretend ya didn't heah that. Fortunately we got Alex heah to embarrass.
  14. *goes outside and finds the car back in good order, satisifed* Well, that's straightened out. But the jail ain't gonna be empty for long, I have a feelin'....
  15. It may not be needed, but it would probably excite 'em....
  16. *admiring the way MaryAnne can catch somebody so easily* Wow. Heah he comes, and you didn't even show him your nightstick. Yet.
  17. Oh no. You know he's got all kindsa twisted notions about you pushin' 'em up against the wall....kickin' his legs apart...friskin' him, patting him down...and then pulling his arms behind his back and snapping on those cuffs, nice and tight, while you murmur "You have the right to remain silent.." in his ear?
  18. *repeats part of that, aloud* ....he could be innocent and therefore should be in jail. Awright, makes sense, but I thought he was guilty and so I let 'em go. It wasn't 'cause he's mah buddy. You don't honestly think I'd agree to help you out with cop-stuff only to protect my misbehavin' friends and mahself, do ya?
  19. Huh?! Yeah.... I mean, ain't it the Coltrane thang to do? Don'tcha arrest people when they're totally innocent and not expecting anything....and then let them get away when they actually deserve it and see it coming? *pulls out the Hazzard County Guide to Law Enforcement For Fun and Profit* I'll admit I'm new to workin' on this side of the law, but I'm pretty sure that's the usual strategy....
  20. *watches Alex make tracks* I don't know whether to be insulted or relieved.
  21. That's a little awkward, MaryAnne. I think he'd still enjoy it.
  22. I don't know. Yer kinda creepin' her out with that handcuff fetish.
  23. Oh, yer swell company. For a Duke behind bars. I'd say perfect company in that respect. *gets a copy of the story, reads* Heh! Awright, it's up to MaryAnne to say if all terms of release have been met... *looks to cousin*
  24. Yer a mite too cheerful about the prospect of bein' locked up, and especially with Chet. There's somethin' not right there. If you're brewin' up an insanity plea, it's working.
  25. Yeah, since apparently threatening you with jail by itself doesn't register. We must be waaay too nice to people.
