2.5 hrs North of Tuscaloosa, Alabama... Home of The Crimson Tide... Is there any other team in college football ?!? -
Check out the new Challenger... I know it's just a concept and probably won't look anything like this when/if it comes out but at least someone at Chrysler heard the complaints. Maybe now, they'll redesign the 2007 Charger to be a two door 1969 concept... I can dream can't I Link to story: http://www.cnn.com/2006/AUTOS/funonwheels/01/04/dodge_challenger/index.html

I Don't Understand the Negative Coy/Vance Attitude
JBama01 replied to fairmont83's topic in General Discussion
I don't really know how much more different they were supposed to be. I mean, after all, they were there to technically replace TW and JS when they walked out. Should they have been brothers rather than cousins ? I suppose people would've been a little more tolerant of them had they say, not driven The General Lee and had their own car to drive around. Of course, the ratings would've surely dropped and the show might've been cancelled for sure then. That just goes to show though that the real star was The General himself. No offense to Bo or Luke.... -

THE DUKES OF SMALLVILLE: TOM WOPAT TO GUEST STAR:
JBama01 replied to The Voice Man of Hazzard's topic in General Discussion
Sounds to me like they're trying a little payback for not letting them be involved in the movie in some way... Way to go WB. Should be a good episode. Can't wait to see it. I wonder if they'll have some outtakes where either John or Tom accidentally calls the other Bo or Luke... -

My best so far is 359... Wait until Rosco is almost on your tail then punch it... Also, remember to avoid the other patrol cars and try to hit the ramp dead on center as straight as you can. On a side note, I'm surprised the Confederate Flag in on the roof...

Heck, before now, I think most people thought the Charger looked like the Shelby version from the 80's. (Remember the hatchback?) That really killed the model anyway. I think this new 2006 version just put the final nail in the perverbial coffin. You'd think they would've took Ford's example of the T-bird and Mustang and designed a more "throwback" Charger design. There's always 2007... -
I'd like to know what Nancy Sinatra thinks more than anything. After all, it is her song that Simpson butchered.

Edmunds.com article on the car and movie

Chrysler needs to remember what side their bread is buttered on... If it weren't for The Dukes of Hazzard, the Charger would just be another muscle car in a LOOOONG line of muscle cars... True, it would still be a cool car, but it would've never achieved legendary status like it has today. One could possibly say cult status. If they don't wanna embrace that fact, I say screw 'em. The new "charger" sucks anyway. -
Did I detect a bit of sarcasm there Dale ?

Anyone seen the pics or tne video of JS washing The General Lee ?? I gotta admit, they're pretty hot... I can post a link, but I wanted to wait first... This is a family site ya know

Hey, I remember having this car... Probably still do somewhere in my packed up childhood

I have the old Daisy's Jeep model... They have two different decal sets... One that says "Dixie" and one that says "Daisy" so you can choose which one you want on your model. I of course chose "Dixie"

Some sites have The General's color as Corvette Flame Red...which changes color from red to burnt orange, depending on the angle you look at the car. I personally don't think it's that bad, but I would've liked to seen the side of the car as opposed to the front.

That was totally awesome.... My question is, where was Rosco ? You crazy kids...

My Grandfather died........ (this is extremely long)
JBama01 replied to DukesFan24's topic in General Discussion
Susan, You have my prayers. It's not easy losing a loved one. I lost my father in January of 2003. My life hasn't been the same since. But you know what, I think of him every day and that's what keeps me going. He's still with me in my heart. I'll always treasure the fact that I was able to tell him that I loved him just hours before he passed. God bless you... Jeff JBAMA01 -
Cooters Garage missing in Hazzard town square set

It's also the same set that was used by "In the Heat of the Night" and maybe "Matlock" if I remember right.
