Daisy swallowed as Enos got up on stage.

Granny told Daisy to sit down beside her and took her hands "Honey, you depend on me a lot don't you?"

Hughie snickered "Well then come on an fight me strate."

"Honey, I don't know what he's saying. . .okay so I'm not as young as I used to be but well." Granny said.

"Well then I guess you're too big a chicken to fight for your so called woman" "Hughe!" Daisy cried "Enos asked me to marry him. I think he's my man enough."

Daisy sighed a quiet prayer for that "Granny, do you have an idea why Uncle Jed was talking about you not being her much longer?" she asked.

"You heard me." Hughie said

She ran inside hoping everyone was okay

Next thing Daisy knew Hughie had changed to a bullfighting outifit and said "I challenge you Enos Strate for her."

Daisy drove Dixie back to the farm praying to herself as she went.

Hughie in the middle of his act jumped off the stage and headed toward Daisy and Enos

Roscoe nodded "And a good day to you and the little ones Daisy."

Enos held her hand nervous of what Hughie would do since he had an idea it involved Daisy

Enos sighed fiddling with his ear as he was nervous. Jed wished he could comfort her the same as he knew he shouldn't have said what he did about Granny

However, it was Hughie's turn for a talent next

Just then Roscoe came in "What's going on here?"

Jed sighed knowing that it wasn't true.

Daisy started singing meaning every word she sang

Jed looked worried "I know it ain't honey. Now tell me what it is."

Then it was time for Daisy to sing

Jed wrapped an arm around her "Something wrong Daisy? You know you'll still have me."

Soon it was the day of the talent show

Jed looked surpprised "What? I was just being genral"

Enos blushed "Well I gotta go, but I hope to see you tomorrow."

he nodded "You know yer Granny ain't gonna be around much longer."
