Outside of the regular vehicles, one of my favorites is Jason Dollard's AC AutoKraft Cobra from 'The Dukes in Hollywood'. It actually belonged to Dukes producer Ralph Riskin.

Being an English classic, I also like Gaylord Duke's Jaguar XK-E (or E-Type as it was over here).

I just watched "Dukes Strike it Rich" and the Dukes were talking about building a lake on their property and buying a yacht for it. I bet that would be your favorite vehicle if they would let you be the Skipper!

I just used a little imagination to fix that. Jesse's wife is Lavinia but once in awhile he calls her by her middle name....Martha.

It was the episode where a girl,  Susie ( ?) was wanting to get married and her father, CJ Holmes didn't want her to be married to a poor guy from Hazzard. The two guys he paid to take his daughter on a cruise lost her and they were in the phone company office asking Maybelle where the Duke farm was and she said on Mill Pond road....don't know what the name of the episode is though. They needed to be more consistent on stuff, like Jesse's wife was Martha and on one  episode Lovinia on another ( and on one Lovinia was Bo and Luke's aunt but not Jesse's wife....

You're right about Old Mill Road. Another episode said it was Mill Pond Road. I could look up which episodes those were if you want. There was never a house number mentioned that I know of.

I'm a firm believer  in HIMM!   ( Hazzard In My Mind!) I've told the other Hazzardites here before , whenever I'm in bed or my recliner or even out in public and don't like my surroundings, I tell my wife I'm going to Hazzard and then I check out!

right on! I'm a firm believer in creating your own world and living in it!  That way everything you want is right there...and the people you want and the people you DON'T want are NOT there!

    Welcome to HNet.
Unfortunately, the original Duke Farm is no longer there. It was dismantled last year, and I know that some HNet members were lucky enough to purchase parts of it. You can read a bit about it in this thread.

Sounds like either the hardware in the tablet was/is nearing the end of its use or you got a virus on the tablet. I wouldn't delete your Facebook account over that.

You might be right but I'm so bad with technology that I'll have to learn more first. It just seems like it's more than a coincidence that I didn't have any trouble with the tablet for the several years that I have owned it and then started having problems as soon as I started using FB.

Well, the Facebook adventure was interesting but it's over. It was fun but also troublesome. I had all kinds of problems with my tablet after I started using FB and it got progressively worse. I went to click on something called "my story" last night and the tablet crashed and is now unusable. The last few days all kinds of warnings have been popping up so I guess I shouldn't be surprised. We have this laptop that we seldom use but now that I have to use it, I'm not getting on FB. The tablet was old so it wasn't a huge loss but I would hate for something to happen to this. Robert, could you please get on the group I started and explained what happened. I would appreciate it if you tell them that I am deleting my facebook account but can be found here on the HN forums if anybody wants me.

Cousin Roger... There's many great ones! To many to pick from! But I like Bo & Daisy's flirting on One Armed Bandits in the Boars Nest.

I wouldn't know where to begin. If I could only pick one it would be the Lucinda Meadows quote that is my signature. Do you have a favorite Skipper?

I try not to look for bloopers because I never like to find fault with perfection but the one I always laugh at is at the end of "Follow that Still" where cigarettes are being thrown out of the APC when nobody is in it.

Like the Boar's Nest, the Duke Farm got moved from the Golden Oak Ranch to Lake Sherwood to Valencia Oaks. I think that the last screen appearance I've found so far is a 1988 episode of Murder She Wrote (see earlier in this thread). It's certainly not there any more.

Your idea is a good one Skipper. It would be a fun change of pace to have a County Commissioner who is nice and honest. It would take getting used to but would be nice. The key to making it work would be getting the new younger Dukes to have the same appeal as the ones did from 40 years ago. If they could pull that off they'd have a winner. Of course another challenge would be the flag. While I would love a return to the Confederate Flag, corporations who advertise on commercials would not permit it. Would Hazzard fans accept an American flag on the orange 1969 Charger? Some would and some would not. I'd be pretty mad that the Confederate flag was taken off but two good things would happen. Number one is that the American flag is something to be proud of as well. Number two is that the Dukes tradition would start up for another generation of fans. Sure, there are young kids today who are Dukes fans because their parents and grandparents handed the tradition down to them but a new Dukes television series would open up the world again to the Dukes Hazzard. Still, the loss of Southern fans who are loyal to the Confederate Flag would be troubling. Despite the wider appeal of the show, Southerners were the heart and sole of the original fan base and have already had too much of their culture taken away. It would be interesting to poll them and see how they would feel.
