"Honey, I don't know what he's saying. . .okay so I'm not as young as I used to be but well." Granny said.

"Well then I guess you're too big a chicken to fight for your so called woman" "Hughe!" Daisy cried "Enos asked me to marry him. I think he's my man enough."

Daisy sighed a quiet prayer for that "Granny, do you have an idea why Uncle Jed was talking about you not being her much longer?" she asked.

Next thing Daisy knew Hughie had changed to a bullfighting outifit and said "I challenge you Enos Strate for her."

Daisy drove Dixie back to the farm praying to herself as she went.

Hughie in the middle of his act jumped off the stage and headed toward Daisy and Enos
