Enos took her into his strong arms and held her close. He never wanted to be away from her again.

"But?" Enos asked feeling there was more she needed to tell him.

Daisy nodded and laid her hand over her shorts pocket. . .she had something to tell Enos and something she had to give him. Her heart pounded

"Well . . .I know this is all hard for you Daisy, but we have our neighbors and plenty of people who love us." Enos said

Daisy tried not to cry

Enos kissed her head "I know it's not honey, but" Enos could only sigh as he didn't know what to say "At least we've got the kids oh and we'll be getting Lady soon also."

Daisy gasped grabbing her Uncle's hand "You think that's him Uncle Jesse?"

Enos nodded "I know you do, but he's watching over us." (Kay sorry you have to leave so soon, but yeah hopefully I'll see ya)

Daisy nodded "I hope so, but well if he is changed. . .I guess I could accept it. Would be interesting to see him be a little bolder." Daisy admitted.

Enos wrapped an arm around her "I know this thing with Granny is bothering you. is it because of Uncle Jesse?"

"Uncle Jesse, I'm nervous about meeting Enos." Daisy admitted.

After awhile it was bedtime and Enos and Daisy sat alone lelavint Enos time to talk to Daisy "What was that about at Dinner?" he askedl

Enos had been driving back to Hazzard from Atlanta as the plane had brought him back from LA, the whole way he listened to his and Daisy's favorite songs.

She snuck out to the barn and climbed up to the loft.

Enos sighed now wondering what she was thinking about.

(Oh well. . .guess I'll see you at some point) Daisy sighed smelling the night air.

"What's the matter?" Enos asked again

"Whats the matter Daisy?" he whispered.

(That's what I meant and I go to school after it and will you still come back sunday night? good day at school) Daisy just looked out the window

They were mostly quiet and Daisy kept glancing at Granny as well as Andrew.

Finally Daisy managed to get into a restless sleep. (Do you get monday off from school?)

"How could Enos almost get himself really hurt for me?" she sighed.

Soon they were all seated around the table.

"Well anything I can do to help?" Elly asked.

The boys sighed and went off to their rooms too
