    Ya know what, normally I'd be o-ffended by this suggestion. But I'll tell ya what if we hit our goal, I will agree to do the dunk tank. Heck, if the thought of me in a dunk tank makes another 10,000 people like our Facebook page...well, I suppose I can make a sacrafice. ;)

    There's another orange clunker car on ebay (replica) going for $29,500. Not a numbers matching car, but a 440 motor and a....I dunno. some kinda transmission with a...whattayacallit. What's irritating on this baby is that the seller says he's "not interested in the car anymore." :-o

    What, you don't know what a 727 tranny with a 2800 stall converter and shift kit is?

    Seriously tho', sad that the guy lost interest in it...

    This small structure in the field has changed slightly, but the fence in the foreground and the trees behind are pretty much the same.

    I dunno what amazes me more, that after 30 years, the tree is still there....or that the little thing in the field is still there!! (Slightly different now but still there! Looks like a still... LOL)

    Considering what went in across the street from here and knowing that parts of the other ranch where they filmed, Golden Oaks, have been developed into condos (I believe) it's nice to see that this particular spot has survived.

    I think we all feel that way at some point or another (those of us that, uh, are old enough to start feelin' that way LOL).

    But ya know, Val, it's not so much where did the time go, but was it well spent? We're all getting older and can't stop that from happening. I don't believe in any kind of age limit, that is, that when we reach a certain age we can no longer do whatever. I think as long as we stay young in spirit (and watchin' the Dukes helps with that, khee!) looking in the mirror and thinking "boy I'm old!" shouldn't last for more than a moment. Yeah, I'm older. A little wiser (hopefully) and ya know what....I ain't dead yet. So I'm gonna go out there and face the world and make it blink. Kheeehaaa.... :)

    Hoss, those are three of the people who were on the panel I was talking about. The guy on the left didn't know who Boss Hogg was. When one of the ladies explained that he was on Starsky and Hutch she was quickly corrected by someone else who knew what she was talking about. The guy on the left (I think his name is Jeff Toobin) is CNN's legal expert. He might know a lot about the law but I kinda feel sorry for the poor feller, not being exposed to the finer things in life when he was a young man.

    By the way, look at the bottom of the sceeen on that CNN shot. Them fancy folks from the big city don't even know how to spell Hogg.

    Good Lord. Further evidence as to why I don't watch CNN anymore! LOL

    CNN may be based in Atlanta, but I think if Atlanta had it's choice, it would be located somewhere other than in the south.
